Good morning sisters,

Well it’s wild and windy here this morning! It’s not raining and I’m tempted to put some washing out to utilise the powerful clearing energy I can feel within it. I suspect my thinking may be impractical!

I am revelling in a day with nothing I have to do until later on. I’ll be pottering and opening all the windows to invite the wild wind in to engerise me!

Violet I also love the sound of your curry- is it a Jamie Oliver recipe? If so I think I might have tried it and very much enjoyed it. I’m looking for a curry recipe today too- something that can incorporate the paneer I have that needs using up. I’d like to learn to make chapatis to go with it.

speakout thank you so much for the divine 8 energy. I was walking on the moors and paused to take it all in, I was treated to the site of a heron and more wild ponies- powerful symbols of the goddess to me 💚

I absolutely loved reading about your experience with the fox (aren’t they beautiful creatures?) and the link to the dream- a reflection of your powerful goddess spirit. A true warrior defending what is sacred and vulnerable. You certainly saw those men off!

Love to all x

Good morning all. A wild and windy day here too. Yashmis I've put my towels out on the line too, hopefully the rain will hold off!

I'm not sure what I did wrong with my curry but it didn't taste very nice at all. It was the Jamie Oliver recipe Yashmis I've had it before at a friend's house and it was lovely. Rather disappointing!

I enjoyed my evening at my spiritual group, its so nice to be amongst like minded people, I always feel uplifted afterwards. I've done a yoga class this morning and I'm now at the hairdressers getting my colour done, so a good start to the weekend.

Speakout what a great dream! Foxes are fabulous ❤️

Yashmis your walk in the moor sounds wonderful too, how lucky to see a heron.

Love to you all for a happy weekend.

beehivemind · 10/08/2019 11:46

Morning sisters

Wild and windy here too. I'm finding it quite unsettling.

Meadowlight I loved that passage on fleeting temples. Do you know where it comes from? It really resonated with me.

And like many others I've been suffering with energy spikes and slumps, so the news about Jupiter, Uranus & Mercury on August 11th is fascinating. I've started following magicalrecipesonline.

Speakout years ago I read The Crucible. Such a timeless subject with many parallels through the years

Good afternoon, just having a break after hours of painting DDs room, she is giving up her Uni flat and coming back home to live- but bedroom needs a makeover apparently! So I am covered in emulsion paint- hands arms, hair- even my feet ( I like to paint barefoot as I can climb up to reach high places more easity!

It has been warm ans sunny here today, but lightening storms forecast for this evening- perfect!

YashmisCrone thank you for the fox picture, they are such lovely animals, and much maligned as scavengers and pests. My heart always opens when I see a fox.

VioletCharlotte yoga and hairdressers is gladdens me to see you nurture yourself like this. X

Maybe a chinese takeway for me tonight, my local does amazing tofu with black bran and green papper, but there is some camembert in the fridge that is calling to me too- and I have some amazing chilli jam made by a small local company- an Irish woman who makes preserves and chutnies- called The Spice Witch. So that with some green salad may be perfect.
I hope everyone is havig a good day.

purplefig · 10/08/2019 16:49

Happy weekend everyone!

@speakout it's lovely of you to prepare your daughters bedroom ready for her return. And both black bean tofu and Camembert with chilli jam sound like a good reward for your hard work. I've got leftover vegetable stew and I'll make some fresh dumplings to go with it, perfect comfort food for this wild weather.

@VioletCharlotte yoga and hair care - now that sounds like a fabulous start to the weekend.

It's another wild and windy down here on the coast. I walked to our local surfing beach today and the swell was positively raging, I've never seen it like that before. It was exhilarating!

So yesterday, Following my big release on 08/08 and subsequent reading, I decided to do the heart chakra cleanse referenced in the link I posted below (it involves circling your heart one way and then the other 100 times, to open and cleanse before closing). It was the most bizarre experience. While I opened it I felt moved to alternate between light strokes and hard pressure, it definitely felt clogged in places. Then I closed it and felt waves of euphoria and saw physical waves of green that moved in time with my circling. It was such a lovely, peaceful experience. It coincided with a power cut and I felt very within myself, if that makes sense.

I'm going to join in with your 8pm practice tonight and light a candle. Tomorrow I'm going to take the dog on a long walk, then go on a dreaded bra shopping excursion to m&s. Damn pregnancy hormones 🤣

speakout · 10/08/2019 17:26

purplefig How interesting to hear of your heart cleansing work- I am glad it was a positive experience.
Your stew and dumplings sound lovely btw!! I love dumplings.
My DD has been here fo a month already- over summer-and has been most of the painting. It did involve buying eight paint testers!
She has been working over the summer though and is a joy to have around.
And as the paint is drying looks like it won't need a second coat. Phew!!
YashmisCrone

I can make chapatis- I would love to show how. I am a totally rubbish baker. My brownies could repair cracks in walls. Sponge cakes have the texture of set PVA glue, my biscuits could wedge open heavy doors.
But I can cook, and chapatis require no baking. My stubborn determined hat refused to give in, and I have experimented with so many variations over the years- many bad disasters, but tried different flours, recipes cooking techniques etc, and I have is cracked. Soft, floury, puff up in the pan with a few slightly scorched places. I make piles of them.

As I type black clouds cover the sky , it is almost darl and I can hear the rumble of thunder. No rain yet but I can sense it coming.

Have a lovely evening sisters.

Speakout I love painting, I find it so satisfying and there's something quite calming about it. I too am a messy painter! Lovely to have your DD back. My DS is moving out into uni accommodation in September (He started off living at home last year, then decided he didn't like the course and took a year out instead). He's only going to be half an hour away, but it still feels strange. I'm excited for him though, of course.

Purplefig our heart cleansing work sounds really interesting, would you mind reposting the link? Your beach walk sounds exhilarating! I was thinking today that I'd have liked to have been near the sea.

Sorry you've been feeling unsettled by the wind Beehivemind. I do understand what you mean, I think there's something about the intensity of the energy.

Hope you're all having a peaceful evening. I'm enjoying having the house to myself as both DS are out.

YashmisCrone · 10/08/2019 23:27

Lovely to catch up on the posts of the day with a relaxing tea.

My energy has been much better today, I’ve enjoyed pottering at home despite my efforts at cooking not being a success! (Must be the week for it Violet!)

speakout your chapatis sound divine- I would love you to teach me to make them- I can imagine us doing so in our witches kitchen, a pot of curry bubbling on the aga, or maybe some of purplefig’s stew and dumplings- I’m also a big fan of dumplings!

I was also very interested to read of your heart chakra work purplefig, it sounds very powerful.

Violet it’s so lovely to hear of you making the most of your time off. It sounds very nurturing and your energy is great. You’re inspiring me to do the same!

bee I’ve also been fascinated by the recent astrological influences and have certainly felt them. Thank you for the recommendation, I’m going to check that out.

I hope everyone has had a restful evening

purplefig · 11/08/2019 10:09

Just popping in for a quick swig of tea so I can post the heart chakra practice I did. Really recommend! foreverconscious.com/how-to-open-and-clear-blocks-in-your-heart-chakra

Good morning wise sisters, a great calm feeling here today, we had the wildest storm last night for hours I have never seet such heavy rain in the UK before.
I have just had a morning cuppa and a bagel, searching on the internet to help me firm up some exciting ideas for a couple of new products for Yule. I have to think ahead so I can get labels designed etc. But for now I am sitting in peace, two family members asleep, OH is on call working in the dining room, mother is at church and won't be back for hours.

I was meditating on the Goddess Shakti this morning at 8pm, Hindu goddess that pervades us all, and such a symbol of strength and nurture,

I listened to this beuatiful piece of music as I sat, I know I have linked it here before, but perfect for gentle Sunday morning listening.

Good morning, popping in to join you for a quick coffee. It's still very wild and windy here. Please send some of your calm down south Speakout, I don't think my fence is going to hang on much longer!

Yashmis sorry your cooking efforts weren't successful either! Let's put it down to their being 'something in the air'Smile

Purplefig thank you so much for sharing the heart cleansing link, I will have a proper look later, and Speakout thank you for the link to that lovely piece of music.

It's DS1's 20th birthday today. Birthdays have changed somewhat over the years. When he was little, he was always up at the crack of dawn. This year, he's catching up on sleep after a night out. When he wakes up, we'll make plans for the day. DS1 is very much of a 'spur of the moment' person, so it'll be interesting to see what he comes up with!

Lots of love for a peaceful Sunday ❤️

speakout · 11/08/2019 15:10

VioletCharlotte A happy birthday to your son. I hope he and your family have a special day.
I am a great believer in doing what you want to on your birthday- not what is expected of you .
If that means going out or having a lazy day, a meal with family, or simply relaxing and doing nothing- all is valid.

Painting is finished, so DD just has to put her room back together again, but a lovely fresh result.

It is an energetic cleansing as much as a paint job!

A question for those who use Tarot- do you cleanse your deck? Especially those who read for others. My favourite deck has been mine alone, mostly except for my daughter, but our energies overlap.
My deck was handled yesterday by someone casting scorn and negative energy- my DD had allowed it so difficult to jump in, but now it feels "wrong". Luckily I have a new smudge stick so I think I will go cleanse it.

Just wonder how others feel.

RosaWaiting · 11/08/2019 16:21

speakout your baking descriptions made me laugh so much!

I’m feeling exhausted and a bit achey. I’m just waiting for a supermarket delivery, then I’m going to do some yoga.

BlankTimes · 11/08/2019 17:17

Speakout definitely cleanse your deck, people like that tend to make my things 'sticky' or 'oily' can't describe it well, but it just feels 'wrong' and unpleasant for me to touch after they've touched something of mine.

I'd definitely light a candle, smudge the deck, pass it over the candle flame, then probably wrap in a smudged black silk cloth and lay it on a bowl of rock salt in a very dry place with a shell.

I'd also smudge/cleanse and ting wherever that person had been in my house.

Violet I agree, a birthday should be spent doing what the person most wants to do and enjoy. Very Many Happy Returns to your ds.

I was really looking forward to today's astrology, Mercury no longer retrograde - paraphrasing earlier posts so I was expecting something along the lines of all chaos ended, smooth(er) sailing and everything that had been blocked being released for a smooth progression.
Maybe that planetary conjunction hasn't started yet because I've had 3 new difficult situations to deal with today so far already Halloween Confused

speakout · 11/08/2019 17:27

BlankTimes thank you. I have already smudged my deck and whispered blessings over each card.
Unfortunately the person who handled my cards lives with me- my elderly mother, a deep christian ( one of the most unliberal flavours) so hard to cleanse my home of her energy.

I appreciate your words. X

OP posts:
BlankTimes · 11/08/2019 18:00

Sorry speakout hadn't realised. It must be hard to live with, but her influence can't be that strong overall because of all the active practice and wonderful things you do each day for all your family, including her of course x

queenrollo · 11/08/2019 18:25

Good evening all!!
It's been wild and windy here too. So much so that my washing line snapped! I actually got a bit tearful about it, and I feel that in this place I am among others who will understand why!

We have spent several hours by the river today for a local activity. I am not naturally drawn to water (I am all fire and earth) but I feel energised and cleansed after being down there. I am actually scared of water and today I felt that I might like to conquer that fear and actually take up a water sport!

speakout · 11/08/2019 18:29

BlankTimes thank you- and no need to apologise.
You are right - I can live with her influence, but she often has church members for bible study, praise etc. Although a very extreme christian flavour, not so "devil hunting" as some!!
I am very lucky to have a large indoor space at the back of my house for such meetings, with lots of doors and windows, easy to lighten energy.
Just finished work, with a large cup of peppermint tea.

I hope everyone is having a good day.

Evening sisters, these threads move so fast and I have so little time to catch up!
I have to go stay at my parents house while they take my DC on holiday and I don't really like the energy there. They have a bad relationship and the the air is just heavy and dense. Any suggestions for what to do to make it more bareable?

BlankTimes · 11/08/2019 23:48

Gin Here's a few ideas for you.

Rock salt, smudge (see previous posts, the embers can be a fire hazard. Fire does purify, but I expect you don't wish to have such a drastic result) or make a smudge spray definitely a lot safer, use sound like singing bowls, bells, tingshaws.

Orange and Frankincense essential oils on a burner will lift the heaviness of grief, so it should lighten and negate what they've left behind.

Physical change of air by opening doors and windows and letting all the 'stale' blow away.

Draw protective symbols at all the thresholds with salt water - only really effective for you if you work with symbols and resonate with them.

Remember when you've got rid of something unpleasant, you need to fill the void it's left with love.

PriestessModwena · 12/08/2019 04:03

Good morning all Star very, very early I know. DH is doing an airport run as it's on the way to work, so up to make sure everything is sorted.

The moon looks amazing tonight, can't wait for the full moon.

I was meant to have a reading last night, I realised if I left everyone for the call, DH would get moody about being away. I've been feeling pretty up & down, so was hoping for some spiritual wisdom from above. It's just easier sorting it when he's not here.

Does anyone want a one card reading for the week ahead? It'll give me something to focus on, if you wanted a bigger reading, I'm happy to do that too.

Has anyone tried Gaia?

Many blessings for today & the rest of the week.

PriestessModwena · 12/08/2019 04:09

@queenrollo does your name come from Amazon's Vikings?

Thankfully 4 more episodes till we've binge watched 7 seasons. It's been a slog. I'm really confused as everyone's doing the King Alfred & the Vikings story, I don't know which one is accurate.

I was quite scared of the seer at first but he's my favourite character. There's so much I want to know, I'm coming into my own with my spirituality, as I get deeper, the more I discover, the bigger my reading / research list gets.

Do you think your journey is pretty much ongoing?

Mileysmiley · 12/08/2019 05:02

I have some kind of sixth sense which a lot people have but seem to ignore.

I have the Witches's Bible btw.

Mileysmiley · 12/08/2019 05:05

I wear a lot jewelry (I think I have gypsy roots) and my favorite necklace is a sun pendant.

Without going into too much detail, about two years ago, I cursed my ex (and then experienced the karmic fallout from being stupid enough to do it). What would be the best way to undo said curse? Not because of the karmic fallout, which was epic but thanfully nowseemsto be over, but general regret about being tempted down that path in the first place, wanting to put things right, and worrying that the curse worked too well, as ex has been quite ill/hasn't been "right" since (which was the plan). Dr's still can't find a cause.

Actually, I meddled a lot with such things as a teenager too, only mostly love spells (that usually went tits up very quickly, with at least one still having possible lingering effects). Is there a way to undo all the spells, rituals etc that were done with bad intentions?
