Or Wiccans. or Pagans? Or anyone who is interested in a magical path or feels some magical stirrings.

A place for support, learning, swapping ideas and magical inspiration.

Morning lovelies just catching up on all the posts. Yesterday was a busy one, so it's nice to have the long weekend to look forward to.

I've felt a much needed shift in the energy with this full moon. The feeling of fatigue and exhaustion that had been pulling me back has lifted and I feel like I'm able to see clearly again if that makes sense? I carried out a ritual in my garden in Wednesday and can already sense a release from the things that were holding me back.

Like you Speakout I've been enjoying yoga classes on Zoom, it's a lovely way to start the day and I'm grateful for the extra time in the mornings this enforced home working has given me.

It's a beautiful day here, I'm sitting in the garden enjoying my coffee, I'm looking forward to spending some time looking through the links you have all posted Smile

Pandora welcome, it's good to have you with us. I'm sorry your health means you're unable to work as a nurse, however I sense you have a beautiful energy and the ability to help people to heal on an energetic level ❤️

Wanted to share this amazing video of a lone witch dancing in a square in Italy, two weeks ago, she is dancing for healing, her performance is mesmerising.

Welcome Pandora, I’m glad you’ve joined us

Oh my goodness, such beautiful videos- both the sculptor and the dancing witch. So full of soul and magic. Thank you for sharing them.

I’m feeling the shift today too. The full moon felt very powerful and I’ve spent the day in the garden today. Just what I needed. We had some rain early this morning and the tenacious poppies that grow wherever they choose to looked beautiful sprinkled with raindrops.

Did a bit of gardening and the rest of the day was spent building a haphazard fire pit which turned out to be functional too- wood smoked bar b que for tea. It’s been so good to just be outside and connect with the elements

Wishing everyone a magical weekend 💫

Yashmis sounds like a lovely day. DS1 and I have been doing similar, we bought a BBQ and attempted to put it together. Neither of us is particularly practical so it didn't end well!! Will try again tomorrow Grin

VioletCharlotte · 08/05/2020 22:01

Speakout that video of the dancing witch is fabulous. I would love to do something like that!

YashmisCrone · 08/05/2020 22:49

Halloween Grin Violet I hope you have better luck with the bbq tomorrow!

Mine was a very simple effort- some bricks and stones with a grill on top, built a wood fire underneath and cooked the food once it died down. Did the job and I enjoyed a fire in it later, added some dried lavender, sage and bay. It smelled divine and I could watch the flames all night- hours of fun!

The dancing witch is amazing

It got me to thinking, are there any ballets with witches in? Sleeping Beauty is the only one that comes to mind with a witch dancing a major role. I probably need something more obscure.

I saw a terrific mixed bill with Birmingham Royal Ballet a few years ago, woodlands etc.

speakout · 09/05/2020 07:43

LilacTree1

My DD and I went to see The Crucible ballet last year- contemporary ballet performed by Scottish Ballet- absolutely blew me away. Story of the Salem witch trials

www.scottishballet.co.uk/event/crucible

Not sure if that is what you are looking for, and not suitable for younger children.
YashmisCrone I have the same poppies growing in my front garden- they popped up in cracks around my walls, yellow and orange too. Such a bright optimistic colour.
Those flame pictures are wonderful, I see a figure in the first picture- a female child or adolecent, playing a wind instrument -recorder or clarinet. She is focussed on her practice, but seems unsure of herself. She has no idea of the poise and grace that flows within her. She is far more beautiful and strong than she realises, I feel the urge to tell her so.
Do you recognise or connect to that figure?
I saw it immediately last night before going to sleep, hope you don't mind me sharing.

Thank you speakout, your insight is spot on! Interestingly I don’t see the same image, but one of a similar theme- I see an older woman stooping to take the hand of a young girl who reaches up to her. The feeling of support and maternalism is the same. The maiden being nurtured by the crone. What also gave me tingles when I read what you’d written was that whilst I was meditating on the fire last night, there was suddenly the sound of a clarinet playing ‘we’ll meet again’ for VE Day from a neighbouring street. Poignant in an otherwise quiet evening. There were no other sounds of celebrations here, which surprised me as there’s usually quite a lot of noise made round here for the Thursday clapping!

speakout · 09/05/2020 11:38

The maiden being nurtured by the crone.

Exactly the energy that I felt!

Shadow work in the flames.

Elphame · 09/05/2020 11:38

Thank you for the Welsh poppy pictures @YashmisCrone. I have a really bad case of ritual hangover and I've just crept out of bed for coffee and painkillers. I may go back yet! That was just what I needed to see first thing before I tackle the mess from last night.

God luck with the bbqs. Being veggie we don't tend to bother here. It's a lot of faff for a couple of slices of halloumi and a few vegetable kebabs.

I'm in no state to fire scry - I'll have a look at the fire pictures later

LilacTree1 · 09/05/2020 11:42

Speakout thank you so much!

speakout · 09/05/2020 11:55

LilacTree1 do you dance? Have an interest in ballet?

OP posts:
speakout · 09/05/2020 11:56

Elphame

Sorry to hear you are feeling a little delicate- go easy on yourself. Coffee and painkillers sound the perfect solution!
I hope your evening went well.

OP posts:
LilacTree1 · 09/05/2020 11:56

speakout I’m too much of an elephant to dance but I do love watching ballet.

speakout · 09/05/2020 11:58

LilacTree1 I don't dance either- I would have loved the opportunity as a child.
I love watching dance, my only issue with ballet is those bloody pointe shoes!!

OP posts:
YashmisCrone · 09/05/2020 14:45

speakout Yes!! Powerful stuff!

Elphame I’m glad you liked the poppy pictures and hope your head is easing. I know what you mean about the bbqing- veggie here too. I think I was craving the fire more than anything. That said, I’ve been sawing more wood and am about to marinade some veg and hallumi kebabs for later!

The crucible looks like such a powerful performance speakout, thank you for sharing it and thank you for bringing the conversation LilacTree1. I’m another one who loves to watch but doesn’t dance. And I agree about the bloody pointy shoes speakout!

I loved this one when I saw it years ago- lots of magic and a witch. Predictably she’s depicted as powerful yet ruthless and dangerous.
(Spoiler alert for the storyline!!)

VioletCharlotte · 09/05/2020 15:56

Yashmis I saw the maiden and the crone too! Such lovely energy. I wish we had stuck to a simple, homemade fire pit, but the boys talked me into buying a gas BBQ. Like Elphame, I'm not really a BBQ person either, being veggie, but I succumbed to pressure!

I'm come out for a walk, neighbours in both sides are using power tools and the noise was driving me to distraction (wouldn't help your hangover at all Elphame!) I've found a quiet, shady spot to rest for a bit and enjoy the peace! It's funny, it brings back memories of being 12/13 and going for random walks and bike rides on a Sunday when there was nothing else to do and I wanted to get out the house!

I seem to be surrounded by males at the moment, my DC are both male and my neighbours are predominately male. I'm finding myself craving female company.

YashmisCrone · 09/05/2020 17:04

I love it that you saw that too Violet! Turned out to be a powerful bit of fire work!

I hope you feel better for your walk and solitary shelter- sounds like it’s just what you needed. I agree it can be hard to be surrounded by so much make energy. Thank goddess for this place.

Sending sisterly energy your way x

YashmisCrone · 09/05/2020 21:12

Interesting perspective on current astrology. I love the way this woman writes:

“ Saturn's move into Aquaria just after the equinox tipping point was a preview of a signature new structural energy that will define 2021. We've had our taster. But this is 2020, the year the world changed forever and Saturn's lifequaking work here is not nearly done. Tomorrow his annual retrograde begins, joining Pluto by grinding into reverse gear.

He will travel back into Capricorn through the smoke and mirrors that sought to obscure our world's starkest realities. We have been shown in shocking ways the uneven patri-pillars our old world was built on, fatally quaked when Saturn and Pluto collided on January 12th. Their impact heralded a redistribution of world power, one cycle dying as another began and us all living the overlap. At the same time a report from China surfaced about a little virus, curious cataclysm. Curiouser still, Saturn Pluto aspects feature in the charts of both Bill Gates and Rupert Murdoch. Saturn indeed devouring his sons.

This rx revisits the seismic shift in social, political and personal structures as a work in progress. All three form the struts of the world we inhabit. Keen observation and diligent consolidation are the name of the game. We cannot dismantle corruption and abuse of power if we will not see it and allow its horror to galvanise right action. Injustice must be amplified for the scales to tip back. Even in isolation, the personal is the political.

Saturn is heading for his last dance in Cap in July which will conclude his home ground advantage, the effects of which we have certainly been feeling since December 2017. Use this period to revise what you have been working on since then, with a view to passing its tests and graduating from Sat Cap U. With the unmistakable scent of karmic rebalancing on the wind, take responsibility to do right with what you have learned.

Old man Saturn's rx asks us to reconsider how we spend our precious time here and answer the fresh call of this life. He reminds us we can only step up by shoring the ground beneath our feet. So to build a better braver new world whose foundations are firm, fair and far sighted.

To your work benches, darklings. Revolution is not a spectator sport.

Slept like a goddess last night. I drifted off about 10.30pm and woke up at 10am. This is totally unheard of for me, normally I'm always awake by 6.30ish. I feel much better for it, so obviously it was what I needed.

Much cooler here today with a strong breeze. I'm sitting in the garden drinking my coffee, the sound of the wind blowing the trees is reminiscent of the sound of gentle waves crashing against the shore. I'm longing to be able to get to the coast again.

This afternoon I'm planning to head off into the forest with my dog. DS1 will probably join me, he shares my love of nature and being outside. DS2 is still sleeping after late night virtual drinks with friends.

I'm in the mood for some kitchen witching so may do some batch cooking or baking later.

Love to you all ❤️

speakout · 10/05/2020 12:05

VioletCharlotte

I am so glad you had such a long restorative sleep. Your plans for today sound perfect.

I had another good sleep too last night, morning yoga as well.
It's much cooler today, with intermittent rain, a refreshing change.
I am working today, but at a nice easy pace, with candles and plenty tea.
I too fancy baking, I saw a lovely recipe on youtube, but DD will be commandeering the kitchen/ diner to film some classes, so kitchen will be out of bounds for most of the day as she likes quiet and privacy.
