I think anyone who votes reform should think very carefully, I was fooled for a moment, when he chanted on about leaving the EU until I researched facts , I voted to stay in the EU , Factual information deemed necessary before changing for the worse type of government under Farage dont listen to hyped up lip service they give , the whole party it appears to be made up of failed members from other parties.

Nice attempts at deflection from some 'parents'?

A prank? Just put Ian Wat.... into Google, not even his full name and his whole sordid history is there. The bar is getting lower. For victims of CSA it's no prank seeing someone with aspirations to be PM reading this out.

It feels like your anger should be directed at the pranksters.

Support him doing video greetings on Cameo? Sure.

It’s unusual for a politician but there’s nothing wrong with it.

Being pranked? It makes him look a bit foolish.

Not recognising the name of a sex offender is not “vile” or “disgusting”. It’s not a eulogy.
It’s not one more instance of political sleaze. It’s just being caught out.

Like Tony Benn not realising Ali G was an act, or David Cameron forgetting which football team he supports.

You defend his ignorant and vile actions. Thanks for confirming.

Mahanswarcanoe · 17/01/2026 00:05

Don’t panic - I can’t see Labour winning a second term.

at least that’s what I assume you meant?

Not a good look for you there- assumption and ignorance all in one. You can do better than that i hope.

Yes, I mean god forbid that we might want the uk government to actually govern and not merely play follow the leader to the EU…

but well done you :)

Where have I trivialised child rape? Grabbing at straws now, not a good look. You set your flag with a racist grifting liar who's idiotic enough to fall for being tricked into congratulating a child rapist - it's you here that's looking pitiful, not me!

This country needs the EU as much as they need us, dont take away opportunity for future generations, they need to have the freedom of movement just as we did, but removed due no one doing a due diligence prior to voting , facts before flattery.

suggestionsplease1 · 17/01/2026 00:18

Well yes, he did get pranked but what a muppet.

He's in the pocket of someone who will pay him less that £100 😂..imagine what imbecilic nonsense he's spouting for Putin, Trump etc who are prepared to send him a few hundred thousand.

Honestly these idiot Tories going after him, what were they thinking, how stupid they all look now 😂

Ah yes - when your worldview is shattering around you and you are reminded you are in the minority out in the real world, reach for that reassuring old trope to help you sleep at night.

or… god forbid, you could be the one with the niche views?

Wait though, any minute they’re going to give that £350 million a week to the NHS right? Farage couldn’t have misled us all surely?

FWIW I’m glad you didn’t vote for it though, even though unfortunately, other people believed it all.

You’re right, we are worried that we’re the ones with the niche views. Given what we’re reading on sites like these, it’s a lost cause. More than half the country seems to have lain down with dogs and got up with fleas.

Literally all of the virtues you associate with the EU are not virtues at all - not least of which is freedom of movement which may have worked to help you have a nice gap year, but have destroyed job opportunities for Uk low income workers.

Our exchange has been you eliding getting tricked by a prankster with supporting a child rapist, which you then defended as fair game becuase you don’t like Nigel Farage.

I don’t like Nigel Farage.

I have enough respect for the issue, and for victims of child rape, never to use it as some generic slur for people whose politics I don’t like.

Anyway, As Bernard Shaw perhaps once said: “never wrestle with a pig. You both get covered in mud and the pig enjoys it”. So I’ll leave you to play your filthy, rape-trivializng games with others.

Mahanswarcanoe · 16/01/2026 22:58

The UK is governed by quangos and arm length bodies. The judiciary has too much power and it has broken the traditional separation of powers between the executive, legislature and judiciary that made the system work. All courtesy of the Blair era which assumed we would play follow the leader to the EU forever and so could dispense with all that tedious governing stuff.

if farage can bulldoze through this and get our government actually governing again then yes, I believe him.

Speak for yourself. There are three women in Scotland and a lot of Darlington nurses who are very happy right now with the power the judiciary has.

😂 You think it is 'adult' to vote for a person who is scammed so trivially? What a bunch of losers!

That's the kindergarten class in the room, not the adults. 😁

Yes I expect they are miricaks do happen lol, and second guessing we will have to privately pay for any health care, he has fallen head over heals for the American health care system, so anyone who thinks that the NHS will still be here for you if he gets in, then think again, his followers must have very deep pockets and a clean bill of health to get health insurance .yes I work within the NHS all I can see is disaster , God help us all , I would move abroad but restricted now due to the lack of free movement, thanks guys you did us proud, not.

And? It doesnt mean they are in the right does it? Gobby racist cunts tend to do well with disenfranchised and illiterate populaces that have been convinced that minorities are to blame for their issues. I will at least assume you understand that at least.

The left, in public: "The people are disenfranchised and illiterate."

The people, who, far from being "disenfranchised and illiterate", can both vote and read: <read what the left has said about them and vote accordingly>

The left: "Why did we lose the election?"
