Lord we lift up Your Name.

We give thanks for two new little beanies, Bobsmum's and Podglets?.

We give thanks that Worzella and Roseylea are quite a bit better, we pray for complete healing for both of them.

We also pray for CaptainDippy, not feeling great and struggling with a particularly difficult issue at the moment.

We pray for Podglet as she works through a week of incredible business. Lord we hold her up for Your particular love and care.

We also pray for Mummy2TandF. After the very sudden and unexplained death of her dh she is feeling totally overwhelmed by money worries and grief. Lord uphold her and give her all the practical help she needs. Also help her in answering questions from her ds and help him come to terms with his grief

We also remember Onlyjoking and Steve before the Lord with their three children.

We give thanks with Harrisey that her ds is settling into school and for a few days away. We pray for strength as she copes with the after effects of MIL's childcare

We give thanks with MaryBS for a wonderful holiday and pray for her as she takes up study and essay writing. We pray for her ds and his appointment with the paediatrician on 14th September

Zipadisoozy - prayers for peace of mind concerning ds and his new school. Prayers for him too as he settles into a class with two bullies from his previous school. Let's pray for his protection and right development.
We give thanks, with Marslady for the safe arrival of the two babies she looks after.
We thank the Lord for CaptainCaveman and her ds, who keeps us amused with the wonderful things he comes out with.
We remember Notsofarnow and the difficulties in her relationship with exh. We pray for wisdom

We welcome the new girls Scootergrrrl, Commanderchaos, Sandcastles and Shreksmissus. We pray for Mr Shrek and his very busy life and with him for all dhs who work so hard for their families. May the Lord bless them richly and keep them walking in His way.

Several young children have been brought to our notice for prayer:- Brook Kendrick who lives in Northampton and is very poorly with a heart condition in Great Ormond Street Hospital and C who is known to Bobsmum. He suffers from an inoperable brainstem tumour.

We commit ourselves and all our friends to the care of our great and wonderful Lord and Saviour.

Well you ladies and your prayers are very very effective. Baby was born within 2.5hours of me being there. Home in plenty of time to do some of my essay (before a quick spot of salsa to release the adrenalin). Wonderful birth... without doubt the best I've seen.

Please pray that my final lady waits until after I've submitted my essays!

Praise God for the wonderful birth I was a very small part of today.

CaptainCaveman · 24/09/2007 21:07

Mars how do you do it? You seem to squeeze 27 hours in to each day. Praise God for the wonderful work you are so blessed and gifted to do.

Bobsmum, get thee to a medic - an order from your fellowship! As an orthopaedic nurse I can confirm Harrisey's implorings to get checked out to be safe. Most likely just brusing and whiplash but why take a chance? I once nursed a young lady who'd had a car accident 4 weeks previously before she finally came in to A&E to get her neck pain checked out - she ended up spending weeks in halo traction for a fractured vertebrae. A little extreme example I realise, but just goes to show you SHOULD get yourself checked, particularly as you are pg and your ligaments etc are softer and more likely to 'give' (ie, more prone to injury than when not pg).

Please pray that I get a full nights sleep tonight. Also, pray for me to get my assignment finished on time. Looking ok, upto 3500 words and about 3/4 done. Just wrestling with investment appraisals/opportunity costs (bleurgh, all vomit inducing stuff!)

notsofarnow · 24/09/2007 21:17

His chest not been too bad this eve but he is on 10 puffs of ventolin every couple of hours. Please pray I sleep all through the night with no disturbances. I'm gonna cry.

ZipadiSuzy · 24/09/2007 22:02

Sorry gotta go, dd not very well ??????????

MaryBS · 24/09/2007 22:19

NSFN - you've been there for me many times. I know how hard it is to admit that help is needed, and how easy it is to feel "useless", when really that's not the case at all. PLEASE don't stop posting. We are strong for each other. Remember Paul and "the body of Christ". If one of us hurts, we all feel it. If one of us falls, we pick them up. We take it in turns to be strong. How can I come to you and ask for help, if you don't feel you can do the same if you need help?

Welcome Cheritongirl - all the merrier!

NotAnOtter, how are you?

NQGU - a credit is higher than a pass, with distinction being the top mark. I don't think my tutor "does" sensitive, but nice of you to give him the benefit of the doubt

CaptainDippy · 24/09/2007 22:51

Rosey - Praying about giving up work - exciting! How's DD?

NotAnOtter - Praying sweetie, can't say anything better than anyone else- You did the right and the good thing. xxxx

NSFN - {{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}} COME BACK YOU SILLY GOOSE!!!!! How is DS? Praying lots and lots and lots and lots ..........

Morning everyone! Life is good in the Caveman household, despite ds peeing in our bed last night

Welcome Cheritongirl "who are you and where do you come from?" It's lovely to have you join us. I'm 34 21, married to dh who will be 40 in Nov! and we have our gorgeous ds who is 3.4. We live in Nottingham.

HUGE CCONGRATS to you Mary, fab result for your assignment. I'm just about to pick mine up again.

NSFN please keep posting. If you look back through the threads there are times when we have all felt a bit me me me, but thats what our fellowship is for - to love and encourage each other in Christ and to help us become more like Him. If Jesus was typin on mumsnet (lol) he would NOT want you to stop posting, he'd be encouraging you to post more. Please pour your heart out to the Lord, and keep posting to us! ((((((((hugs))))))))
