Even more Trump.

There may be 4 years of this.
Try to keep it lighthearted and not snide, please.
It's Christmas.

Of course not all jokes, some bullying because that is what Trump does. He threatens, he bullies and he also jokes. That is how he is

And is that really acceptable to you, claig, in relation to mocking disabled people, being offensive to the parents of a Muslim veteran, saying that a Judge can't be impartial because he is of Mexican extraction, and talking about grabbing women by the genitals?

Megatherium · 03/01/2017 10:37

I notice you try to win an argument with an attempt at moral high ground

Is that worse than trying to win an argument by ad hominem attacks?

claig · 03/01/2017 10:38

'Would you like me to explain what taking the moral high ground means?'

No thanks. You'd only get it wrong and embarrass yourself and waste everyone's time

Megatherium · 03/01/2017 10:41

claig, how come you haven't got time to explain the Mexican judge thing but you do have time to produce that long post at 10.28?

DarthPlagueis · 03/01/2017 10:42

But you're not the oracle.

You called two binary votes the right way, and both of them were very close, might as well have called a coin toss.

Megatherium · 03/01/2017 10:43

No thanks. You'd only get it wrong and embarrass yourself and waste everyone's time

I take it you fully meant to be that rude. claig? Would you care to remind yourself of the rules on personal attacks?

claig · 03/01/2017 10:43

'And is that really acceptable to you, claig, in relation to mocking disabled people, being offensive to the parents of a Muslim veteran, saying that a Judge can't be impartial because he is of Mexican extraction, and talking about grabbing women by the genitals?'

Trump bullies people. This is teh real world, not the Guardian or a Blairite Progress convention where the leading lights of the 172 are in full flow fulminating and flaling at imaginary windmills.

Trump is a bully, he will bully the elites like they have never been bullied before. "It is wot it is".

I have said I am unsure about the mocking of the reporter, I didn't like it and I wouldn't have done it, but I am unsure that Trump meant it in teh way the media portray.

The thing about Khan and the Mexican judge was political and there are lots of reasons behind what happened and how teh Democrats tried to stitch Trump up. It is a long subject, some of which we discussed at the time on threads that go way back.

'talking about grabbing women by the genitals'

No one supported that and Trump apologised. He didn't bomb Iraqi citizens or support Jihadis in Syria or invade Libya and he apologised.

Megatherium · 03/01/2017 10:45

So how does bullying disabled reporters, the parents of a Moslem veteran, and women equate to bullying the elite, claig?

DarthPlagueis · 03/01/2017 10:45

Of course Claig has the time, all day, every day on here for months on end.

She just can't justify it.

It will have been a "joke".

BertrandRussell · 03/01/2017 10:45

I wasn't actually making the offer to you, claig. Or at least, I didn't think I was.

DarthPlagueis · 03/01/2017 10:46

He won't bully the elite, he's just appointed them to his cabinet.

He is the elite, he's a stooge.

claig · 03/01/2017 10:46

'how come you haven't got time to explain the Mexican judge thing but you do have time to produce that long post at 10.28?'

Because the Mexican judge thing is a huge and complicated and fascinating political subject that will require links to explain in detail. You won't have heard any of it on the BBC, I guarantee you. But I haven't got time to go through all that only to receive snide remarks from Brussels at the end of explaining what it was really all about.

'So how does bullying disabled reporters, the parents of a Moslem veteran, and women equate to bullying the elite, claig?'

Trump will bully anyone who attacks him. That is how he is.

When the Democrats put Khan up at their Convention to attack Trump, Khan and the Democrat handlers knew very well that Trump would come after them. That is how Trump rolls. He says that is how he will be when he is in charge and anyone attacks America too. The world elite know what Trump is like and that is why they won't try any tricks on him.

DarthPlagueis · 03/01/2017 10:52

See that's why he's not a good person to be President.

He's a week little bully boy with very thin skin, can dish it out but not take it.

He won't bully the elite, he is the elite, he's conned you.

DarthPlagueis · 03/01/2017 10:54

"But I haven't got time to go through all that only to receive snide remarks from Brussels at the end of explaining what it was really all about."

Its because you can't justify it, and you show that in your remarks regarding Bertrand following it. You make snide attacks all the time.

Your arguments are weak.

Inkanta · 03/01/2017 10:55

'He's a week little bully boy with very thin skin, can dish it out but not take it.'

Of for goodness sakes!

DarthPlagueis · 03/01/2017 10:57

LOL but its only a joke inkanta!

In reality I do think its a worry, that the person who is in the most powerful office in the world has such thin skin and fails to take criticism well.

Being in high office means that you get scrutiny of all of your actions, it means your past in fair game, it means its ok to mock you. If every time something like that happens he responds with aggression and derision we are in for a very rocky time.

Inkanta · 03/01/2017 10:57

'Its because you can't justify it, and you show that in your remarks regarding Bertrand following it. You make snide attacks all the time.'

Says you Darth! Where on earth did you come from guns a blazing - around Christmas time!?

claig · 03/01/2017 10:59

'You make snide attacks all the time. '

Only when deserved, when Brussels is patronising by saying

'Would you like me to explain what taking the moral high ground means?'

Darth that's exactly what Lweji has been saying over and over again since TRUMP 1.

BertrandRussell · 03/01/2017 11:00

" But I haven't got time to go through all that only to receive snide remarks from Brussels at the end of explaining what it was really all about"

I haven't said anything snide at all.

But if you explain why the remarks about the Mexican judge were justifiable I promise not to comment at all.

DarthPlagueis · 03/01/2017 11:02

Well, like Trump Claig, if you dish it out I'd learn to take it well.

I for example am brainwashed by the BBC and Guardain according to you.

Under the spreading chestnut tree...

claig · 03/01/2017 11:06

'But if you explain why the remarks about the Mexican judge were justifiable I promise not to comment at all.'

It is a huge subject, it will require links etc. Too long to get into. Democrat funding, support, set up, border policy, the Wall etc etc Too long to get into, but you can google it and follow all the links and see why Trump attacked the judge and what was really behind it

OP posts:
DarthPlagueis · 03/01/2017 11:08

But you comment on huge subjects and provide links all the time!

You can't defend it.

claig · 03/01/2017 11:10

Same with Khan. Democrat set up at their Convention to cast Trump in a bad light over muslim policy etc. on primetime TV followed by rigged polls where Hillary then jumped about 10 points above Trump. BBC and all the teams had a field day over Khan, Trump on the back foot, but hit back. Usual political tricks. Lots more about Khan, google links, sharia etc etc Trump's people know the Democrats' game
