FP I can't contemplate another child atm don't get me wrong. Mini Okes as regressed like Bonnie too and the nights have been horrific. I can deal with a crying baby who needs feeding but Mini Okes is getting hysterical and will not be settled by Mr C and only me. I have had to leave him in his room screaming. He settles when I go back on but screams when I leave. I have had hysterical screaming for at least 2 hours each night and this morning it was form 5 to 7am and he didn't stop until we just got up. I keep telling myself it is a phase but it is not ideal when Peppa is waking during the night for feeding too.

I like the idea of having 3 kids but I am also practical and financially 3 kids is a bit of a burden. Also, the way I feel now then I would get me sterilised!

Box clearly TT is a boy and likes boobs. Let's just hope he realises at some point (ideally before he is a teen) that he can't just wedge his head between any old bosom. My BabyHawk carrier arrived today on your recommendation [smile}, just need to figure it out now.

Alps it took nearly 18 mths to conceive PFB and 3 months with Peppa!

AlpinePony · 22/12/2010 09:50

okie I'm hoping for similar luck, but what will be will be. I'm hoping that I'll be more chilled out about it this time knowing that we can conceive - just need the right conditions. I conceived last time when moving house and lifting furniture for 48 hours whilst chain-smoking and eating petrol station food. If I'm not pregnant by February we'll be moving house again so finger's crossed! Wink rots had similar, took over 6 months for PFB and second time out she just sniffed a cock.

I think we'd like 3 if possible.

Cossie Do you think TGO can wait that long to TTC? Grin Sounds like he's getting in to the starting blocks already!

I know Alps it's rather frightening! and this from him it took 5 YEARS to convince!!!

OkieCokie · 22/12/2010 10:01

Alps for sure I think state of mind helps. I was far more laid back second time around and although I was pissing on my clear blue fertility montior I just thought it wil happen when the time is right. I concieved on valentine's day although it was a drunken shag at a mates house (with Mr C) rather than anything more romantic

PollyPoo · 22/12/2010 11:55

Well it looks like the curse of the ESH homebirth has struck again. SadAngrySad I've had a call from one of the community midwives to say that due to severe weather conditions they cannot support home births and I will have to go to hossie when things kick off. Unless I can cross legs until the Big Thaw, whenever the fuck that might be. Really really fucking pissed off. Sad

AlpinePony · 22/12/2010 12:41

Oh Pols - so very sorry. :( 'Course you don't have to go to hospital - you could always say things "progressed quicker than you expected" if you feel confident with how things are going...

Alright FESHs and lurkers. We know you are there!!

MB has started to laugh. Sort of. Sounds a bit like his cry but not. He has adapted the noise!

Had a grumpy, crying morning and he really screeched as tho in pain. No idea why and he only wanted to be held a certain way and eventually he fell asleep on my chest. Poor bugger. Is right as rain now laughing and kicking and punching the air. So who knows what was up!

ponio I sees your logic and salute ya. Not sure I have it in me to go that close together.

I am getting out the house tmw, come wind rain shine or fecking snow otherwise i'll become agrophobic!! Got loads to do.

MB is obsessed by Xmas tree lights, the ceiling, the mirror in the lounge. He's even started smiling at te dog. Not sure the dog is as keen. Looks mightily pissed off!! The dog. Not MB.

Well the good nights still roll! Slept 730pm - 2, woke up at 6. So not bad at all. We tried to watch a film but I fell asleep 20mins in! Not that unusual. This time HI didn't wake me as he gets the hump usually. Clearly had his sympathetic head on! Or as he says he knew I wodnt understand the film anyway. Rude!!!!!

OkieCokie · 22/12/2010 13:37

Pol sorry to hear that. That is rubbish especailly when you are so prepared. I guess you just need to be prepared (mentally) to go to hospital and just think that the main thing at the end of it all is the safe arrival of baby poo. I chuckled at Alpy's "progessed quicker than expected" comment - I went from 2cm dilated to giving birth in 1 hr 45 mins so I would advise to be prepared for all eventualities (esp as this is your 2nd baybee!)

SilverSky · 22/12/2010 13:45

Ps who have you invested your CTF with??

PollyPoo · 22/12/2010 14:09

Think I'd better re-pack the hossie bag Okie - if this babybee is going to come out that quickly I won't have time to fanny about on the day! Am staying positive and focussing on the main event rather than the journey. And besides, if this baybee is as late as Boo, then it will take me into the new year and hopefully a big thaw!

PollyPoo · 22/12/2010 14:11

Not sure I'd be confident enough for that scenario Pone, although i could do a Boxy and not have time to get the hossie, you just can't know how it is going to turn out!

SilverSky · 22/12/2010 14:24

poo just to say I am not ignoring your posts! Stupid wanky phone hasn't been showing them !!!

Fingers and everything xd for late baybee!!!!!!

CluckyKate · 22/12/2010 14:33

We went with Children's Mutual ethical trust fund for LC Silv.....wouldn't call myself an ethical-type and have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about on such things but is nice to feel smug in the knowledge that her dosh is tied-up in more fluffy-type investments Xmas Hmm

Sorry to hear the HB may go tits-up Pol. Has any FESH actually had a planned one???

AlpinePony · 22/12/2010 15:04

Poll Ain't that the truth! You could give birth on the kitchen floor, inside the materna-cab or in the birthing suite pool. Who the fuck knows? All we do know is that you are going to lay a baybee v soon! Grin

Kate Nope. Me, rots, donttry had them planned - all 3 failed and 2 of us had big interventions.

We've just signed the first lot of papers for the house/lawyer/bank. [fear] We've got until 7th Jan to back out without penalty - but unlikely to give as mortgage is 300 a month cheaper than rent...

Oh Pol Sad hoping for a big thaw for you xx

We have our CTF with Childrens Mutual too, through Britannia Building Society. Only just got round to doing it, no chance of any extra going in this side of the new financial year...

Cosmosis · 22/12/2010 15:56

sorry to hear that Pols :(

erm, oiur CTF fund cheque is currently invested in the pile o shite on the bookcase by the front door still to be sorted.

CUNextTuesday · 22/12/2010 16:06

Can do it all online cos, as long as you have the voucher number, then they send you the shiz to read

Cosmosis · 22/12/2010 16:08

Ah that suits my lazy arse, cheers for info.

Cosmosis · 22/12/2010 16:43
