RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 29/10/2016 22:23

If i dont come on again its because i am in bed or watching suicide squad (i am watching suicide squad Grin)

Have a good night

WinchesterWoman · 29/10/2016 22:39

No I can't
Working the next day

Because of your posting on this thread I have been trying to put myself on the #nevertrump mindset that would make me so opposed I would overlook some very bad points on the other side. So I thought who would do that for me. Like, Kim kardashian? Or Alan sugar? Anyway the one I came up with was Jeremy hardy. I can't stand him. I would vote for Hillary Clinton over Jeremy hardy (maybe). I don't know it's a tough one.

It's like the worst ever game of shag or die.

WinchesterWoman · 29/10/2016 22:39

Goodnight rigid and all. I don't know what suicide squad is but enjoySmile

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 29/10/2016 22:49

It's like the worst ever game of shag or die.

Absolutely agree Grin

And in your game ???

it would still be clinton Wink

Night

Lweji · 29/10/2016 22:49

I would move away from thinking it's another 'sex guilt by association' issue.

I don't think it's a sex by association done by the FBI.

At least a pp on this thread did, though, which is what I responded to.

claig · 29/10/2016 22:50

Yes, I will try and stay up for the historic result. I stayed uo for Brexit and watched Keith Vaz almost in tears when the BBC broke the people's choice to him, and Trump will dwarf Brexit. Elites across the world will be in tears as they start to run as fast as they can and when they break a Trump victory to the BBC, there will be wailing like was only ever heard in Biblical days. The elites would rather face the Last Judgement than what Trump will do to the lot of them worldwide.

Long live the people's revolution. Grin

As Camille Paglia says

"Paglia says she has absolutely no idea how the election will go: ‘But people want change and they’re sick of the establishment — so you get this great popular surge, like you had one as well… This idea that Trump represents such a threat to western civilisation — it’s often predicted about presidents and nothing ever happens — yet if Trump wins it will be an amazing moment of change because it would destroy the power structure of the Republican party, the power structure of the Democratic party and destroy the power of the media. It would be an incredible release of energy… at a moment of international tension and crisis.’

All of a sudden, the professor seems excited. Perhaps, like all radicals in pursuit of the truth, Paglia is still hoping the revolution will come."

As ToujeoQueen told us a while back "Michael Moore in Trumpland" is just about to start on Channel 4. It is pro Hillary, but he has to try and sway Trump voters in order to help the Democrats and therefore has to tell some truths.

WinchesterWoman · 29/10/2016 23:40

You need a column claig. Get yourself a column.

Lweji · 30/10/2016 06:41

Copy and pasting, a column writer don't make.

Even to say that Michael Moore's film is on TV there's a quote.

I'm sure he'll paint Hillary as the human and politician that she is. I've seen his opinion of her and it's that she's essentially a decent human being with social concerns.
And his opinion of Trump is the exact opposite.

LadyConstanceDeCoverlet · 30/10/2016 07:33

Yes, the Bush administration's use of a private email server was investigated by the House Committee and Government and Reform and found to be substantiated.

WinchesterWoman · 30/10/2016 07:42

Can you supply the evidence for 22 million ? Link. Thanks.

So it appears that huma abedin routinely forwarded classified material eg on Pakistan to a bod standard yahoo account and routinely put federal records which shouldn't by law be destroyed into a 'burn bag'.

WinchesterWoman · 30/10/2016 07:49

Carl Bernstein (watergate) says this must be a 'real bombshell' otherwise it would not be reopened. He says clintons best bet is to have contact with the FBI and reveal everything they tell her about the inquiry as they tell her. But lying is in her DNA. I'm not sure she could.

Lweji · 30/10/2016 07:54

It's not hard to find references to the missing emails by the Republican white house.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bush_White_House_email_controversy

Lweji · 30/10/2016 07:57

Carl Bernstein (watergate) says this must be a 'real bombshell' otherwise it would not be reopened.
What he says is crap.
They have an ongoing investigation, they found more emails, they're analysing the emails and they have told Congress they are doing so.

He says clintons best bet is to have contact with the FBI and reveal everything they tell her about the inquiry as they tell her.
Clinton has told the FBI publicly to release all the emails they have found.

WinchesterWoman · 30/10/2016 08:09

Just looking for that to be substantiated.

Lweji · 30/10/2016 08:14

What to be substantiated?

It's rich saying thay lying is on Hillary's DNA.
Have you looked at Trump's record? Grin
He can't open his mouth to say anything true. And that's only on the fact checking done during this campaign.
In addition to those, saying that nobody respects women more is on a level of lying so high that even Trump's superlatives can't reach it.

WinchesterWoman · 30/10/2016 08:15

It will be interesting to what extent the media looks into Abedin's Islamist links to organisations Clinton her self has described as funnelling money to extremists. Clinton described her as a surrogate daughter.

WinchesterWoman · 30/10/2016 08:15

The 22 million emails - link to substantiation.

Lweji · 30/10/2016 08:21

You didn't check my Wikipedia link, then?

"The White House stated it might have lost five million emails.[6]"

Lweji · 30/10/2016 08:24

The 5 million should be enough to completely dwarf the 30 odd thousand Hillary did.
And when you compare "lost" and "deleted", it isn't really that much different.

WinchesterWoman · 30/10/2016 08:24

The Abedin family connections to Saudi Arabia and the Muslim World League and Rabita Trust (designated a terror organisation) will I hope come under more scrutiny. It was Abedin's idea to set up the private set are and she later lied under oath and said she knew nothing about it. She's been working for HC since the Monica Lewinsky days.

WinchesterWoman · 30/10/2016 08:26

why exaggerate to 22 million - thanks for the heads up I needn't wait for the substantiation.

Lweji · 30/10/2016 08:28

I do hope anyone in a position of trust in relation to elected officials is investigated.
Aren't they usually vetted?
But that's mostly speculation regarding Abedin.

I'd like a full investigation into Trump's links with Putin, for example.
What were those contributions received by his close aid, again?
That was not speculation.

WinchesterWoman · 30/10/2016 08:29

Abedin also had a special employment contract at the state department that allowed her to work at the same time for the Clinton Foundation. It would explain her being behind the idea of a private server to hide the donor pay to play corruption around access.
