AIBU to ask for your prayers?

So my lovely friend's son is currently in an emergency operation to save his life. He has not been well for a long time and he never complains and tries to be the most positive person he can be even though he is in pain. There is a massive history of 30 years of illness.His Mum is the kindest most giving person I have ever met and the whole family are lovely.
She has great faith and I have everyone I know praying for a positive outcome for him but if I could get hundreds of vipers behind him then I do believe the power of prayer could carry him through.
If you haven't prayed in a while even better - God rejoices when a lost sheep returns.
YABU: It will make no difference
YANBU: I will try for you as I believe/what harm can it do.

when they started the surgery they realised the issue was not what they had thought - which is a positive. He is a bit better but may need more surgery. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers x
