claig · 16/10/2016 13:57

Oct 20th 2 am UK time.

Last chance for the Establishment to stop the Trump surge in the polls.
World leaders will be watching, Establishments will be tuning in on the edge of their seats in trepidation.

People will be laughing, diving into the popcorn and knocking back the alcohol.

Round 3. Rock'n'roll.

Assange was never a darling to those of us who take rape seriously
However, he does now seem a Russian stooge

Newsweek caught out Wikileaks in a faked BenghaI smear against Clinton:

http://europe.newsweek.com/vladimir-putin-sidney-blumenthal-hillary-clinton-donald-trump-benghazi-sputnik-508635?rm=euu_

"The Russians engage in a sloppy disinformation effort and, before the day is out, the Republican nominee for president is standing on a stage reciting the same manufactured story as truth."

WinchesterWoman · 19/10/2016 22:22

He was a darling to all those men on the Guardian which - may I assume you occasionally glance at - if you think he is a russian stooge.

BigChocFrenzy · 19/10/2016 22:29

When you are a psycho nutter, you welcome another nutter to play Armageddon

I've read several sources that ISIS are praying for Trump, e.g.
www.christianpost.com/news/isis-wants-donald-trump-to-win-believe-hes-best-chance-for-apocalyptic-showdown-168880/

"Islamic State recruiters are praying to Allah and calling on him to ensure that Donald Trump wins the presidential election in November, according to an analysis of postings on messaging services used by the heinous terrorist outfit."

"In a post on the IS-linked Telegram chanel, "Nashir," an IS spokesman wrote that he prayed for Trump to win the 2016 general election.
"I ask God to deliver America to Trump," the post reads in Arabic.

BigChocFrenzy · 19/10/2016 22:30

I can well believe Russian stooges are popular in some parts of the Guardian, e.g. Seamus Milne

claig · 19/10/2016 22:33

'I've read several sources that ISIS are praying for Trump'

BigChoc, you don't seriously believe that stuff do you? Trump will smash Isis in less than a few weeks.

The Establishment doesn't want Trump, they don't want people to vote for Trump. Establishment newspapers say Isis wants Trump.

Blimey, fourmummy, the mainstream media are keeping that poll quiet!

ZuleikaDobson · 19/10/2016 22:41

Assange hasn't been a darling of the left for years - basically since he disappeared into the embassy.

fourmummy · 19/10/2016 22:54

The commentary is interesting re the poll I've just posted upthread.

Boosiehs · 19/10/2016 22:58

That is a poll of 872 people in a country of 200m. Wtf?

claig · 19/10/2016 23:02

The CNN poll after the first debate (which said that Hillary won) that was quoted by the BBC, Sky News and the rest of the mainstream media was a poll of 500 people

OP posts:
claig · 19/10/2016 23:03

Watch the CNN poll after tonight's debate. Will be quoted by all the mainstream.

Claig The wishes of ISIS wrt Trump have been posted quite widely on their usual sites
They may indeed have misjudged what he will do.
However, they wish to die in an apocalypse and they think he will oblige in this.

fourmummy · 19/10/2016 23:06

Boosiehs - a lot of the polls use such small (ish) sample sizes. That is fairly comparable (but all polls obviously suffer from methodological issues). What's more interesting is that several polls are now asking their participants about media bias against Trump, which a lot of the participants are agreeing with.

BigChocFrenzy · 19/10/2016 23:16

That poll is strangely different to others published at the same time.
I'm not sure why.
Different sampling methods or # times they keep trying if no answer ? These and other factors made a difference in the UK 2015 election polls.

Let's wait and see if other polls produce similar results, before getting excited.
In any election, I look at the average of several polls and follow their trend over time.

claig · 19/10/2016 23:17

BigChoc, Isis can be smashed in weeks. There will be no apocalypse with those funded, armed mercenaries and ragbag Jihadis. Russia could smash them if they were not prevented, so just imagine what Trump and America could do to them. They have been helpedand funded by some Gulf countries. Imagine what would hppen to the ragbag Jihadis and mercenaries if their funding dried up. Trump will wipe them out very quickly.

"We finally know what Hillary Clinton knew all along – US allies Saudi Arabia and Qatar are funding Isis

There is a bizarre discontinuity between what the Obama administration knew about the jihadis and what they would say in public"

It is fortunate for Saudi Arabia and Qatar that the furore over the sexual antics of Donald Trump is preventing much attention being given to the latest batch of leaked emails to and from Hillary Clinton."

www.independent.co.uk/voices/hillary-clinton-wikileaks-email-isis-saudi-arabia-qatar-us-allies-funding-barack-obama-knew-all-a7362071.html

The article you linked takes its info from Foreign Affairs magazine, which is the top Foreign Affairs magazine in the world, the magazine of the Council on Foreign Relations in New York.

They are the bigwigs who are for free trade and globalisation. They don't want Trump because he is against that.

OP posts:
BigChocFrenzy · 19/10/2016 23:20

I've noticed several US polls seem to use smaller sample sizes than Uk ones (excluding online polls where anyone can vote as often as they wish)
The standard deviation and confidence level would be lower; hence the need to look at several different polls

fourmummy · 19/10/2016 23:26

We are obviously reading similar stuff:

There are other interesting articles on the web page.

And every day more and more early votes are cast. Come November 1st 30-40% of the votes may be cast, even more in some crucial swing states.

BigChocFrenzy · 19/10/2016 23:32

Claig You regard any source that isn't Breitbart, or their ilk, as untrustworthy i.e. you won't accept a negative story from any media that doesn't support him.
I read a wide variety of views from left to right and find that the extremes of either tend towards delusion

claig · 19/10/2016 23:37

'You regard any source that isn't Breitbart, or their ilk, as untrustworthy'

No I quoted The Independent that Hillary knew that Saudi Arabia and Qatar were funding Isis.

'I read a wide variety of views from left to right '

So do I. Did you believe the "yellow cake" stuff and the 45 minute dodgy dossier etc? There is such a thing as whizzkids and spin. Isis are not "praying" for Trump because he will wipe them out within weeks. Don't believe stuff about the apocalypse.

OP posts:
fourmummy · 19/10/2016 23:41

Not just the Independent:

"So the Clinton Foundation knew that both Qatar and Saudi Arabia were financing terrorists, but took their money anyway. Just to be clear, this may also have had a major impact on U.S. policy while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state from 2009 to 2013."

AnonymousAmerican · 19/10/2016 23:43
Who is Donald Trump?
claig · 19/10/2016 23:43

The Independent says

'It is fortunate for Saudi Arabia and Qatar that the furore over the sexual antics of Donald Trump is preventing much attention being given to the latest batch of leaked emails to and from Hillary Clinton."

The media want to turn the whole election into allegations of Trump's sexual assaults or his bigotry. Don't be fooled. Trump knows exactly what is going on in Syria and elsewhere. Trump is going to end globalism and end the wars and he has said he wants to work with Russia to smash Isis and bring peace to the Middle East.

OP posts:
BigChocFrenzy · 19/10/2016 23:45

Claig ISIS are not rational. They love it when people want to kill them. They pray for martyrdom.
That's their thing, like chocolate is mine:If Trump threatened to drown me in milk chocolate (NOT Cafbury's), I might pray for him too.

Re the "revelations:"
That the Saudis, especially, and Qatar are funding ISIS and other terrorist groups has been known for years.
The West has chosen to ignore this in order to buy oil and sell weapons

And it has long been alleged that the Saudi connection to 9/11 was brushed under the carpet by Bush, because of his family business connections to them

When you look at the horrific oppression inside Saudi Arabia and the terrorism & extreme Islam they spomsor outside, it is outrageous how they have got away with it.
However, their trillions of oil wealth buys off all countries and organisations.
