Hillary had the best possible response and she is right.
The FBI should either release everything for people to judge for themselves or not have done it (too late, for this, though).
As it is, it looks like a Republican conspiracy or dirty trick to cast more doubt on Hillary without any real basis. The FBI head can't even say if the emails are significant or not!
Anyway, whereas I don't think she's been brilliant in terms of handling muslim countries' policies, I don't think the US has ever been. No administration has.
Backing the wrong people has been a common theme for decades, as is backing the wrong governments according to convenience and strategy at the time, mostly due to oil concerns.
As it is, even Trump won't go all guns blazing on Saudi Arabia, for example, or any dodgy government, or consequences will be far reaching in terms of instability and the economy.
There should still be major (and I do reinforce major) concerns about Trump's financial interests outside the US. They won't be less problematic than any of Hillary's interests, particularly if you look at his foreign portfolio (see one of my earlier posts, I think on this thread). Possibly more.
Trump has been subject to lawsuits regarding his business practices. He corrupts politicians and he has acted like a con man in the past. (he still is, IMO).
So, yes, I'd rather see in the Presidency someone who understands the issues better, who can keep a cool head, and offers a better package for those who need protection.
Less so someone who is more concerned about inciting hate between groups, insulting people, lacks on social concerns, proposes less taxation on the rich, has actual financial investments outside the US, and, yes, preferably, won't be groping or raping his female staff or other women.
It's politics. None of them is a saint, but I do think that as a person and as a political package, Hillary is better for the US than Trump.
