The Final Fruition of the Frolicking Forays for the First Time Frolickers

We came, we saw, we frolicked.

Now our PFB has arrived and we can begin the stressful befuddled guiltridden exhausting wonderful journey of parenthood!

(Or at the very least we can stop bothering the antenatal bunch until they join us!)

Sorry, work interrupted my posting and it appears that I have inadvertently referred to my son as it above...oops!

pixie poor T being mistaken for a boy. When Will was tiny people would compliment me on my lovely girl.....who just happened to be dressed in blue, swaddled in blue,and under a blue blanket Not any more though, he's very clearly a boy!

Will is being very cute at the moment. His speech is developing at an alarming rate, literally a new word or twoa day at the moment. Baby sign language seems to be a bit pointless though as he's saying the word a day or two before he uses the sign. And despite us having left Liverpool a year before he was born, and neither me or DH having a scouse accent, he says hiya just like Cilla Black

They put the handles on upside-down at nursery. We want the handles on so she can open them though, in preparation for toilet training in the coming months...

Sign language has actually worked pretty well for us, as Mindy seems to be a bit slow on speaking. She understands well enough, but doesn't seem interested in saying very much! Sign language has meant we can actually 'talk' much easier. :)

She's fascinated by birds currently, so is constantly pointing out of the window and signing "Bird!". She's also not saying 'Thank you' or 'Bye bye' yet, but can sign them.

When she first started talking, she had a really cute lisp. Especially on 'Yes' which came out as 'Yeth'. She seems to have overcome it now though.

William loves birds too, he points and does the sign while saying birdie, then his finger manages to find its way from his birdie sign up his nostril every single time

I'm in denial that we will ever have to do toilet training, might just get school to do it when he starts

Just wanted to wish you all happy Mothers day!!
Things are great our end, we're not thinking of TTC no 2 either at the moment (although if it happens I'd be over the moon) my excuse is AF hasn't come back yet as am still BF. But in reality I'm now really aware of how much I got to enjoy my pregnancy and can't imagine having to put up with morning sickness and looking after a toddler
S is a little chatterbox and walking really well too. He's very tall (91st centile) so gets mistaken for older than he really is. I think some people think he's slow as he still acts very babyish inspite of the babbling. I hope it's not something he'll have to put up with all his childhood.
Great tip bunny on the upside down door handles! Must try to remember that one. Unfortunately in our situation, it's actually more work getting DH to put them upside down than distract S from the doors
am also :o at the thought of a toddler with a scouse accent in Aust!!

Hi Everyone - had a bumpy couple of months, but hoping I am the other side of it now! Still have moments of mild panic but have taken the first step in seeing GP as it was getting really bad and more noticable.

Have only looked back over a few pages, so sorry not to be personal - but I am glad everyone seems to be doing well.

T is huge and healthy - >99%ile for lengh, and on the 75th for weight - I can not believe he is 15 months already! I had to buy some trousers in age 2-3 which was a little sad, but the 1st of the cousins arrived in Feb 2012 so I get to enjoy T and all his cheekyness and then have baby cuddles

Will try to look on here more often and keep up with everyone!
