but fingers crossed yes... both dh and I are desperate for a baby now, even mil is finally talking about it.. the only thing will be I will really have a houseful now!

Are you in Newbury now MrsD? I forgot to ask.

MrsDoesChristmas · 19/12/2005 14:22

Yeah we are in Stockcross, Northwest Newbury, I guess.

lunavix · 19/12/2005 14:24

There's the vine hotel at stockcross.. I got married in their sister hotel in Donnington It's lovely

lunavix · 19/12/2005 14:24

How's it going? You liking it?

MrsDoesChristmas · 19/12/2005 14:26

I guess. We moved at the wrong time of year though, it been really cold but we are warming up now. I've been through a really bad patch, thought I was losing it for a bit, but I think things are getting better now.
Really looking forward to Christmas
Although I don't enjoy being pregnant.

lunavix · 19/12/2005 14:28

I love being pg and I love moving house...but I've found since having ds that things get on top of me quite easily...

Glad you are starting to settle in around here

MrsDoesChristmas · 19/12/2005 14:29

You love bing pregnant and moving house???????[shock}
Lunavix, Are you sane???????????????????????

lunavix · 19/12/2005 14:30

Not together!!!!!!

I moved during having ds (actually during labour lol) and again 3 months later, that was stressful enoguh!

MrsDoesChristmas · 19/12/2005 14:30

Mad woman!

ohFennelyeHerbful · 20/12/2005 09:58

lunavix, great news on the possibly pregnancy. hope it continues.

I like moving house. but haven't done it since having children. can see that would be different.

we are planning to move to Exeter soon. with the fun of moving house, jobs, school and nursery all at once. luckily i won't be pregnant too.

[whispers congrats lunavix] and fingers crossed that all is ok. They'll just do your dates by your 10/12wks scan which is what they did for dd at 10 wks my period date would have made me 5.5mth pregnant so don't worry about that. You should probably go down and get all registered anyway with the dr etc as you can't get false positives from what I have read.
Glad things are settling down MrsD, dd does that pregnant tummy walk and it does look hilarious I hope I don't really look like that when I walk.
Glad your dd is now OK YG, you don't need any more bugs do you?
Fennel jealous at meetup, must arrange some sort of get together with those in Auckland but I'm not very good at doing the organising so it may never happen (MrsD will back me up on that one)
Have a fab Christmas everyone!

MrsDoesChristmas · 21/12/2005 12:51

If I remember correctly Chuffingoodtime, we were organised I think our babies were unwell, though.
Anyway, hope things are working out for you Lunavix. Hopefully your household will feel better over the Christmas period YG, it's hard work.

Anyway, if I don't log on again before Christmas.
Merry Christmas everyone!!

Chuffingoodtime · 23/12/2005 20:48

You are right MrsD.

Quick question is anybody able to answer this question for me here
Have a great Christmas - hopefully we will too and it isn't worst case scenario...

ohFennelyeHerbful · 23/12/2005 20:54

hi chuffed

have answered on the other thread. sounds like you should be packing the bag (can't remember what sort of birth you are hoping for? presumably not homebirth after a section last time?)

very exciting. christmas baby!

Chuffingoodtime · 23/12/2005 21:40

Thanks Fennel, my midwife also said it sounded like one but she said it could still be days to weeks so hopefully not a Christmas Day bub.
Currently washing clothes and about to pack bag just in case.

LucyJones · 24/12/2005 20:31

ooh a Christmas baby Good luck Chuffed Merry Christmas everyone else xxxx

ChunkerXmasCake · 24/12/2005 20:40

Good luck, Chuffed!

Merry Christmas everyone...our babies' second one (though I'm considerably more excited than DS ).

DS is counting beautifully these days...like this: six, five, four, five, two!

Had his MMR a week and a half ago and has been temp spikey again since (once) - up to 40.3. Still, at least he never hides being ill from us!

His talking's increasing by the day - he repeats everything now (MUST stop swearing ). Keeps pointing at my tummy and saying "Babee!"

Anyway, enjoy the festivities!

LucyJones · 27/12/2005 14:16

Congratulations Chuffed
From her antenatal tthread (I was being nosey!!) "Hi all,

Just a quick note from Chuffed's husband, she went into labour on Xmas day at 0530 and delivered at 1006. Baby arrived 3 weeks early (due Jan 16th) but is doing well. Chuffed has had a couple of bleeds so is still in hospital under close observation and will hopefully be out in a couple of days so will update you herself then. "
