I'm not a fan of Farage but that's an eyewateringly tenuous attempt to link him to Epstein 😂

Springonway1 · 02/01/2026 19:41

Yes I think we are all expecting a lot of hit jobs attempts on Farage between now and 2029.

Thatonenight · 02/01/2026 19:41

Tommy Robinson is mentioned too.

Springonway1 · 02/01/2026 21:16

OP the summary of your own link states

"Nigel Farage appears in 21 documents from the Epstein files, primarily in social media analysis documents monitoring Brexit-related discussions and in reports about Steve Bannon’s international political network connecting right-wing populist leaders.

Farage is mentioned in two distinct contexts within these documents. First, he appears in social media monitoring reports tracking Brexit discussions and public reactions to his ‘Breaking Point’ immigration poster during the 2016 referendum. Second, and more significantly, he is referenced in multiple reports analyzing Steve Bannon’s efforts to build a global network of nationalist and populist movements, appearing alongside figures like Viktor Orbán, Marine Le Pen, and Donald Trump. These documents describe Farage attending political events and fundraisers in the United States. One document also quotes him praising Putin’s handling of Syria."

Im not quite sure of the point you are trying to make?

There are plenty of rich pickings to be fair. And he so hates scrutiny

I dont think there are "rich pickings". Hes been in politics for 30 years and scrutinised and pilloried throughout. People know what they are getting already.

The latest story about his school days is desperate and ridiculous because it's clearly a political hit job (particularly listening to one of the "victims" describing what happened 50 years ago on Radio 4 and then ruining it by then criticising Farage's current politics which was amusing).

Most people are reasonable. Most people don't judge a person on their behaviour at school many decades ago in a different time with a different culture. People criticising Farage as a child are at the same time supporters of current and former Labour Cabinet ministers or PMs who behave badly now as adults while actually in power.

Having said that I do expect the hit jobs to continue from Labour. Dominic Cummings predicted they will go for everything they can. Bank accounts, health records etc by fair or foul means. Not pleasant for anyone. But NF should take some comfort in knowing that most people (even if they aren't Reform voters) will know what Labour are up to.

He will face the same scrutiny as any other prominent politician quite rightly but he clearly doesn’t like it. I’ve got my popcorn ready

1dayatatime · 03/01/2026 09:56

Pope John Paul II is also mentioned in the Jeffrey Epstein files, specifically in the form of a framed photograph found in Epstein's properties.

The picture showed Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell with Pope John Paul II during a private audience at the Vatican, believed to have taken place around 2003.

But I don't think thats true at all. Labour politicians don't seem to get the same scrutiny. To consider just one example, what happened about those Ukrainian rent boys that managed to set fire to Starmer's car under very interesting circumstances. Now thats the sort of thing we need popcorn for, not some dredged up boring stuff about Farage.

Or if Labour politicians are scrutinised and found to do something dodgy (eg Angela R) not much happens and they are still potential leadership candidates. Bizarre.

1dayatatime · 03/01/2026 10:03

It's even alleged that the late Queen met with and was a "client " of Epstein.

Fair enough. Perhaps people would be better of judging him on his more recent performance as an MEP?

My point was with her that even if they do get scrutinised nothing happens particularly. Shes still a leadership contender even though she fiddled her house value to the detriment of her son's trust.

What's wrong with the second picture?

The first one...does standing next to someone in a photo mean you agree with everything they do or say? Because the Queen had to stand next to a few interesting people...

BohoGarden · 03/01/2026 10:31

Nothing happened particularly to Farage despite him repeatedly failing to serve his consituents in any way when he was an MEP.

If he was an incompetent MEP its up to the voters not to re elect him. What we are discussing is a different thing. The OP is trying presumably to suggest some law breaking by NF as he has been mentioned by Epstein. Obviously looking at her source this attempt is a load of rubbish. Same with Angela R. She actually did do something dodgy.

Im not a NF supporter. I just don't like the hypocrisy that the left subscribe to.

The second picture makes me wonder what Farage's stance will be on animal welfare should he ever have any power. A vote for Farage is a vote for blood sports.

The Queen stood beside people out of duty. Farage can choose who he stand beside and makes a thumbs up sign. He also made a follow up statement supporting Andrew Tate. It wasn't just a photo.

Thats just your own personal view. Blair's major regret is that he banned hunting. Plenty of people disagree with the ban. They haven't seen a fox rip the heads of their hens just for fun for a start. Good on Farage for supporting the countryside. Labour don't understand the rural way of life.

They have been forensically scrutinised

Yes but Ange is still in the running to be leader! Thats my point. Scrutinise away as much as you like. Keir is still in his post despite being rather keen on people buying political influence from him using freebies. Labour are highly corrupt. Also shown by their cancellation of elections.

No consequences from scrutiny if you're Labour. And thats because the left believe in their own virtue. They can behave as badly as they like but because they are "good" they don't need to bear the consequences. They don't give Farage the same leeway as he is on the right and therefore in their view "bad". Not in everyone else's view obviously. But they can't see that.

Blair regretted the amount of time the debate took, not the actual banning of fox hunting.

Over 75% of the UK population are against hunting so most people do agree with the ban.

This isn't true.

Following scrutiny Labour MPs Louise Haigh, Andrew Gwynne and Rushanara Ali have all been sacked or asked to resign from the Labour party during Keir Starmer's leadership.

Well its hardly relevant to NF is it. Or in most people's priorities. So I'm not sure why that photo was used. Again...a time wasting distraction, just like Blair said.

Posting up a picture of Farage supporting the hunt is never a waste of time. If it makes one person realise that he supports animal cruelty my time wasn't wasted. If you're not interested in that or too busy for the full picture of the type of man he is then you can just scroll on.
