Thankyou.
I didn't lose a family member during this time. But I had both my parents having chemo in March 2020. My mum continued throughout covid and beyond and even when she was in hospital and then a hospice last year for her final days I had to wear a mask in her room. This was May 2022.
Every time she was in hospital until her lash visit when told nothing more could be done (April 2022) she went alone. For 2 whole years covid dictated what we could and couldn't do with regards the time we had with her.
2 whole years.
Luckily her funeral and home restrictions weren't there in her final months - something I'm forever grateful for. But to think of I'd have just called her final 2 years in medical care a leaving do (and justified it by the fact she was dying) I'd have had more contact.
