The UK has a racism problem

I do agree that this would normally be a local, not national, story but even one incident like this is one too many and note the shopowner is himself Muslim judging by his name.

If somebody wants to BDS, fine go ahead but they have no right to try and force others. (Not to mention none of them boycott Israeli technology or anything that would actually inconvenience them.)

Society is unravelling when I’m looking at the news and seeing pretty regular footage of people in the streets going at it with weapons. Large sticks in this case, machetes elsewhere in broad bloody daylight. I look back at footage of the 1960s with young people in London wearing colourful clothing and huge smiles and wonder what the fuck happened.
