As the lefties have one, we need one too.

I have everything crossed for them to win, by however small a margin, and red wine and arsenic ready in case they lose...

I daren't stay up as my nerves can't take it. I just desperately want to wake up to a Conservative government tomorrow morning.

Lefties, please don't intrude. I have deliberately started this thread so as not to pester you on your anxious thread. It feels mean and unnecessary to tell you why you are wrong on your own thread.

BBC just had Kevin Maguire from the Mirror on already trying to talk things down and stir trouble. Ha.

I got my children up last night to watch DC opening speech. (mean mother alert!) They weren't asleep and I felt it was important for them to understand. They had talked about it in assembly and were surprisingly interested! They have gone to school today all excited as they have a new government (they are 9 and 5!)

Yep, I let DD stay up until after Cameron's speech. She was impressed by the baby in Mrs. Cameron's belly.

She got a bit confused about which one was leaving, which was coming, and why the queen was involved. But we had a recap this morning, and think she learned something.
