Oct 20th 2 am UK time.

Last chance for the Establishment to stop the Trump surge in the polls.
World leaders will be watching, Establishments will be tuning in on the edge of their seats in trepidation.

People will be laughing, diving into the popcorn and knocking back the alcohol.

Round 3. Rock'n'roll.

ITrump will not overturn abortion rights"

Why do you say that?

Southallgirl · 22/10/2016 17:29

I really really dislike Clinton as I've said several times before on this thread. I just dislike her less than I do Trump

Why do you have feelings towards either of them? We will never know them personally, so it's their policies and the direction in which they want USA to go which are the critical factors, surely? I have no feelings towards any candidate. If the reason why Trump is standing for election is truthful - which is to nip in the bud the corporate globalist elites - then that is a very good mission. If he does that, the globalists will regroup and try again some years down the line, but at least a public figure is speaking about who is REALLY running the politicians.

Southallgirl · 22/10/2016 17:34

all the money spent on 'sustainability' and decarbonisation hasn't been spent on for eg cleaning up all the litter in the oceans

I agree. The quality of life for many sea creatures must be appalling. The oceans are dirty and very crowded with junk. And the endless cacophony of increased shipping traffic must also be very stressful.

LadyConstanceDeCoverlet · 22/10/2016 17:39

Of course Trump will overturn abortion rights. When he fulfils his intention of appointing pro-life judges and they overturn Roe v Wade, that will be the inevitable effect. Anyone who suggests that is not a direct result of electing Trump is deceiving themselves.

claig · 22/10/2016 17:54

'If the reason why Trump is standing for election is truthful - which is to nip in the bud the corporate globalist elites - then that is a very good mission.'

Just listened to Trump making his 100 day plan speech in Gettysburg. He was more subdued than usual, probably the stress and danger of what he is doing.

He said the media is corrupt and he will work to end the media takeovers that are concentrating too much power in too few hands. He said he will iplement term limits for politicians (Drain the Swamp). He will rewrite or with draw from NAFTA, he will definitely withdraw from TPP and will cut the billions that the US contributes to the UN Climate Fund and America will clean up its own environment with that money. He will build the wall and Mexico will pay, he will deport 2 million illegal immigrants who have convictions and any country that doesn't take them back will have their visas cancelled for coming into the US. Amazon is going to have to pay more taxes. Vocational education increased. Taxpayer deductions for childcare and elderly care, and move for childcare facilities at place of work. Parents allowed to choose their own school or homeschooling.

It is a complete takedown of the current corrupt system and corrupt political class.

I believe Trump has enough commonsense not to try to overturn abortion rights. It would be his undoing, and anyway Senate will not allow it. He understands that the fallout from criminalising abortion for non-medical reasons would make USA look like 1950s Ireland.

Late abortion (third trimester) is another matter.

Anyone remember that case here about 6 yrs ago in which a married woman was carrying healthy twins. She wanted and got a selective reduction because she did not want twins. It was more than half-way thru her pregnancy I believe. I wonder how this has impacted on the surviving twin and whether he has an emotional memory of a sibling?

Southallgirl · 22/10/2016 17:56

We will never know, but Trump may well have received death threats to himself and family. And the realisation that if he does win, then he will be a marked man.

claig · 22/10/2016 18:02

He said to the crowd doing what he is doing is not easy. He is up against all the faceless power and corrupt elites and their media servants. What we are watching is the most incredible challenge to their power ever in history. He said he didn't have to do it, but he did have to because he loves his country.

James O'Keefe of Project Veritas Action has tweeted that part 3 of his series on voter fraud and voter rigging will be released on Monday and if anything happens to him in the meantime, a dead man's switch is in place.

"James O'Keefe ‏@JamesOKeefeIII · 20h20 hours ago

Anything happens to me, there's a deadman's switch on Part III, which will be released Monday. @HillaryClinton and @donnabrazile implicated."

cut the billions that the US contributes to the UN Climate Fund and America will clean up its own environment with that money

Yes, because contributing a country's money to a fund dedicated to something is never effective. If you want something doing, do it yourself.

claig · 22/10/2016 18:12

Yes and the UN and the Climate Fund is all part of global governance and all of that will come to an end if Trump beats them on Nov 8.

"Most Accurate Poll in 2012 Shows Trump In the Lead
...
According to FiveThirtyEight, the Investor’s Business Daily/TechnoMetrica Market Intelligence poll predicted the correct outcome of that election, exposing Obama's dramatically underestimated performance and the falsehood of Romney's clear victory.

In the new poll released on Wednesday, Donald Trump is leading Hillary Clinton nationally, taking 41 to 40 percent lead."

Sheer panic among the elite class and the servants of global governance around the globe.

I'm VERY surprised that LBC radio is pro-Hilllllary, even the so-called right wingers such as Ferrari. Apparently all presenters are for her except one! Wonder what happened there .......

claig · 22/10/2016 18:23

' even the so-called right wingers such as Ferrari. Apparently all presenters are for her except one! Wonder what happened there .......'

I am not surprised, same as our so-called conservatve politicians, most of them are for Hillary. It is the Establishment versus the people. Only Katie Hopkins has the courage to side with the people.

OP posts:

Most of the UKIP politicians are for Hillary. Farage is about the only one that is for Trump.

Apparently the USA polls are far more accurate than UK's, better predictors.

Southallgirl · 22/10/2016 18:41

Most of the UKIP politicians are for Hillary

If that is so, then they have no business being in UKIP.

She has 30 yrs of political experience on Trump and that is what is swaying some people. She has a great public persona imo; speaks well, knows which facial expression does not go down well on close-up, is always aware of where the camera is and knows how to control those 'tells'.

But I always remember her speaking about her experience 20 yrs ago on landing in Bosnia somewhere, and she and her daughter having to run for cover and dodging flying bullets. She told that story so well and believably, but it turned out to be a load of codswallop.

If you look at how she tells that story, I cannot see any tell-tale anxiety or hiccups in her voice when she is spinning us a lie. What do all those people who were with her on that airbase and who later heard her embellishing think of her?

'Apparently the USA polls are far more accurate than UK's, better predictors.'

Very few. As Trump said today, the corrupt media is not mentioning that poll, which was the most accurate poll over the past two election cycles. The media use the same tricks as were used in Brexit.

‘Brexit times five’: could Trump really win despite polls favoring Clinton?

The Republican is using Britain’s shock exit from Europe as his mantra. Are his Democratic opponent’s numbers good enough to ward off another surprise?
...
Those Republicans still loyal to Trump cling to the hope that all the polls are wrong – that in barely two weeks’ time, angry voters will again stun the world. Over and over, Donald Trump is saying one word: Brexit.

“We will win,” he told a rally in Pennsylvania on Friday. “We will shock the world. This is going to be Brexit-plus.”

Earlier, in North Carolina, he promised to go “beyond Brexit”. By evening, “Brexit times five” was coming.

On one level, the pep talk is not as crazy as it sounds. Not only has Trump confounded expectations all year, but like those campaigning for Britain to leave the European Union, he has closed within touching distance of his opponent several times already."

They'll try tricks, they'll try lies, they'll try everything they have got. Go Trumpster! Brexit times ten!

By definition, populism = fighting against the establishment conspiracy. So when the populists don't win, that proves that the conspiracy exists. Populists win no matter what.

LadyConstanceDeCoverlet · 22/10/2016 22:50

I believe Trump has enough commonsense not to try to overturn abortion rights. It would be his undoing, and anyway Senate will not allow it.

He doesn't have to do it through the Senate. He will achieve it by appointing right wing judges.

Lweji · 23/10/2016 00:43

That comment about Hillary's story about the airbase is interesting. That was a story that was embellished. Probably for effect.

But you have another candidate who says he never said or did things that are on video and on written media. Many things. Almost for every subject.
He keeps spinning those lies and insist on them with no hesitation or qualms. He screams his lies from rooftops.
How do you interpret that behaviour? How do you view that candidate?

A candidate that on fact checks was the least truthful of any primary candidate, from either party?

Southallgirl · 23/10/2016 13:13

Lweji - She herself embellished the story. I remember some years later watching a split screen - the actual footage of the airbase showing her disembarking and then speaking with military, and her excited account after that visit of flying bullets, running for cover. I wondered at the time how she thought she would get away with such a porkie.

Lweji · 23/10/2016 13:37

I know she embellished the story. That was not the point...

Anyway, for a much better debate than the original:

there are posters on this thread who think in very black and white terms.

Just because we are saying how crap we think Trump is, that doesn't make us all into Hillary supporters. What we are saying is that Trump is crappier.
