I'm still so torn. In a single sentence can you say who you are voting for and why?

Either labour or snp, on the one hand labour need all the help they can get to keep the Tories out, but if down south elect that horror Johnson in, then as a former No voter I’d gladly vote yes in an independence referendum.

JKScot4 · 12/12/2019 00:10

@opti
Labour are dead in the water in nearly every constituency here in Scotland with only 7 MPs, SNP is how to keep the Tories out here.

TheVeryHungryTortoise · 12/12/2019 00:15

So many people fail to realise that you don't have to like Corbyn to vote Labour.

I work in the NHS. If you vote Tory the NHS is gone, and then you'll be funding your lengthened elderly years of ill health until it bankrupts you and your family. Just don't sit around complaining when it happens, because we (healthcare professionals in the NHS) have told you multiple blooming times. I'm fed up with the public's entitlement and complete ignorance.

Tactical vote for the Lib Dems against the Conservatives

The Tories have left the country in a sorry state. I’ve seen for myself that our health service and our schools are struggling, and vulnerable people are suffering needlessly. Our Tory MP’s voting record is abhorrent to me.

I also think that revoking Brexit is the sanest option. We’re wasting all trying to turn back time, when we could be going forwards.

Cattenberg · 12/12/2019 00:19

*wasting all this energy

Mammyloveswine · 12/12/2019 00:19

Labour-because if after 10 years this is the best the tories can do it's time for a change!

CendrillonSings · 12/12/2019 00:21

Conservative. Getting Brexit done and keeping the far left cranks out of power makes this the most important election of my lifetime.

mustardbean · 12/12/2019 00:26

SNP. I value the NHS, and feel that the Tory majority down South is a world away from perspectives in Scotland.

mustardbean · 12/12/2019 00:26

... down South (even!)

OPTIMUMMY · 12/12/2019 00:27

@JKScot4 My constituency is one of the rare labour ones. It went SNP after the referendum, then back to labour with a narrow margin in 2017, so could go either way. Tories won’t get a look in so not worried about the vote being split.

RedWineIsFabulous · 12/12/2019 00:27

Thegirlfromstoryville

Most sensible post I've read in a long while.

Tory here too.

RaspberryBubblegum · 12/12/2019 00:28

Labour.
Vote with your heart not with your pockets. Children are going hungry and homeless are dying on our streets.

gluteustothemaximus · 12/12/2019 00:29

Labour.

For the many.

mindproject · 12/12/2019 00:34

"Getting Brexit done". Did everyone swallow the stupid pill?

Who do you think the Tories will blame when everything goes to shit because of Brexit? That will be you; because you voted for it. They'll blame the poorest 50% because they're always the easiest to scapegoat and the Tories have already convinced enough people that only poor people voted for Brexit.

Knowhowufeel · 12/12/2019 00:39

Tory, to stop Corbyn getting in bc he is dangerous, Labour policies are pie in the sky & momentum have too much power.
I also won't vote for a party that has thrown women under the bus in their quest to be PC (Libdem, Green and Labour), or one that won't condemn antisemitism (Labour).

OhWellThatsJustGreat · 12/12/2019 00:42

Spoiling my paper because they're all a bunch of liars who wouldn't know how and can't be trusted to organise a piss up in a brewery but I refuse to not vote.

JuneJuly · 12/12/2019 00:57

Labour.

Best chance of stopping the Tory candidate winning in my constituency.

Purely tactical voting, without that being necessary I would probably vote LibDem.

Pinksmyfavoritecolour · 12/12/2019 01:00

Hadn’t thought to go and spoil my paper, that’s my dilemma sorted.
I’ve never voted Tory, can’t stand our local Tory MP, witnessed incredibly rude behaviour when not got public face on that I can’t forget. But they will get in again sadly.

Labour is a wasted vote locally and on the whole the thought of Abbot being the Home Secretary with her disgrace of a son last week is a definite no now.

Liberal is a local wasted vote locally and Ms Swinson changes her mind like the weather.

TooleyVanDooley · 12/12/2019 01:02

Probably Tory, still considering LibDem.

Corbyn is unelectable and dangerous

jennydubooj · 12/12/2019 01:04

Labour. Because I love Sinn Fein, Hezbollah, Hamas and think the Salisbury poisonings were a conspiracy against the Russia state.

Only joking of course, anyone voting Labour needs their heads examining.

DeRigueurMortis · 12/12/2019 01:05

Labour (reluctantly).

I'm not a fan of Corbyn but in my constituency it's the best tactical vote to stop the Right wing messed up Tory Party that has emerged under Johnson.

JoolsSchmools · 12/12/2019 07:49

Labour, I give a shit about people and can see past the Rupert Murdoch/Tory lies

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 12/12/2019 07:53

Labour

Life long Tory here but cannot stand to see the misery they are inflicting on people. Plus the NHS.

Would have voted Lib Dem but jo swinson and her twaw stance.

BlouseAndSkirt · 12/12/2019 07:53

Labour. Best hope of keeping Boris out and Brexit. If Labour win, can campaign for change if leader. If Boris wins, replacement leader will still be a Tory.

BlouseAndSkirt · 12/12/2019 07:54

Sorry: should be ‘stopping Brexit’ I am a remainer.
