I'm still so torn. In a single sentence can you say who you are voting for and why?

SNP tactical vote to keep Tories out of our seat

hamstersarse · 11/12/2019 20:26

Tory - first time ever. The hard left Labour Party don’t do it for me and the country needs some clear direction and stability which we won’t get with the blitheringly indecisive, weak yet stubborn Corbyn. He should have been gone a long time ago but grace isn’t his finest point. Also his plans are ludicrous and totally unrealistic - we’ve seen it all before and most normal people learned it didn’t work then and never has anywhere

AmIthechristmasfairy · 11/12/2019 20:29

Conservative as he's the only one with a chance of unseating the current SNP twat.

WiseUpJanetWeiss · 11/12/2019 20:30

Labour, with reservations. There’s no risk of Corbyn getting a majority. A hung parliament brings the possibility of seeing the back of Johnson, Corbyn and Brexit. And I like my remainer Labour MP.

To save the union

Surely a joke. The Union can’t survive Brexit.

Darklane · 11/12/2019 20:31

An Independent who supports Brexit.
Living in the Speaker’s constituency our choice is virtually nil, no main party candidates standing.

viques · 11/12/2019 20:32

I am voting for a person not a party. Voting for my sitting Mp because they are local, honest (really low expenses!) , care about the area and has been a really good MP for the area for a number of years.

Thank heavens I can vote for someone with a clear conscience, if I was somewhere with an MP who I didn't like/trust I don't know which way I would go.

Ivebeentohellanditscalledikea · 11/12/2019 20:33

I would probably vote labour but as they have no chance where I live I'm voting lib dem.

Eyewhisker · 11/12/2019 20:35

Libdem.

I voted for Cameron in 2010 but the conduct of the Johnson campaign, the repeated lies (fact check anyone?), the bullying and the threats and avoidance of scrutiny shows his arrogance for the people. Johnson is entitlement embodied and will ditch anyone to stay in power. The only positive is that if he is to get Brexit done, he will have to ditch the ERG and sign up to a Norway style option otherwise Brexit trade negotiations will drag on for years and years.

crookshanksthecat · 11/12/2019 20:37

Tory - slightly reluctantly as a remainer and certainly not a fan of Boris - because Corbyn is a anti-semitic, terrorist sympathiser who would bankrupt the country given the chance (and I have more than two brain cells and understand money doesn't grow on trees).

yasle · 11/12/2019 20:41

Nobody - all cunts.

Mummug · 11/12/2019 20:44

SNP
Scottish Independence.

marble11 · 11/12/2019 20:46

Labour because I care about others and I am not a cunt.

AnnaFiveTowns · 11/12/2019 20:52

Labour. For obvious reasons.

mixtap · 11/12/2019 20:53

Tory, because Corbyn and McDonnell are dim-witted fantasists who still believe Marxism works. They will bankrupt the country.

TheABC · 11/12/2019 20:53

Labour. Tactical vote to get Brexit Done. Grin

More seriously, I want a working NHS and a school system for my kids.

CottonSock · 11/12/2019 20:57

Labour as I did a policy check and like my MP. Not very happy about it though

Fifteenthnamechange · 11/12/2019 21:04

Labour. For better public services & a more equal society

MaudBaileysGreenTurban · 11/12/2019 21:06

Labour, because I work daily across both education and the NHS and neither can cope with another 5 years of Tory government.

Trottersindependenttraders · 11/12/2019 21:18

Reluctantly Labour, in a bit to reduce Johnson’s majority. I’m no fan of Corbyn or his policies but Warrington South is my constituency and it’s a marginal so lending my vote to Labour this time.

Fouroutoffour · 11/12/2019 21:27

Labour. Our constituency went from Tory to Labour in 2017 and is a marginal. I like the incumbent's policies. As a currently burnt out dual national teacher with a child that has used the NHS a lot I think we need more money for education and healthcare, and to remain.

Fishcakey · 11/12/2019 21:28

Tory. There is no money to support Labours promises and a return to 1970s Britain scares me.

NextdoorNeighbourIsATwat · 11/12/2019 21:32

Conservative. Because the UK's businesses need support.

BrokenLink · 11/12/2019 21:32

Labourm Because I work in the NHS and have seen the devastation to services from the relentless Tory cuts. The increasingly visible signs of poverty everywhere makes me frightened and sad. I don't believe Boris cares and I don't trust a man who treats women as he appears to in his private life.

Autumnchill · 11/12/2019 21:34

Tory. Best of a bad bunch

SabineSchmetterling · 11/12/2019 21:34

Labour. I’m in a constituency that won’t be won by anyone but Labour or the Tories. It’s generally a labour constituency but the Tories got in here in 2010 before reverting back to Labour in 2015. I’m not sure I’m happy with any of the main parties right now but won’t risk the Tories winning this seat back by spoiling a ballot or voting for the Greens.
