Oct 20th 2 am UK time.

Last chance for the Establishment to stop the Trump surge in the polls.
World leaders will be watching, Establishments will be tuning in on the edge of their seats in trepidation.

People will be laughing, diving into the popcorn and knocking back the alcohol.

Round 3. Rock'n'roll.

Unless Malik Obama says: here is a video of Barack Obama being born in a hospital in Kenya with a date stamp and a clear identity tag then I don't see how he could bring anything at all to the campaign. And even then it's not about Obama it's about Hillary. He'd have to have a video of Hillary being born in Kenya with a date stamp and identity tag. Sorry to go on about this but my oh my I don't see the point.

BigChoc - is that Madonna?

claig · 19/10/2016 20:42

It may be someone from Bill's past rather than Hillary's, if it is true at all.

Surely Steve Bannon knows that any childish crap like that will have people throwing their pinnies over their faces and giving up on him.

claig · 19/10/2016 20:46

The Clinton camp asked for the protocol of familes shaking hands before the debate to be scrapped this time, according to some reports in case Bill Clinton was embarrassed by some Trump stunt.

'Surely Steve Bannon knows that any childish crap like that will have people throwing their pinnies over their faces and giving up on him.'

Depends what it is. The Daily Mail and Mirro have been reporting something about Bill's past over the past few weeks. It may be that. Trump's aim will presumably be to expose the hypocrisy of the Clintons.

They accuse Trump of being "unfit" etc, but it depends if there is a large amount of hypocrisy.

Washington, Truman, Kennedy and many other great US presidents would be spinning in their graves to see a crook like trump running for president. He will turn the US into a laughing stock, like South Africa, with its crooked president. He is a joke. Now I am off to listen to the late great Bowie, as the world really has gone down hill since he left us, and christ it will get worse, so eat, drink and laugh while we still can!

claig · 19/10/2016 21:05

Trump may expose the media bias by bypassing the media and bringing something out that they have not looked into much to an audience of millions and then they will have to talk about it.

Like when he Rick- rolled cnn into broadcasting the veteran generals endorsement. Now that - yes. That's worth doing. Hope it's that not some random unsavoury relative. Remember that carter brother? Peanut farmer. Just doesn't stick to a president - it's embarrassing but not exactly their fault.

claig · 19/10/2016 21:38

I doubt it will be that. Apparently Breitbart has another woman accusing Bill Clinton of assaulting her, but that won't have much effect, i don't think, so it would have to be something else.

"Donald Trump’s Debate Guests Tonight Are the Stars of the Drudge Report
...
What other stars of the Drudge Report homepage might Trump bring out tonight? There’s Danney Williams, who has made unsubstantiated claims to being the love child of Bill Clinton and a Little Rock prostitute, and whom many observers have noted would make an appropriately zany guest. Maybe the ghost of Vince Foster, who wacky conspiracy theorists believe the Clintons murdered to cover up corruption in the 1990s, or of Antonin Scalia, who even wackier conspiracy theorists believe the Obama administration murdered to secure a liberal seat on the Supreme Court."

Is there anything left to say about Trump and his "surge" in the polls? 23 pages since Sunday, really?!

PaddyPower has already paid out on bets backing Clinton to win.

claig · 19/10/2016 21:46

This is a Jerry Springer election and Trup is the reality TV expert. The media doesn't want to question Hillary on lots of real issues, they and the Clinto camp just want to accuse Trump of being a racist, sexist bigot.

Everybody already knows all the crooked scandals and they know the media is conning them by piling onto Trump in a way that has never been seen before. The media don't want to discuss the issues, they are in the tank for the Establishment and the Clintons, so Trump is wasting his time trying to talk issues because the media ignores him, so he may go Jerry Springer on them and shake the whole thing up.

Misti has it really?

WinchesterWoman · 19/10/2016 21:59

Claig: theory

To win a debate all you have to do is beat expectations hence why hillary won #1 because she didn't have to be stretchered off.

#2 therefore trump won because he lost first time. Expectations were low and he wasn't dire so he won.

#3 bannon is deliberately creating very low expectations. They are in the gutter, the trump expectations. Whereas stinky hillary is expected to triumph. Soooo...... all trump has to do us not falter, not turn up with a bunch of random, be sincere, patriotic and polite and bam. He's the comeback kid again.

Pretty fine theory huh huh?

claig · 19/10/2016 22:04

I agree about #1 and #2, but not #3

The media are all against Trump so even when he won debate 2, they said he lost and it will be the same today. They will hammer Trump for teh remaining 21 days, there will Brext type Establishment polls saying that Trump is finished in order to discourage the tens of millions of Trump fans from turning out to vote. He will be accused of more things and the media will talk about nothing else.

So Trump has no option but to go on the offensive and take the wind out of the Establishment's sails by going for broke and exposing the hypocrisy of teh Clintons, the Establishment and the media. The people already know it all, but they will appreciate someone who shows the courage to be able to sort it out.

Whatever Trump does, the mainstream media will say he lost, so he is going to have to stun them and expose their hypocrisy.

Maybe he's got something on the moderators

fourmummy · 19/10/2016 22:06

Winchester - except, turning into someone else would make his support fall off a cliff. He's got to be himself to the bitter end because Hillary is bland and coached. He's not. I suspect that he may be even more outrageous tonight.

WinchesterWoman · 19/10/2016 22:08

Did you notice how lefty darling assange became the devil incarnate when he dumped all that hillary data

What a bunch of unsubtle fuckers these journalists are

claig · 19/10/2016 22:11

'Maybe he's got something on the moderators'

No, the moderator is a very good guy, humble, serious, professional, Fox's Chris Wallace. He will ask good questions on lots of issues. He is fair, although I have heard soe people say he isn't, but from what I have seen of hi mon Fox, he is one of the best that they have, serious and humble, top class.

They should be so ashamed. Imagine yearning desperately to be a reporter, telling the truth, exposing the powerful. You end up attacking ordinary people and defending the liars, as you trough their $200 plate PR dinners. Losers.

WinchesterWoman · 19/10/2016 22:13

Oh that's great, . I'm so pleased about that.

claig · 19/10/2016 22:14

The debate topics have already been published. Good topics and the last one is "fitness to be President". It will be a much better debate in terms of addressing a variety of issues than the other ones.

Misti Surely bookies would be daft to pay in advance ?
It may be v unlikely Trump would win, but it's still possible (Nate Silver's figure suggest 10-15% chance)
I can think of at least 4 scenarios:

  1. One of either Clintons' particularly smelly skeletons could fall out of the closet.
However, since the Republicans & the rightwing media have put both their lives under a microscope for the last 20 years, it would be amazing if there's anything new.

  2. She drops dead, or is seriously ill after heart attack, stroke etc.
Both she and Trump look like their running mate could become Prez before 2020.

  3. Shy Trumpers could be a much bigger number than the UK supposedly "shy Tories"
Many respectable people could be very embarassed socially or professionally, if it were known they supported anyone who makes such outrageously racist and sexist remarks.

  4. A major terrorist attack on the US by a Muslim group.
Unlikely, because ISIS apparently prefer Trump (they wanted Brexit too)
I think ISIS fear only Putin, because his genocide in Chechnya showed his ruthlessness against Muslims (or anyone who defies him)

WinchesterWoman · 19/10/2016 22:19

If Isis description they would want hillary not trump

WinchesterWoman · 19/10/2016 22:20

My fucking arse tablet is a fucking fucking arse

Description =prefer putin
