no no, I need that

oopsandbabycoconuts · 11/07/2010 21:12

It was for you as was some of the gin - should I have added a different boozy beverage for you? I thought Gin was clear and you could say it was water. On second thoughts I should have added some vodka.

dizzydixies · 11/07/2010 21:13

I hate gin, tastes like midget gems lol - I can only drink teenage alchopops or rose wine

Have a great holiday Crisp. I thought of you today as I was hoofing down some brie

Hello everyone else, back from very tiring but nice overnight visit to the PIL. MIL lovely as ever, FIL his usual self only more so But DS had a great time and was universally adored. I should have been in bed hours ago but have stayed up to watch Holland and Spain slug it out...what a mental game.

MrsMiamla · 11/07/2010 22:06

a bientot crispy, I hope the journey goes smoothly and that both girls behave themselves

hello and goodnight to the rest of you, i'm shattered and working tomorrow

DS still awake but I"ve just handed the reigns over to DH

good night my dear hairy truckers

dizzydixies · 11/07/2010 22:22

a bientot my arse, you stole my pringles

shattered and working tomorrow too and not expecting a welcome back with open arms at least there won't be many there thanks to TITP.

glad you had a good time Cyteen, I didn't manage to see your shopping links due to Dad's computer but will have a look tomorrow - all VERY exciting

night all if someone could have the rescue rememdy on ice for tomorrow I'd be grateful [aware of how pathetic I am emoticon]

MrsMiamla · 11/07/2010 22:25

dizz you're not being pathetic at all. you're going back to work after a horrific experience, and to spend the day with a load of bitches

RedLentil · 11/07/2010 23:04

Good luck for tomorrow Dizzy and sympathy on the driving Madame Crisp.

I don't want to think about windows any more.

TwilightSurfer · 11/07/2010 23:06

HELLO! HELLO HELLO HELLO

Never fails. I never make it to the party on time.

Captain NICE MOVE! I've had to clear a few mouths in my day. Nothing scares me more. Reminds me I should update my CPR/First Aid training certification.

DD1 being a pill! All the joys we give her and there's ALWAYS a complaint. I can't do ANYTHING right for her. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I calmly told her when we got home today that I was saddened by her angry tone and grounded her to her room for the rest of the day. After she ate the tea I provided (in her room) she popped out to say she was sorry. I thanked her but explained the punish me not over just because she realized her error. At which point she HUFF and said she WASN'T SORRY and stormed back to her room. 4 more weeks until school is back in session and I can HARDLY wait!

Morning all, girls up at stupid o'clock so am trying to sort everything so I can get out the bedroom for when DH comes back. When he's doing those kind of events there is a 'just keep going' mentality so by the time he gets home today he'll just need to collapse into bed, bless him.

Right ho, off to work I go with my grin & bare it expression trying not to seep through too much!! It's only 4 hrs, it's only 4 hrs, it's only 4 hrs...

oopsandbabycoconuts · 12/07/2010 08:02

Llvely Dizzy - remember you are above them all. Think of cakey bakey success heading your way. Then you can deliver them a tray of laxative laced cakes on your way out

alittlebitshy · 12/07/2010 09:04

morning all.
dizzy hope it goes ok today.
miamla what time did ds go to bed in the end? I have never had a child up beyond bedtime unless for an event or illness so i think you are a saint!!!! Then again we are quite anal about bedtime because evenings are sacred in the ALBS house! Ds's longest flump around before going to sleep was about 2 hours i think but he is happy in bed and just chats to himself, plays with his treasures, looks at books etc.

GladioliBuckets · 12/07/2010 09:42

I'm with you Albs, enjoy the evenings while you can before they are old enough to stay up and hang out and not let you watch inappropriate tv. Kurt only took half an hour to settle in his new bed last night. Have realised I've timed the change totally wrong as DH has to leave for my concert at 7.30 Thursday and leave 17yr old babysitter in charge. I'll just let her keep him downstairs I think and hope he dozes off on the sofa at some point.

Anyway, who introduced me to Ravelry.com? I am SO impressed - it's not just a knitting forum and pattern database (with reviews & pics), it's an online catalogue of your own yarns and needles and project manager. TS You must take up knitting NOW, you would LOVE it. There's even a group for knitters who love Morrissey!

See you in about 6months...

TwilightSurfer · 12/07/2010 12:38

sleep?

TwilightSurfer · 12/07/2010 14:16

My day... Well it won't be as adventurous as Crispy's unless someone steals my truck while I'm at the grocery store.

Safe travels CrispFamily!

Buckets I should attempt knitting to help my brain. It's really fuzzy lately. LOL! That was funny and completely accidental.

VG take your time and we'll see you on the flip side.

Dizzy it's just 4 hours.
