First the protests, then a recount now Russian hackers

If theym tables were turned the Hillary supporters would be up in arms

Missswatch · 15/12/2016 18:23

the tables

Dammit didn't sleep till 3am. Rogue One screening

Roussette · 15/12/2016 18:24

claig we've heard it all before.

Petrified
Elites
The people
Meltdown
Servants
spin overdrive
Historical

Just saying the same stuff again and again doesn't mean it's going to work

claig · 15/12/2016 18:27

'First the protests, then a recount now Russian hackers'

Yes, Missswatch. The first two failed, now they only have the Electors in the Electoral College left. Their media is spinning about how Putin stole it for Trump. The elites are desperate. Will they beat Trump at ths late stage?

Let's hope not. Let's hope Trump wins.

OP posts:
Missswatch · 15/12/2016 18:29

Funny thing. If they prevent Trump from going in office it goes against all the freedom they stand for

claig · 15/12/2016 18:38

'Funny thing. If they prevent Trump from going in office it goes against all the freedom they stand for'

Absolutely, but they are desperate, everything they have worked for for decades is at stake, all their plans for humanity have been torn up by Trump and "America First" and Brexit. They have been defeated.

That is why they are screaming "fake news" because no one believes their news. The next President of the United States called the mainstream media "a room full of liars". It doesn't get more historic than this. It has never happend before and never will again.

We are close to Big Brother now as they cry "fake news" and have a neo-McCarthyism which accuses Trump, the next President of the United States, and his team, of being stooges for Putin and the Russians.

They big up the bogeyman Putin when Russia is absolutely nothing compared to the United States and when Russia's entire economy is only the size of Italy's and when Trump's meeting with the US "tech titans" yesterday is a meeting of power, innovation and influence that the Russians have nothing the like of and never will.

But the elites are desperate because as Trump said about the elites in his famous speech

"our movement represents an existential threat like they have never seen"

It is the people vs the elites and the people won. 2016 will live on in history as the year the people beat the elites all over the world - with Brexit and now Trump.

This video was put together by the Reddit users at TheDonald and Trump later used most of the video himself in his final advert.

Trump 2016 was a people's movement, helped by Reddit, twitter and the non-mainstream media. That is why the elites call so much of teh non-mainstream media "fake news" because they don't control it and their spin no longer works on the people.

I will post the video again for any lurkers or new readers because it sums up what Trump 2016 was really all about and explains why the elites are so scared of Trump. This is historic. The world has never seen anything like it.

If Trump had an ounce of presidential responsibility and sense, he would (a) not have mentioned her on Twitter and (b) would have tweeted again the second any idiot posted her contact details and said that no follower of his should contact her. But what a surprise, he did neither of those things.

This. Very much.
But he enjoys the reactions to his tweets. Or simply doesn't care about, ahem, the people the affect.

claig · 15/12/2016 20:07

The winning continues. Love Monica Crowley. She is the best.

"Monica Crowley joining Trump administration

President-elect Donald Trump announced Thursday that Monica Crowley will have a national security role in his incoming administration.

Crowley will serve as senior director of strategic communications for the National Security Council, the Trump transition team said in a statement.

Top national security adviser retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn said he is "honored" to have Crowley join the team, along with retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, who will serve as the council's chief of staff."

thehill.com/media/310580-monica-crowley-joining-trump-administration

As the woman interviewed by CNN in Reno Nevada on a video clip shown some 10 or 15 threads ago said, without any hesitation whatsoever, when asked what she wanted of a Trump adminsitration,

"all the politically correct people out, all the unpolitically correct people in"

OP posts:
Ontopofthesunset · 15/12/2016 20:10

Don't you think that was a rather immature comment by that interviewee, Claig? So it's enough just to be politically incorrect, rather than, God forbid, politically competent. Of course I understand just like Humpty Dumpty you can spin 'politically correct' to mean anything you want it to mean just so long as you can stand by your man.

Lweji · 15/12/2016 20:13

So, both establishment and elite.

"In addition to her experience as a foreign policy assistant to Nixon and her work in the media since, Crowley boasts a Ph.D. in international affairs from Columbia University."

Lweji · 15/12/2016 20:14

But at least she does have some qualifications, unlike some of the choices.

claig · 15/12/2016 20:16

"Don't you think that was a rather immature comment by that interviewee, Claig? So it's enough just to be politically incorrect, rather than, God forbid, politically competent."

That was her opinion. She equated politically incorrect with politically competent and I can understand her point. It was a legendary video clip but I can't find it easily on youtube any more. Trump fans cheered her on.

'But at least she does have some qualifications, unlike some of the choices.'

She is top class. These are the people Trump fans want.

OP posts:
Lweji · 15/12/2016 20:20

Ah, I see why she was chosen:

Monica Crowley ✔ @MonicaCrowley
At the Berlin Wall last week. Walls work.
3:38 PM - 5 Oct 2015

On a scale of dumb to stupid, that would be a clueless.

I hope she hasn't plagiarised her PhD thesis.

Ontopofthesunset · 15/12/2016 20:34

Walls work for a while and then they get knocked down, I suppose she meant, since, y'know, it was the Berlin Wall and all. But whadda I know? I ain't never advised no Nixon on nothin' (now he was an honourable man!) and I ain't never been nowhere near no Colombeeya. But if she's good enough for Donald, hell, she's good enough for me. She ain't really, really stupid or part of the elite or... Oh, wait.

claig · 15/12/2016 20:35

This just gets better and better. Love Kimberley Guilfoyle, she is the best. These are the people Trump fans want.

"Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle is contender for Trump press secretary"

www.politico.com/story/2016/12/press-secretary-kimberly-guilfoyle-232658

What happened to Laura Ingraham? She is fantastic too.

Trump's team is top notch.

"all the politically correct people out, all the unpolitically correct people in"

The revolution continues. Tony Blair no longer "understands" what is happening in politics.

OP posts:
Missswatch · 15/12/2016 20:38

Political correctness should go. People are sick of censorship

Lweji · 15/12/2016 20:40

I'm surprised great Trump fan Sarah Palin isn't being considered for anything.
And he's dropping poor Kellyanne Conway?

BertrandRussell · 15/12/2016 20:40

"Political correctness should go. People are sick of censorship"

Talk to me about this censorship.....

Lweji · 15/12/2016 20:40

People are sick of censorship

Except when it's by Trump, apparently.

Funny that.

SouthallGirl · 15/12/2016 20:40

"When people moan about political correctness, it's usually because they want to be free to say racist things and relegate those nasty black, gay and disable people to their proper places, i.e. where they won't intrude on middle class white men's lives."

Being a white. middle class bloke seems to be the latest insult by the anti-West people on here. You do know dont you, that there are black, gay and disabled white men in the middle class bracket too?

This thread is composed of too many snidey, West-hating people, posting under the guise of being simply anti-Trump (as he's currently topical), but essentially they hate GB and they hate the West.

Ontopofthesunset · 15/12/2016 20:43

Why do you keep repeating the same phrases over and over, claig? Is it some kind of memory issue? Do you forget what you have said? Or do you think that repeating untruths will somehow cause them to become true or that repeating platitudes will somehow endow them with meaning? Who cares about what Tony Blair said and why do you keep telling us?

Lweji · 15/12/2016 20:43

BTW, the comments to that Twitter Berlin Wall comment, are well worth reading.

claig · 15/12/2016 20:43

To be fair Sarah Palin is not the brightest and she recently criticised Trump for "crony capitalism" over the Carrier job saving deal which was a big no no for her. She is great because she is not politically correct, but she may not have some of the other attributes needed to be in the Trump Team, I am not sure.

Kellyanne Conway turned down a job, can't remember which role it was. She will still work for the Trump Revolution but outside the team.
