Seem to be experiencing delay - not late yet, but the baggage hasn't arrived Grin

Can't wait to enter - is it a private lounge? Went in one once, loved the free food and drinks! Ds was with us and we LOVED the look of horror on the faces of the businessmen as we walked him through! He was as good as gold, though so on-one could complain.

Anyway! Look forward to meeting you all in here soon. Just couldn't resist replying.

Ooooo , this is posh!!

FingonTheValiant · 01/10/2010 19:50

Is there an oyster bar? And a soft cheese board? Oooh, I can't wait!

AbFabT · 01/10/2010 20:56

Ooh, I like it here! Bring on the babies!

Vikks · 01/10/2010 22:06

Save me a seat please!

Mmmm bubbly, can't wait! Grin

lilmissmummy · 01/10/2010 22:14

I'd like a seat too but no announcements yet so I'll have an orange juice please? x

floozietoozie · 03/10/2010 08:10

Well looks like I'm the first one with an arrival in the lounge - the others must be delayed clearing customs. As I type one fingered I have my little baggage chomping away on the breast. It's so amazing. Her weight was up a bit last night so that's reassuring. She's had a few formula top ups but just in the cup or syringe so that's ok. I was really worried yesterday because she didn't latch on at all following one feed involving ff but had great night with her. Dog tired though!

BionicEar · 03/10/2010 08:21

Can I have a paper to read whilst we wait?!

Glance across with envy at Floozie with chomping baby, as mine prod prod merrily down below and does spins that causes one to take massive intakes of breath of pain! Grin

SeaShellsOnTheSeaShore · 03/10/2010 11:19

:) sounds like you are doing great floozie

Just looking in to see if any of the new arrivals have moved in yet Smile.

Xavielli · 22/10/2010 11:05

'Bump' - Oh the irony, although not for me, as I'm still bumpy.

DillyDora · 29/10/2010 18:00

Hi All,

Just the quickest post, it's been a roller coaster ride - had suspected pre-eclampsia so was taken in for induction on which was begun with Prostin on Oct 13th but Toby not born until Oct 18th! Yes, that's a really long labour ending in EMCS. But he's here, he's great... though we have been back in hosp again as he lost 12% of his birth weight and I still have high BP so back we went for another 5 days. So, in the last couple of weeks I've only been home a couple of days. The MW was here today, have to express breast milk again and see if we can get it into him, I tried with the syringe today and he was having none of it - boob only thanks Mum! His weight is going up but not fast enough (?!) desperately trying not to give formula/use a bottle and fortunately his pa is a whizz with the syringe, but if he has to have a bit of formula then so be it.

So ... any news anyone?!
xxx

hooray! It's snowing- we had a measly amount before, so I'm hoping for masses now. my bro has 18 inches of snow Envy. Harry has been watching it fall with a fascinated expression on his face.

nymphadora · 03/12/2010 10:50

Found you! Got to pick up big dds as their schoolis shutting soon. Snowing pretty well here so glad dh & I cancelled our little walk today. Pretty stocked on food etc and have a working tv so we are set to be stick in. Am on a mission with the big dds room so they can help this afternoon and am ebaying and clearing out for Xmas!

Xavielli · 03/12/2010 10:56

Huzzah! I'm glad we've moved over, can check mumsnet on my phone again!

I've added a couple of pics of Finn to my profile and more up to date ones of DS and DD. There are also a couple of new cakes (Hetty and blossoms) if you would like to critique :O

SeaShellsFiringUpTheQuattro · 03/12/2010 11:01

Wow you are talented Xav!! But you are also making me hungry nd the cake shop is a very long icy walk from here (my only talent in baking is eating them I'm afraid)

Lovely looking kids too :) we all look shite this am thanks to ds' 4.15am morning call!

sam12 · 03/12/2010 11:50

Just marking my place.
Those cakes are brill xav and your kids are very cute.
Still snowed in but things are starting to move again and after poking the icicles off the sky dish with a broom we can watch tv.

AbFabT · 03/12/2010 11:53

Good work on the cakes, Xav! :)
Cute family too!

Nice to be here. Not much snow my end. DS's cousins up in Scotland had enough to make an igloo.

Thanks for the explanation, SeaSh. I have never heard of Gene Hunt. Must go look him up.

kel, great news. And totally loving the name choice! I have a friend who has a DS with the first name Spike - very cool, imo!

SeaShellsFiringUpTheQuattro · 03/12/2010 12:57

(Abfab-you have to watch them to get it-he is not your average pin up or nice guy lol)

HermyaTheRedNosedReindeer · 03/12/2010 14:14

Abfab Xmas Shock How can you never have heard about the awesomeness that is Gene Hunt? Though Seashells is right you do sort of need to watch it to get it.

Xav Finn is very very cute!!

Me and DS attempted to go to babies and tots group this morning. I actually got there only to find it had been cancelled, I wish someone had at least texted me. Instead we went to Asda and bought yet more biscuits. DH is begining to think I have a problem.

Me and DS have been watching Coppers on 4OD, has anyone seen it. I did have a bit of a giggle watching the one where they were out in Wakefield on a Friday night. Yes Mr Drunk person, of course you can have my number Xmas HmmXmas Grin.

nymphadora · 03/12/2010 14:34

Mmmm biscuits ...

Have my big dds now snow getting heavier & they helped carry shopping !

SilverSky · 03/12/2010 16:15

H Coppers is quality viewing!!!

Ds and I hve thrush. Joy.

However he is putting on weight well and is now 11lb 5oz. Little chunker.

Will try and post more. All I seem to do is feed and change nappies. Housework not been done in days. Bloody state but who cares.

Recovery from CS is slow but hopefully am getting there now. Can't wait to get mobile again. Have been lucky with pals picking me and Ds and taking us out as at the mo each and everyday ends up being a by blur. Need to get my social life back on track !!!

Personally I hate the snow. Causes chaos.
