Looking back over the thread it is amazing how much has happened in just over a month:

First of all giving thanks for imminent and not so imminent 'beans'
Bobsmum - 36 weeks is it? Struggling with elephant feelings
Podglet on maternity leave now; CS booked for 15th April
Myjobismum - giving thanks for normal scan 14 weeks now and feeling more positive.
CaptainCaveman - give thanks for willyflashing bean. So sad about the lady seen in clinic with a 20 week pregnancy that is no longer viable, Lord have mercy.

Just flagging up some urgent prayer needs

FAQ (Queenofquotes) - marriage has broken up, struggling with life on her own with three dss. Situation not improved by the fact that her lovely vicar had a comprehensive breakdown and is in hospital. Praying for things to keep improving and giving thanks for friends around her.
Podmog Struggling with many issues - Lord bring peace and calm in all situations and relationships.
Praying also for Notsofarnow who is back at work but not finding life that easy.

CaptainDippy and ZipadiSuzy both struggling with rather parallel issues:- unfamiliar work and not a lot of money. Praying for perseverance and rest.
Swaliswan too is getting used to a new job which thankfully she enjoys more than she expected too. Struggling with dh being away a lot and mil threatening a visit straight after dh comes back.

MaryBS who has had such a lot of work to do and who is going for more clarity on a diagnosis of Asperger's syndrome. Praying also for her friend K who will have an operation for cancer on Wednesday.
Also praying for Amber32002 who bravely went to church a few weeks back and who is talking about disability issues with people in the Church at high level.

Praying for Roseylea for clarity of thought on a 'thing that has cropped up'.

Giving thanks with Worzella and Notquitegrownup for enjoyable far away holidays

Praying for Panda's mum with chest infection.

Praying for OJ and Steve, Steve should be home by now but apparently there is some problem with transport. Lord, how we need you in this very hard situation, joy tinged with sadness.

And for all not mentioned NorthernLurker, Mufti, PenpotEca (how are things now sweetheart?) and anybody else - lets get praying.

Hi all!

Just a quick one to say Please pray! I'm feeling rotten - full of cold and crohns flare up . We are going away with my parent and dc for the weekend so I really really want to be better soon! And I've got quite a few jobs to go today to get ready for the weekend so I need all the strength I can muster! I am reading and praying for you all; sorry I've not been posting as much...

podglet · 10/04/2008 11:47

Hi all,

Rosey - praying for a nice quick recovery for you so you can enjoy your weekend away

CD - hope the drops continue to work, please try and rest a bit lovey, you are so busy with the girls and work now, have a little "You" time.

CC - Have you tried flat coke / lemonade? Sorry to hear you are still in pain

SS - wow, praise God for all your wonderful news so pleased to hear things are turning around for you!

DO - so sorry, letter sent to you today with knitting funds enclosed. Have had a mad week with boiler change over and found it lurking under the bread bin this morning should be with you tomorrow / Saturday...

Suzi - sorry to hear you feeling so down, can't offer any better words than the others on here but hope you are back to bouncing soon.

Prayer request for me please. Have woken up with Ds's cold please God let it clear before Monday otherwise they won'd do my op on Tuesday and I can't go on being this big and uncomfortable for much longer, I am so miserable and tired. Help me to be a better Mummy to DS in these last few days before his sister arrives.

CaptainDippy · 10/04/2008 11:55

Hey Podglet and Rosey!

Poor you Rosey Praying for massive improvement in health before the weekend sweetie. xx

Aw, podglet - don't be too hard on yourself honey - you are a good mummy to DS sweetie. You are 9m PG and feeling bleurgh - don't expect to be a walking ray of sunshine and fun ..... DS will be fine with you just being yourself and he will be absolutely thrilled to meet his little sis on Tues!!

Ladies, I'm feeling a little after my appointment with the doctor this morning. He diagnosed me with pleurisy and has prescirbed some antibiotics. Maybe I should have gone a few days ago rather than waiting a week even though I knew that I had pleuritic chest pain Thankfully I don't feel too poorly with it but no doubt the antibiotics will make me and DD feel pants.

MaryBS · 10/04/2008 15:17

On the way out, but just thought I'd let you know I had a mouse run up my leg, outside my house...

No news of K just yet...

Roseylea · 10/04/2008 16:04

Swaliswan please take good care of yourself! Cautionary tale alert: I had pneumonia with pleural effusion a couple of years ago and it was grim. So use this pluerisy as an excuse to do nothing but rest and read books and drink tea!

Mary mice are my one real fear - I can't relax if I think there is a mouse in the house! So a mouse up the leg would be the stuff of my nightmares!

Thank you for prayers for my cold / crohns. I'm not feeling too bad now and seem to be getting all the jobs done - thank you God!

PandaG · 10/04/2008 16:49

hello all

any news of K yet?

SS praying you get better soon, in fact praying that for everyone who is under the weather.

DS was off school yesterday with a sore tum, but he was fine by midday and I lost a day's pay DD announced she felt sick after school so has missed ballet, then seemed to perk up as soon as we got home, just wonder if she wanted to stay home as her brother did yesterday. Hope she doesn't start being sick and is ok for school tomorrow.

love to you all x

CaptainDippy · 10/04/2008 18:27

I hope so too Panda. xx

Take care ofy ourself SS!!!

Glad you are doing better Rosey

Eeeeek - a mouse, Mary!!

Best go, children to put to bed, but feeling bleurgh here - all coldy and sore eyed etc ... not good .....

worzella · 10/04/2008 18:54

Hi everybody - take care of yourself Rosylea - hope you feel better soon.

I promised myself I wouldn't just lurk - but I never really know what to post! All is well in the worz household - no real prayer requests - just very tired and taking a while to recover from our trip.

Good to hear from you FAQ - had followed one of the other threads.... hope you can keep being positive!

MaryBS · 10/04/2008 19:29

Just heard that K will be in surgery till 10 tonight. Please also pray for another lady, who's child is in DD's (and K's daughter's) class, diagnosed with the same thing, operation in 2 weeks...

Swaliswan · 10/04/2008 20:17

Oh Mary. I'm praying for peace for you and for everyone else who are waiting for K to come out of surgery.

DutchOma · 10/04/2008 21:51

Podglet, don't worry about knitting funds, glad they are coming, but it's just a pleasure to knit little garments. Hope your cold gets better soon. Give my love to ds and to his little sister.
Rosey hope you are well enough to enjoy your weekend away, are you going somewhere nice?
Prayers for OJ and Steve still very necessary, especially concerning horrendous family situations.
Prayers for K and for the other lady and for all the children involved in anxiety over their mummies. Must be incredibly frightening.
Good night to all, may the Lord give you sleep and rest
"I will lay me down in peace and take my rest, for it is Thou, Lord, that makest us to dwell in safety

CaptainCaveman · 10/04/2008 22:06

Prayers for K and for the other lady Mary - and EEEEEKKK to mouse running up your leg! Whatever did you do?

Praying for your cold and crohns Rosey, and that you have a nice restful/enjoyable weekend away.

Praying for your cold to clear up too Podglet and that all goes well for tuesday .

Am fed up with ds school admission saga - having read the appeals process I am not hopeful of us being successful. I don't even know what to write in the appeal - why is it so important for me that ds goes to a CofE school? I can't write "because it is"!! I need to pray and sleep on it.

Love and prayers to you all x

CaptainCaveman · 10/04/2008 22:07

Forgot to say, new scan pics now on my profile - you can see Mr Sweetheart!!

MaryBS · 10/04/2008 22:12

I shook my leg and it ran down again. It wasn't moving very fast. TBH I expected it to run away when I moved towards it, I didn't expect it to first sit on my foot, then start climbing... . It was cute! I could have picked it up, it sat still for quite a few seconds, scared I guess.

MaryBS · 11/04/2008 08:34

I completely lost it with DS this morning

bobsmum · 11/04/2008 08:36

Feel a bit pants today.

After being on a bit of a high about being on top of things I kind of cracked up last night and dh found me sobbing in a the kitchen just before midnight.

I'm vv sore with my SPD, have nowhere to sit because of gutting the lounge, I'm exhausted and not sleeping properly, worrying about the birth and constant monitoring in the high risk unit (even thought I'm a low risk pg ), ds is off on his Easter holidays for a fortnight and watching far too much TV because I can't move and MIL is coming on Saturday to "help". She's well meaning but I'll need to do a lot for her (dressing etc) and I don' think I can, but because my thoughtful parents go to Portugal for a week today, she's our best hope at babysitting should baby decide to come at 39 weeks.

I've asked dh to phone the EdPsych to cancel/postpone the home assessment next Wed. I'm in no fit state to discuss ds' future or a diagnosis - it's just not fair on him. But I do still have to fill out a 50/60 question form from the SALT on his communication issues - he should be getting his first appointment the week they go back to school. I hope I don't have to be there - I think it's a one to one thing - it's 2 days before I"m due. The questions are very leading and a bit confusing, asking about ds' understanding of puns and jokes - I'm not sure what an average 5 y o should understand so I don't really know if he's not behaving appropriately on that sort of thing.

I don't normally rant on here - especially when everyone else always has mountainous problems in comparison, but this time I'm struggling with my molehills - sorry

Swaliswan · 11/04/2008 08:43

CC, Baby Cavey looks cute!

Mary, how old is your DS? Praying for stress levels in your house to reduce and the peace of the Lord to reign. Any news on K? When will you hear about all of that coursework that you were doing?

Praying for CD's eye, Roseylea's weariness and everyone suffering from a cold.

If anyone has a moment, please will you pray for my breathing. My pain is worse and it gets a bit scary when you can't breathe properly. I desperately don't want to get any more ill as DH is still away until sunday and my parents have gone away to Spring Harvest. I am terrified of being admitted to hospital as I used to work on the respiratory ward!

Swaliswan · 11/04/2008 08:47

Bobsmum, don't be embarrassed. You are contending with a lot at the moment. Please stop expecting so much of yourself. You should be resting as much as possible and stuff what MIL thinks. I'm sorry but she needs to understand that at the moment the world needs to revolve around you. Praying for you xxx

CaptainCaveman · 11/04/2008 09:05

Praying for peace and rest for you bobsmum, may God calm you with His presence.

Praying for you too SS, that your breathing soon eases and you don't have to go into hospital.

Hugs Mary, we all get frustrated with our lo's - I was shouting at ds last night and made him cry . Normally I'm quite patient and I don't think shouting at him achieves anything other than it teaches ds to shout back - UNLESS he's in danger and then I WILL shout very loudly. Praying for your peace of mind over this.

I'm enjoying looking out at the sunshine at the minute - the grey clouds are appearing and we've been promised rain but current sunny-ness is lovely!

CaptainDippy · 11/04/2008 10:11

CC - I have send you and another MNr an email to try and help you with your appeal

Oh bobsmum I am praying that your SPD would ease a little and that baby would just come soon so that you can get on with your lives iyswim!!? {{{{{{hugs}}}}} Wish I could help. Think it is very sensible to postpone the diagnostic assesment etc.... you need time and space right now, not more stress. It is all going to be over soon sweetie. xxxxxxxxxxxx

Praying for your breathing SS. xxxx

Praying for K and for the other child too, Mary - are you ok?

I am feeling a bit spaced, but ok enough, just wading through yet more work etc ....

Yuk!

Notquitegrownup · 11/04/2008 12:46

Morning all. Flying by.

CC - you could say that as parents you want to be able to play a full part in supporting your child's school and as active Christians you feel you would be able to look forward to helping out regularly at a church school . . . .
