So Trump should support a full recount.

But his own court submission opposing a recount in Michigan says there was no fraudulent activity.

He's a liar.

claig · 06/12/2016 17:31

"Any evidence?"

Trump has it. I am not privy to it.

OP posts:
InformalRoman · 06/12/2016 17:34

Trump pointed out to the media that if illegal voters had been excluded, Trump would have easily won the popular vote too.

Evidence for that statement please?

InformalRoman · 06/12/2016 17:35

Ah, that's because there isn't any evidence.

claig · 06/12/2016 17:40

'Ah, that's because there isn't any evidence.'

Are you saying that Trump, the 45th President of the United States, is a liar?

Not even the Chinese Communist Party leaders would say something like that.

OP posts:
Kaija · 06/12/2016 17:45

There is no evidence. The source was a single tweet from a Trump supporter. That's it,

Kaija · 06/12/2016 17:45

2.65 million now.

InformalRoman · 06/12/2016 17:54

Are you saying that Trump, the 45th President of the United States, is a liar?

He's not the President, and at the very least it's proven that Trump has issues with the truth.

Kaija · 06/12/2016 17:55

Trump is actually something a bit worse than a liar. It's not just that he bends the truth promote himself or get himself out of trouble. It's that he literally says whatever is most immediately expedient at any given time, with no reference to reality, and regardless of whether he has previously and publicly said the exact opposite. Trump's words have no connection to facts at all, only to what he thinks will give him the next easy win. Climate change is real when it threatens his golf course. It is not real when he wants to win the support of deniers or oil companies. It's the quick sale all the time with no regard for the consequences.

Late to the party so apologies if you posted this claig

m.townhall.com/tipsheet/leahbarkoukis/2016/12/06/trump-picks-up-dozens-of-votes-in-wisconsin-recount-n2255792

I'm gonna gloat for a while :)

Kaija · 06/12/2016 18:11

That's some slim pickings for you there, but if it makes you happy there's nothing wrong with that.

time4chocolate · 06/12/2016 18:12

I will second what Rorty said on page 8 Wine for Claig.

Excellent Trump threads and we are indeed in exciting/interesting political times both here, in Europe and across the pond - bring it on!! Smile

Missswatch · 06/12/2016 18:18

No brakes on the Trump Train

grace9892 · 06/12/2016 18:39

I'm an American and I feel awful for everyone back home. Trump proving that nasty can win. It's horrible. He looked like he was shitting himself when he met w Obama. Good.

Kaija · 06/12/2016 18:49

"2.64 m - then it's time to reorganise the electoral college, not bang on and on about this result. I doubt that this is the first time the guy with fewer votes won an election."

Never by anything like as big a margin. Last time was 2000 when Al Gore got 500,000 more votes than George W. Last time before that was 1888.

I'll make a deal with you. As soon as Trumpers stop banging on with the "people's revolution" bullshit, I'll stop banging on about the popular vote.

Lweji · 06/12/2016 18:51

Are you saying that Trump, the 45th President of the United States, is a liar?

Definitely yes. Of all the Presidential candidates he told the most lies. In fact, almost everything he said wasn't true.

Kaija · 06/12/2016 18:59

Open letter from scientists to Trump on climate change:

claig · 06/12/2016 19:18

Thanks, time4chocolate Wine Very interesting times

Thanks, Missswatch, I hadn't seen that news. No brakes on the Trump Train.

As the Stump for Trump Sisters always say

"Get on the Trump Train or get the hell outta the way"

The Trump Train is squashing these salty liberals

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 06/12/2016 19:57

i am with lewji

Trump tells lies

Abso-fucking-lutley

Although to be fair most politicians do Grin

BertrandRussell · 06/12/2016 20:18

Trump gained a couple of dozen extra votes in Wisconsin. Not sure why that's a triumph. Doesn't explain Clinton's 2.6m majority..................

Missswatch · 06/12/2016 20:32

2.6m means nothing. Trump still won :)

Kaija · 06/12/2016 20:37

It's the voice of 2.6 million people. I thought you Trumpers were all for the people.

BertrandRussell · 06/12/2016 20:39

"2.6m means nothing. Trump still won smile"
Of course. But he would be foolish to ignore the fact that he got significantly fewer votes than his opponent.

Missswatch · 06/12/2016 20:48

Which is why it'd be best to do a good job
