I'm still so torn. In a single sentence can you say who you are voting for and why?

I’ve already voted by post and for the first time ever Ive voted Tory. DH witnessed an IRA terror attack and had friends who were hurt. There’s no way I’m voting for Corbyn! Libdems have Zero chance here and they’ve sold women’s rights down the river anyway.

CanICelebrate · 11/12/2019 21:39

Tory. Labours plans are not realistic and marginally prefer BJ to JC (and fear Nicola Sturgeon having power in a coalition).

kaytola · 11/12/2019 21:41

Labour - for the many, not the few.

squaresandsquares · 11/12/2019 21:45

Labour. So many to list but mainly Save NHS

MonkeyToesOfDoom · 11/12/2019 21:47

Labour.
Tory's have done little but beat the hell out of the poorest and youngest of society.

iswhois · 11/12/2019 21:49

Labour because I work for the public sector

LookToTreblesGoingTreblesGone · 11/12/2019 21:50

Tory. Because Jeremy Corbyn has said at the 11th hour that he'll amend the gender recognition act to make self identification legal. So sod women who were born with female sex organs.

Xiaoxiong · 11/12/2019 21:52

Lib Dem - with extreme reluctance as a tactical vote. Our local candidate is a nice guy even though the party kicked me out a year ago for my gender critical views. But our current Tory MP is the worst of the worst and useless both at a national and a local level. Labour are nowhere in this constituency thank god so I don't have to consider voting for them, though again the candidate is lovely and a parent at the DC's preschool.

AlwaysColdHands · 11/12/2019 21:52

Labour. Best chance at knocking Tories out in this seat.

someworksomeplay · 11/12/2019 21:53

I fucking hate the tories but I am going to vote for them because Corbyn is worse. How shit is that?
The only labour policy I agree with is to stop Diane Abbot saying anything during the run up to the election. Wise move.
There is a massive void in the uk political spectrum right now and labour are too shit to fill it. So sad.

Here's going for no majority, no one forming a minority government, Corbyn resigning and someone decent stepping forward.

user1494050295 · 11/12/2019 21:53

Lib Dem. was going to vote Tory. Cannot stand Corbyn. Don’t like the fact bono and cronies from same school and uni and don’t represent or empathise with the general population. Corbyn isn’t representative of modern labour and doesn’t even want the job

justdoityourself · 11/12/2019 21:57

@dirtyrottenscoundrel to get brexit done
Hahahahahahahaha. You do know it won't "get done" and will just drag on for fucking years leading to even more years of shit and uncertainty?

TheGlaikitRambler · 11/12/2019 21:58

SNP, as they are the only way for Scotland to be heard.

bookworm14 · 11/12/2019 21:59

Labour, because my local MP is a friend and a lovely, sensible non-Corbynite. I don’t feel great about it though, and if our labour candidate was anyone else I’d vote Lib Dem.

someworksomeplay · 11/12/2019 22:00

Sorry - that was more than one sentence.

Piplette · 11/12/2019 22:00

Lib Dem. Took one of those quizzes based on policy and 50% of the policies I supported were theirs.

I'm not a fan of Jo Swinson but then I'm not a fan of any of them.

SaDo12 · 11/12/2019 22:04

Labour - education and NHS

Ihavenoideawhereitis · 11/12/2019 22:07

Green. Because climate change and the imminent extinction of life on earth is a little more pressing than any of these superficial policies that the parties are arguing over.

Green - they don’t stand a chance here but, I can’t vote for either labour, conservative or Lib Dem as I don’t have any faith in them. The bigger picture of climate change will massively affect us all. They want to make misogyny illegal. Finally decided, after much soul searching it’s Green for me.

Aheraldangel · 11/12/2019 22:24

someworksomeplay how can you vote Tory if you hate them??! Surely you could vote libdem/Green/SNP/Plaid instead? Please check out how to vote tactically in your area. Save our NHS/schools/uni education etc etc.

JKScot4 · 11/12/2019 22:25

SNP, for a fair inclusive country

whatyournamebabee · 11/12/2019 22:26

Conservative - as I support Brexit and I don't usually vote, but want to show this. (Moved about, but always lived in a conservative safe seat areas anyway.)

FantailsFly · 11/12/2019 22:27

Labour - need a government that cares about how the benefits of economic growth are distributed. Plus IMO Tories have ruined the country with austerity, Brexit, and cynical populism.

Galvantula · 11/12/2019 22:27

SNP.

Won't vote Tory, no point voting labour, can't vote Lib Dem and snp mp seems ok guy.

(V against independence, but van hope)

Would rather that then not vote.
