You could join Google+ now! I have no idea what Google+ is but I keep getting directed there by Google.

Google+ is great for this sort of thing, KM, because the circles mean your potential audience is huge.

Could you explain it to me as if I were a 5 year old please Lorem? I get feeling it's important but I still don't really know what it is.

I'd like to get the benefit.

I want to love Google+ but I just don't. Perhaps because I was hoping for something that it doesn't deliver.

How about a new thread to promote what we've achieved in the last week?

Making sure the links are in the OP.

People tend to start be following people they know, like FB, but then branch out into people they don't know. You put people into circles, friends, family, frothers for eg, then post your stuff to a circle, if someone picks it up they can send it to their circles, if they reply it's seen by their circles, then someone in their circle might pick it up and it goes out to their's and so on. There's a section where you can check what and who has been most read that day, follow them and add them to a circle and you have access to even more people. That's as much as I've worked out yet, except that it seems to be smarter and more eclectic than FB and easier to get more longevity out of posts than Twitter.

Mme I'm Chessiers on your Twitter btw. Must look and work out who the frothers are and do some mass following. Also tweet as the_thread.

Ok got my shit together now, tonight I'm finally writing up something for the blog about the housing benefit capping - all research done and have some shocking stuff so will start putting into something readable!

Is formatting the blog post easy? Will just need to write a couple of words as clickable links rather than putting the long link in if that's possible (I'm sure I saw someone elses post include that)

You can post in basic html.

Very basic run down, if you want to write Yes Please! in bold type in Yes Please! (the b starts the bolding, and the /b finishes it.)

To do a link you write The words you want to appear as the link goes here

You don't need to code in line breaks etc, just type as you would normally apart from links/bolding etc.
