I'm still so torn. In a single sentence can you say who you are voting for and why?

This election is more about voting against what you don't want rather than voting for what you do.

MsDFye · 11/12/2019 22:34

Labour. Because every morning I walk past human beings living in tents and sleeping in doorways. I used to see the occasional beggar in our city centre but never rough sleepers. Because there are at least three food banks in my neighbourhood where previously there wern't any. Nine years of Tory austerity has done this whilst doubling our national debt.

Sunshine1239 · 11/12/2019 22:38

Tory

Because labours manifesto figures are so pie in the sky I can’t belive anyone fell for them

As for NHS - yes it needs reform but ploughing cash after cash isn’t the solution

Half the issue is managing the funds they have - my mates a consultant Dr and every overtime shift he does he can get up to £1k for - that’s bloody ridiculous and bad management not just poor funding. The NHS wasn’t designed for the numbers accessing it. Plus I think the care it currently provides is over rated but that’s just my opinion

Oly4 · 11/12/2019 22:38

Labour, because I truly care about people less well off than me. And we’re in the top 5% of earners. I’m happy to pay more

LoveSatsumas · 11/12/2019 22:42

Tory.

SlayingDragons · 11/12/2019 22:53

Alliance because we need a third way here in NI - we need a future that isn’t simply a choice between orange and green.

I living elsewhere in UK I would vote Lib Dem’s. They aren’t perfect and I would have to turn a few blind eyes to be able to do it, but don‘t think I would have a choice

ChidiAnnaKendrick · 11/12/2019 22:54

Labour, because I’m not a sociopath.

Doggodogington · 11/12/2019 22:55

Labour, If conservatives were going to invest in the NHS, they would have done it in the 9 years they’ve been in power. Boris is untrustworthy.

sushinelove · 11/12/2019 22:59

SNP - Scotland now needs its independence

Chocolateandchats · 11/12/2019 23:01

Labour because the last few years under Tories have been awful. Sadly, I’m also voting more for who I don’t want and I think Labour are the ones who have a chance of getting them out.

Chickydoo · 11/12/2019 23:04

Tory
Just too many things about Corbyn I find worrying

GreatGallopingSarah · 11/12/2019 23:08

Reluctant Lib Dem - because I wholeheartedly disagree with Brexit but I’m reluctant because I am v concerned about their gender self-ID stance.

Threeminis · 11/12/2019 23:08

SNP. I want Scotland to be independent and be able to speak for itself.

Silvergreen · 11/12/2019 23:10

Labour. The conservatives have nothing to offer this country.

mamaduckbone · 11/12/2019 23:28

Labour, because the Conservatives have destroyed education and because Boris is a twat.

Mulledwineinajug · 11/12/2019 23:37

Labour, because they are the only chance of getting the Tories out and it terrifies me to think what might happen if this shit show continues.

SNP. I like their fair and compassionate policies, I want rid of Trident, I want Scotland to be in the EU like the majority in Scotland voted for, I want an independent Scotland, with our own media and news, our own voice and the dignity of being a normal independent country.

Abc123def · 11/12/2019 23:45

Labour

Because I don’t believe capitalism is working anymore, we’ve gone too far down the route and it needs balancing.

georgialondon · 11/12/2019 23:48

Lib Dem because I cannot stand Corbyn.

kevintheorangecarrot · 11/12/2019 23:49

I want to vote for labour but not when Corbyn is running it. So looks like it's going to Tories...

smugmug · 11/12/2019 23:53

Conservative
I value my freedom and don't need a nanny state to govern my every breath

workingclassgal · 11/12/2019 23:58

Tory
Only viable option for this country

LotteLupin · 12/12/2019 00:03

Lib Dem, because they've campaigned with a clear message, they are the only party treating the idea of Brexit for the serious issue that it is, and also the only major party not run by raving lunatics.

JKScot4 · 12/12/2019 00:03

@workingclassgal
Your name and opinion suggest you’re the dimmest of voter groups; working class + Tory 🤣🤣
Vote for the better of everyone not just yourself.
