I'm here beaditAli! I have been very lucky with Luke he poo's every 6-8 days and they don't smell bad at all, in fact his windy bum smells much worse!!! I have a nappy wrapper bin, which I love and I only have to empty it every 3 days.

Weaning!! Gawd! Another thing that I have absolutely no clue about, went to a baby club yesterday with a friend and her 9 month old... we swapped so she was looking after my DD and I helped out with snack time with her DS. I fed him all sorts!! Didn't realise that he hadn't tried any of the foods I gave him till i told my friend what he had eaten...oops

I have a nappy sausage bin but it's up 2 flights of stairs and if I'm in the living room I can't be bothered with the trek!

It depends on the weekend we have dss, but this year we are doing it this weekend

Think I'll start the tradition off and buy Jack is first bauble/tree dangly thing at the beer fest then get one every year for him til he's old enough to tell me it's a daft idea and he hates sparkly things!

My boys love it! Dss is 9 and can't wait to choose his tree decoration, he chose ds1's until last year so he will probably get Luke's too. Ds1 chose a glass one last year which he dropped in the shop, they still made us buy it and dh glued it back together- all adds to the memory though.

we always avoided a real tree when we had our giant pooch though not a problem this year. I can tree shop now!!!

Hi All.

beadit - Oliver does at least one major poo a day! which often leaks on to his clothes! Runny and yellow....yuk!

Does anyone else have a favourite nappy brand? I HATE pampers with a vengence - they always leak! Am leaning towards huggies and asda's own myself.

Olly has been a dream today (so far!) He slept for 8 hours 15 mins last night, 11-7:15 (and an hour of that he slept through me and DP yelling at eachother which is more amazing!), we then had a bottle in bed and played for a while. He then sat and watched me clean the living room, slept for an hour in his swing whilst I cleaned the bedroom and then had a bottle again, played and has been asleep for the last two hours! Allowing me some lunch and take-a-break arrow-words!

Amazing considering he had his jabs yesterday - such a good boy, didn't even cry.

Decorations went up on the 1st beadit - Olly loves the lights!

DP is going for a swift half after work - so more mummy time for Olly - right better go and put my gammon joint in for tea! MMMMMM gamon egg and chips!! What is everyone else having?

Someone was talking about name choices? We didn't really like any boys names apart from Oliver and Jack - had girls name picked out since we got together - sods law! I think Olly suits his name, but I really am still like "OMG he's mine...I am fecking mum!!....ARGH!!!!" I think because we didn't find out about him till I was 6 months gone its just even more amazing/bemusing to me!
