I was listening to radio 4 this morning. They were talking about the minerals and difficulty extracting them.
they also went onto explain there’s a bit of sea which is poorly defended by Britain and Greenland that links us.

Trump is doing his best to avert attention from domestic affairs.
He is a confirmed sexual offender and most likely deeply embroiled in the whole Epstein affair. What better than to halt the investigations about him than to divert attention elsewhere. He is also a puppet for other greedy multi millionaires /billionaires who cannot stop from wanting more and more. Added to that he has very limited political knowledge, well knowledge full stop never mind political. He also manages to sack every single opponent, and replaces them with yes men.
Anyone with rational, intelligent, insight is sacked.
I really don’t know what he could do to stop people from voting for him.

As for Greenland, well I really don’t think anyone is going to stop him.

There has been pushback from France, Germany, Poland, Denmark and the UK on the suggestion of the USA grabbing Greenland. Behind closed doors, I am sure there are a lot of diplomats going WTF?!

The USA can happily take out one country without much sweat, but taking on most of Europe - most of whom are NATO allies - is a different proposition altogether. If he wants to see a rearmed Europe, possibly turning towards China for weapons, it would be a great way to do it. It would kill US soft power and blow up the global power balance.

Its also worth noting that Trump threatens, but does not always follow through. Venuzuala wasn't a regime change; it was a mafia power grab. I'm still not sure what he has achieved in there, apart from shock. Even the oil companies are dubious as it's not a great investment prospect.

It wouldnt surprise me if he announces a constructive conversation with Denmark next week and lots more Americans in the bases already built in Greenland "to own the Artic".
