That's OK, smallwhitecat, I've never wanted to speak on behalf of your child. And by the same token, you don't speak on behalf of me.

And I actually GrinGrinGrin at your attempt yesterday to position yourself as the True Guardian of Caring About Disabled People. As opposed to all those nasty, er, disabled people posting here.

Actually I'm doing it again. GrinGrin

Vid is hilair. Did SWC invent whippy icecream or thatcher? Is she a small white cat or does she have one in the style of a bond villian? I do hope so, as they said in Sherlock every story needs a good villian. Wink

ApocalypseCheeseToastie · 26/01/2012 21:56

Did she really invent Mr whippy. ??!

Swc, don't fool yourslef that you have the high ground, not when you are advocating millions of households being plunged into poverty and forced to leave their homes, families and support systems. A lot of bullshit has been spouted on both sides, but the fact is, some people believe a workhouse is an appropriate solution to the country's problems. And they weren't joking. So while some of the jokes may have been a touch tasteless (and I agree there) which is worse, really?

I'm never going to agree with you where politics are concerned. I find the "I'm alright jack, these nasty plebs taking all the time should be stopped. Feed'em from food banks, what do they want dignity for?" Attitude pretty despicible. Whereas you probably think my floaty "let's all take care of each other and then march - up wiuth socialism" attitude irresponsible, but I at least admire your unshakeability. But I don't think you can claim any moral highground by virtue of having a disabled child. That looks like you support the cuts, as long as they don't affect you.

SWC, as a parent of two children with disabilities and auntie to my disabled niece and nephew I can assure you, my concern at seeing the virtually non existent services we had being hacked away to zero my concern is very genuine.......

That video is one the funniest things I have ever seen. I fucking loathe the Tory party.

Does anyone remember the thread about which Tory you would shag if you HAD to? That was very, very funny.

Was this the joke in question?

Now, toddle of back to the home dear, I think you may have the nurse/patient scenario a little confused.
