You go on FWR a lot. You've seen the hostility towards men there

SouthallGirl · 15/12/2016 21:22

Sadly, most of his appointments have been from dire to downright dangerous

When you want to bring about change for the better, you appoint the meanest and the baddest motherf**rs because you have a mountain to climb. The old mandarins embedded in the White House and various govt agencies have to be neutralised, or at least short-circuited.

Lweji · 15/12/2016 21:24

When I wrote dangerous I didn't mean mean or bad ass. I meant it as likely to damage the US.

Lweji · 15/12/2016 21:25

South, tell me which appointment seems to you like a good one to drain the Washington swamp.

SouthallGirl · 15/12/2016 21:28

it is to remain sane in the face of some truly insane posts that otherwise just make me shake my head in disbelief

Right on queue, Lweji! Was expecting it, totally textbook.

Kaija · 15/12/2016 21:32

"If Clinton had got in, I would not be on MN. But if DT can bring about even a quarter of what of what he spoke of, that would be a job well done."

Given that he's given wild and contradictory statements on every subject that's a pretty optimistic statement. Which quarter were you hoping for? Punishing women for having abortions? Banning Muslims from the country? Building a wall and making Mexicans pay for it?

Lweji · 15/12/2016 21:32

I may be right on cue, but it's the most honest truth.

Missswatch · 15/12/2016 21:33

Which quarter were you hoping for? Punishing women for having abortions? Banning Muslims from the country? Building a wall and making Mexicans pay for it?

Strange how you decide to quote the negatives

OhYouBadBadKitten · 15/12/2016 21:34

missswatch, your logical thought process is outstanding.

Roussette · 15/12/2016 21:35

It's hardly surprising is it southall given Trump's campaign. Wild accusations and promises, lies, flip flopping on everything.

BTW it's right on cue ... besides there is a ghastly predictability about many of the posts from the pro-Trumpers on here

Missswatch · 15/12/2016 21:35

Thank you bad kitten. Or should I call you Hello Kitty?

claig · 15/12/2016 21:36

'If Clinton had got in, I would not be on MN. But if DT can bring about even a quarter of what of what he spoke of, that would be a job well done.'

Yes but you have to understand that this is a complete revolution and most people never saw it coming and fear it (partly due to the biased media coverage whose bosses really do fear it). The shock is great because it is North Korean style brainwashing carried out by the media and the result has shattered all the old certainties and entitlements. Tony Blair has probably been triggered by it, he doesn't "understand" it, and lots of people feel like he does.

It is "all the politically correct people out, all the unpolitically correct people in" and many people (and obviously Blairites) struggle to adjust to the new reality of the people's revolution.

It is a bouleversement, a complete upheaval, a complete revolution. Elites are triggered.

It is on the scale of North Korean mourning for elites, Blairites, the BBC, the Guardian, Oxbridge teams and many, many people.

Missswatch has mentioned videos on youtube of liberals crying, in tears and breakdown at the result. If Clinton had won, Trump fans would not have been in tears, because we are made of sterner stuff, we are not Blairites. "It is wot it is", Blairites are what they are and many liberals are in tears at the revolucion.

"PepsiCo CEO: People Crying, Asking if They're Safe Under Trump

The head of PepsiCo said Thursday her employees are in tears over Donald Trump's victory in the presidential election, and people are asking if they'll be safe.

CEO Indra Nooyi, a supporter of Democrat Hillary Clinton, said she has fielded a lot of questions since Wednesday.

"I had to answer a lot of questions, from my daughters, from my employees, they were all in mourning," Nooyi said at a conference, reports CNBC. "Our employees are all crying, and the question that they are asking, especially those that are not white: 'Are we safe?' Women are asking, 'Are we safe?' LGBT people are asking, 'Are we safe?' I never thought I'd have had to answer those questions."

I wonder what it is that the anti-PC brigade on here are dying to say that they are currently fearfully holding back on until the revolution (of old white men) comes to fruition.

claig · 15/12/2016 21:42

There are youtube videos comparing the tears of liberals over the Trump landslide to North Korean tears. I won't link to them because they are not nice, but they are triggered by the revolucion.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 15/12/2016 21:42

sorry, it was an attempt at sarcasm, I don't think I'm very good at it!

SouthallGirl · 15/12/2016 21:42

I noticed that a few pages back one of you was laughing about MMR. Interesting de Niro's own son became autistic soon after the MMR jab. Maybe another coincidence. He made a film that was to be shown at Tribeca but pulled it at the last minute because too controversial.

If you recall, Wakefield found vaccine-strain measles virus in the gut of measles-vaccinated children with autism and bowel disease. It should never hv been there. As far as I know, no one has offered a good explanation why it was there.

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3537962/Let-s-truth-Robert-Niro-says-autistic-son-changed-overnight-MMR-jab-insists-isn-t-anti-vaccine-just-pro-safe-vaccines.html

Lweji · 15/12/2016 21:42

Those were key points of Trump campaign. But they are negatives?
Why vote for him?

Ok, possible positive points:
Draining the swamp - who does he have to do it? IIRC a former lobbyist.
Better foreign policy - CEO of Exxon Mobile. Is that really a good choice?
More jobs - he's done a tiny deal, lied about the extent of it, gave benefits instead of playing hard as promised. It's not looking that great
Improve life for workers - appoints employer with a dire record
Stop the divisions - and then he continues the twitter war

Apologies for not feeling optimistic.

Missswatch · 15/12/2016 21:44

Why are they crying and having breakdowns? Simple. For too long we have lived in 'everyone gets a trophy' land. The middle class liberals are coddled and naive. Their crashhelmet and safety harness must come off along with their rose-tinted VR glasses. There is enough evidence of the sheltered middle class here on MN. Time to be redpilled and wake up

Lweji · 15/12/2016 21:45

FFS, South, you're diverting with autism and MMR now? That Wakefield study has been comprehensively discredited and there's loads of evidence showing no link at all between MMR and autism.
And then I'm not supposed to talk about insane posts? Seriously!

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 15/12/2016 21:46

I think trump is a twat

I think he is bad for america...possibly the world

I think he is a dangerous child

I used to like him on the apprentice though Smile

How that makes me anti GB and anti democracy i dont know...not that it matters Grin

Hey claig Smile

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 15/12/2016 21:47

I did honestly love this bit miss

Strange how you decide to quote the negatives

claig · 15/12/2016 21:49

The De Niro film was called "Vaxxed".

OP posts:
Roussette · 15/12/2016 21:49

Yes rufus apparently if we aren't pro Trump we hate GB. Good one that...

Msss your posts are hilarious

Missswatch · 15/12/2016 21:50

Kaija there are many things we cannot say here. It is easy for over 90% of MNers to get 'triggered' and demand we get banned. Happens all the time

Lweji · 15/12/2016 21:52

You seem worried Misss.
Have you been banned before?
