It certainly is. I literally have no idea what you and Claig are talking about!

Damn you. You made me LOL Blush in the bus.

Missswatch · 15/12/2016 17:15

So online abuse of a girl is bad but whiny liberals being intolerant and causing damage at protests is ok? Wow

claig · 15/12/2016 17:15

'"I had volunteered for the campaign because I think it's important to volunteer for people you don't necessarily agree with,'

Grin

This sounds like she may have been advised by a spinner for Tony Blair.

"I disagree with everything Nigel Farage stands for and says, but I think it is important to volunteer for him. I am New Labour, so I would never ever pose a planted question. I am not an MP"

'And no, Trump doesn't get to publicise a young girls' contact details and disclaim all responsibility for the death and rape threats that follow.'

Stop lying, you are starting to sound like the BBC. Trump didn't publicise her contact details and never disclaimed responsibility for anything.

OP posts:
Roussette · 15/12/2016 17:22

Yes, online abuse (which included death and rape threats) of a young girl is bad Misss in case you didn't know. There's no excuse.

Roussette · 15/12/2016 17:26

You're right claig. He just tweeted who she was an intern for like this "The arrogant young woman who questioned me in such a nasty fashion yesterday was a Jeb staffer,”

Light the touch paper and let the sheep finish the job off.

That tweet started the ball rolling and from there it was picked up and she gets this

One person told her they wished they “could fing punch you in the face” and “stomp your head on the curb and urinate in your bloodied mouth and I know where you live, so watch your fing back punk”.

Missswatch · 15/12/2016 17:29

Of course the liberals are prime examples of outstanding good behaviour eh Roussette?

Roussette · 15/12/2016 17:30

That, by the way, was just one out of thousands. Whilst The Trump rubs his small hands in glee that the young girl who dared question him and make him look stupid at his own rally has had her comeuppance. And his supporters feel proud that they've done what the Donald started.

Very presidential.

(have decided to model my new mode of writing on claigs - I have no idea if the Donald was rubbing his hands in glee but we have, after all, been subjected to this sort of nonsense for a very long time now, so thought I might try it Grin)

"Busted ! CNN Uses Jeb Bush Staffer Planted In Audience To Frame Donald Trump Narrative/Hit Job….
...
Within minutes of her scripted performance at the event, the producers of CNN were quickly editing soundbites and framing a narrative. That story was pushed into the media stream within hours. CNN’s Jeanne Moos was the delivery vehicle for the a hit piece.
...
However, as previously noted, it didn’t take long to discover that Lauren Batchelder was not just an ordinary audience member, she is actually a current staffer for Senator Kelly Ayotte [Republican and anti Trump] and also working in New Hampshire on behalf of the Jeb Bush 2016 campaign.

Batchelder’s LinkedIn profile shows she is a Jeb Bush For President 2016 staffer."

theconservativetreehouse.com/2015/10/13/busted-cnn-uses-jeb-bush-staffer-planted-in-audience-to-frame-donald-trump-narrativehit-job/

One of her tweets was

"I love you Jeb. I'm sorry you have to be next to Trump"

OP posts:
Roussette · 15/12/2016 17:33

None of that says she was a plant claig. Try as you might, No. She went to the Rally under her own steam

claig · 15/12/2016 17:34

"I love you Jeb" Grin

Jeb. Grin

This is worse than Blair.

DeepanKrispanEven · 15/12/2016 17:36

claig, did Trump at any point stop his followers from publicising the girl's personal details or issuing threats against her? Might it ever have occurred to him that tweeting what he did would cause them to issue those threats? If so, he's 100% responsible. And if not, he's stupid.

Missswatch, the "Look over there" excuse never works. Do you claim that threatening to stomp on a girl's head and urinate in her bloodied mouth is absolutely fine, just because you can point to a liberal who's said something nasty?

DeepanKrispanEven · 15/12/2016 17:38

Clearly Trump staffers aren't allowed to think for themselves, therefore they assume that no other politician's staffer can conceivably make any decisions off their own bat.

claig · 15/12/2016 17:38

Another one of her tweets

"JebBush best boss ever. Go go governor!"

and she said (possibly advised by a Blairite) that "I am a Democrat" Grin

OP posts:
claig · 15/12/2016 17:41

'did Trump at any point stop his followers from publicising the girl's personal details or issuing threats against her?'

How can Trump control Americans on twitter or facebook and elite plants on twitter? Twitter was thinking of banning him from twitter.

OP posts:
Roussette · 15/12/2016 17:43

Whatever her position is in regard to Jeb, as I said above the Donald lit the touchpaper, stood back and let it happen and would be pleased that a young girl got her comeuppance.

DeepanKrispanEven · 15/12/2016 17:46

If Trump had an ounce of presidential responsibility and sense, he would (a) not have mentioned her on Twitter and (b) would have tweeted again the second any idiot posted her contact details and said that no follower of his should contact her. But what a surprise, he did neither of those things.

claig · 15/12/2016 18:04

Thanks, Missswatch Smile

Twitter wouldn't allow Trump's team to have an emoji of CrookedHillary with money bags etc Grin

Twitter wasn't invited to the meeting of "tech giants" because the conference table was too small Smile

OP posts:
DeepanKrispanEven · 15/12/2016 18:06

So how did Twitter compel Trump to use their facility in order to expose a young girl to vile threats from his followers, claig?

Missswatch · 15/12/2016 18:10

Twitter loves censorship. They banned Milo Yiannopoulos

claig · 15/12/2016 18:10

The news about her was already all over the internet and twitter and facebook. Trump just tweeted that she was a Jeb Bush plant for any of his own twitter followers who weren't aware f it and were watching CNN and the BBC playing her question on TV on every news broadcast while Jeb and his team were laughing their heads off thinking that they had done Trump up like a kipper.

But the best-laid plans of elites, Jeb and men often go awry

Cushty, as Del Boy would say.

OP posts:
Roussette · 15/12/2016 18:13

Given the unquestioning cult like worship Trump followers show to him, it's hardly surprising that his angry tweet sparked something. Without that, it would've probably died a death.

claig · 15/12/2016 18:20

This was the most important election in the most important, powerful country in the world and the entire world elite and everyone of their servant class and all of their "teams" were on the ropes because of one outsider, Trump, and his Trump fans (disgracefully called the Deplorables by servants of the elites). And some of them may face jail when Trump gets in.

Dirty tricks is what hapens in these situations. Plants are just the half of it. Wikileaks has the rest. Trump beat them and they are petrified because he could end all of their plans for humanity - austerity, carbon taxes, climate change stories, TTIP, TPP, free trade deals, MidEast wars and war with Russia, globalisation and political correctness.

Trump won and all their plans for the people are over. However, they are still trying to stop Trump, there is talk of them trying to get enough electors to flip their votes under the Russian hacking scare, so they may still win and enact all of their plans for humanity.

This is the most historic political event ever. Even the teams on the Guardian said "it is nothing short of a revolution", the biggest upset in the US's 240 year history. It doesn't get bigger and more important than what we are witnessing. Why do you think the BBC and Guardian are in such meltdown and spin overdrive?
