Oct 20th 2 am UK time.

Last chance for the Establishment to stop the Trump surge in the polls.
World leaders will be watching, Establishments will be tuning in on the edge of their seats in trepidation.

People will be laughing, diving into the popcorn and knocking back the alcohol.

Round 3. Rock'n'roll.

Some people are very willy nilly with the fascist and far-right accusations. It's like a knee jerk reaction. It reminds me of Clouseau's boss with his eye tic. And there's the homing in and the personal attacks too. Once again we've got people ganging up and trying to silence rather than debate. And yet you're scared of getting deleted too aren't you?

claig · 17/10/2016 23:51

'Some people are very willy nilly with the fascist and far-right accusations'

It is usually Blairites, they are anti free speech and pro spin. Establishment versus the people.

I thought he had more backing members of minority communities than previous republican candidates. I could be wrong but I've seen lots of 'blacks for Trump' 'Latinos for Trump' etc. Inconvenient for people who can't think outside simplistic little boxes or have patronising, racist ideas about how whole groups should vote for based on skin colour.

birdsdestiny · 17/10/2016 23:55

Some people are very willy nilly with their blairite accusations.
No one is trying to silence anyone. We are allowed to say we think trump and his supporters are racist.

Is that directed at me WinchesterWoman?

'I thought he had more backing members of minority communities than previous republican candidates'

Yes, it is estimated he could have up to 15% among African Americans. far higher than Romney or McCain.

The Stump for Trump Sisters were Democrats. They can't stand the Republican Party, but they love Trump and are voting for him alone. The same is true for Don King, he is voting for Trumo inspite of teh fact that the Republican Party elite are anti him. Trump transcends party.

As Jeb Bush said

"he has hijacked my party"

Trump doesn't give a stuff baout the lite and the Establishment, he has driven a bulldozer through their spin and their pieties and he represents the American people against a corrupt Wall Street backed lobby funded puppet class of politcians working againstthe interests of ordinary people.

Here's that map again

There are an awful lot of famous black Americans, Claig. The fact that you can only trot out the names of the same few people time after time - and frankly, you are really scraping the barrel with the Stump for Trump sisters and the non-famous relatives - demonstrates the opposite of the point you think you are making.

Do give over with the paranoia, Winchester. It is perfectly clear that you are not being silenced.

claig · 18/10/2016 00:01

'We are allowed to say we think trump and his supporters are racist.'

Of course you are. But Kaija accuses me of being a fascist which is a smear.

The Stump for Trump Sisters are African-American and I have named the other famous African-Americans who are Trump supporters and they are clearly not racist and black Trump spokeswoman, Katrina Pierson, wouldn't be working for him if he was racist.

Colin Powell is a Republican and served in the Cabinet.
He has given a lifetime of service in the armed forces and then in government
He deserves respect, whatever your politics
(I'd have voted for him or Condeleeza Rice over either of the Clintons, if I'd had the opportunity in a parallel universe)

I'd trust his judgement and knowledge far more than a couple of singing sisters on the make, or a surgeon who thinks the pyramids were god's larder

He has no allegiance to Blair.
Blair is a pygmy, a has-been, from a much less important country.

Colin Powell doesn't throw around accusations of racism - Trump is the only politician I've heard him criticise like this and Powell has the usual disagreements with many other politicians
So, when he calls someone "racist" then I believe him.
So do many others who are uncommited politically

That's the advantage of not calling wolf: you get believed when it matters

Kaija · 18/10/2016 00:02

My apologies, Claig. From your postings I assumed you would see it as a compliment. No hard feelings.

claig · 18/10/2016 00:03

'you are really scraping the barrel with the Stump for Trump sisters'

On the contrary. To me the Stump for Trump Sisters are more important than Hollywood celebrities or pop stars because they are ordinary people and have nothing to gain by supporting Trump.

' No hard feelings.'

No hard feelings. I understand you are a Blairite, I understand why you do it.

OP posts:
Kaija · 18/10/2016 00:07

Ha ha, you're killing me with this Blairite stuff. All the same, it's hard to see how someone cheerleading for a racist fascist like Trump would resent the label.

WinchesterWoman · 18/10/2016 00:08

Calling people fascist is absolutely an attempt to silence people. My apologies, Claig. From your postings I assumed you would see it as a compliment. No hard feelings. This sort of thing for example is childish, provocative and more of the same silencing effort. There's a frustration showing that you just can't shut people up quick enough - and Claig I would certainly take that as a compliment.

By the way did you see the Democrat campaigners video explanation and evidence of how they deliberate start violence at Trump rallies for the TV cameras?

birdsdestiny · 18/10/2016 00:09

This blairite stuff is so tedious. Used by Corbyn supporters to describe anyone who doesn't agree with them. Utterly meaningless phrase.

ZuleikaDobson · 18/10/2016 00:10

You can't have it both ways, Claig. Either you keep citing the Stump for Trump sisters because they're allegedly well known, or because they are ordinary people.

Kaija · 18/10/2016 00:10

I'm sorry you don't like it WinchesterWoman. Please do report anything you feel is upsetting.

claig · 18/10/2016 00:11

'I'd trust his judgement and knowledge far more than a couple of singing sisters on the make'

That is your choice, but I prefer the Stump for Trump Sisters because I am a populist. They have o pensions to gain, no "yellow cake" history, no Bush/Blair Iraq War legacy to defend. They are just ordinary people and I am with them everytime.

'Blair is a pygmy, a has-been, from a much less important country.'

Of course he is. But Colin Powell is tied to Bush, "yellow cake" and the whole Iraq War.

'Trump is the only politician I've heard him criticise like this and Powell has the usual disagreements with many other politicians'

Did you not read what Colin Powell said about Hillary? I prefer General Mike Flynn, former Head of the Defence intelligence Agency, who supports Trump, to Bush's Colin Powell.

WinchesterWoman · 18/10/2016 00:12

Hey Claig: it's interesting stuff - I always assumed the social justice warriors engineered most of the trouble and violence but it was just that, an assumption. This is one of the organisers explaining how they did it, and - apparently - having routine contact with the Clinton campaign.

Kaija · 18/10/2016 00:13

Anyway, it's been fun. A bit like a toy town cable street. But I must go to bed. Happy trumping.

WinchesterWoman · 18/10/2016 00:13

Kaiji I would but you're so scared of getting deleted you've worded it so that you won't be. 'oh look at all the fascists' instead of 'you are a fascist' when it's perfectly clear you are trying to smear and silence. And in a pretty cowardly style. At least Claig's got guts.

claig · 18/10/2016 00:14

'Either you keep citing the Stump for Trump sisters because they're allegedly well known, or because they are ordinary people.'

But that is the great thing about the Trump phenomenon. They are ordinary people who have become famous through the Trump movement. Trump fans tune in to their analysis above that of the corporate CNN. The people are choosing to abandon the corporate liars and listen to ordinary people instead and they are now famous.

OP posts:
WinchesterWoman · 18/10/2016 00:14

Nobody cares if you stay or go. Just debate properly instead of trying to silence people.
