I was a Manor girl 93-97. So sad that its gone now. Did anyone else keep their milk on the window sill?

OhGodItsCod · 29/04/2010 21:49

no

Horton · 29/04/2010 21:49

Glad you know who you are, Cod.

At least I only got confused about a date rather than my whole identity...

nigglewiggle · 29/04/2010 21:50

Do you think this discussion merits its inclusion in "Politics" ?

tvfriend · 29/04/2010 21:50

My housemate went out with an ACCA- must have been 1990. They were the lot that got into trouble in Spain I think?
Wednesday nights were always the nights to be in the OVT

OhGodItsCod · 29/04/2010 21:51

i dont think dh went to spain
will ask
lol at horton trying to snatch vitocry against mrs acca

blametheparents · 29/04/2010 21:52

I lived in Raddlebarn Road in Selly Oak and then Exeter Road.

castille · 29/04/2010 21:52

Yes I remember the Spain incident and the boyfriend was there (naughty) We weren't together then, can't even remember what happened.

You're not my housemate are you tv?!

tvfriend · 29/04/2010 21:52

Think they went after we left- we were all going out with men (boys?) in the year below- oh the shame.

OhGodItsCod · 29/04/2010 21:53

i live din raddlbarn
in a house styled like a swiss chalet

NO HEATING

tvfriend · 29/04/2010 21:53

Castille- Hubert Road??!

nigglewiggle · 29/04/2010 21:53

I was a Dawlish Girl. Staggering distance from the OVT!

tvfriend · 29/04/2010 21:55

What was the curry house with the fish tank called?

OhGodItsCod · 29/04/2010 21:55

dilshad?

nigglewiggle · 29/04/2010 21:56

No-one has mentioned the Selly Sausage .

castille · 29/04/2010 21:57

tv - nope, not me

Dawlish was THE place to live

tvfriend · 29/04/2010 21:57

The bloke I totally lusted after lived in Dawlish road- hence a lot of staggering back from the OVT down that road in a vain attempt to bump into him (although generally he was in the OVT snogging other girls

OhGodItsCod · 29/04/2010 21:57

oh no now that was for poshies
opened in our ?second year
was a bit rah for us
we cooked our own
we ate together every nighet in alton road.
were most refained

Horton · 29/04/2010 21:58

I lived in about four or five different houses. I kept moving. Alton Road, Bournbrook Road, one in Balsall Heath and another two in Moseley. I think the worst was Balsall Heath. V cheap but no fridge. The landlord did give me a fiver on my birthday, though (not a euphemism).

tvfriend · 29/04/2010 21:59

Yes- the Dilshad! Thanks. There was a fab doner kebab place too and that really crappy supermarket. For a speacial occasion we'd go to sainsburys at the top of the hill and wheel the trolley home.

SuSylvester · 29/04/2010 21:59

night all!

Horton · 29/04/2010 22:00

The Selly Sausage was fab! Not for poshies, surely?

castille · 29/04/2010 22:00

I had posh mates who wore expensive jeans to the Selly Sausage of a hungover Sunday morning.

They all lived on Dawlish rd. AND they had heating.

tvfriend · 29/04/2010 22:01

Can't remember the Selly Sausage- what was it??

nigglewiggle · 29/04/2010 22:02

There was Zeddies 'super'market at the end of Dawlish and one on Bristol Road beginning with M. Both crappy!
