I found this prayer on Facebook and tought it was a beautiful way to start the new prayer thread.

There was a beautiful picture with it too, but I don’t know how to transfer that.

It will improve. It does not feel like it now, but it will.
You could try reading some of the Psalms where the writer works through lots of strong emotions.

However you feel, God has answered. We do not always like the answer though.

Add in a flare up of one of the effects of hEDS/HSD which is quite uncomfortable. Not a great combination.

Please keep our dear friend MHD in your prayers as she is in hospital for intravenous antibiotics to combat double pneumonia. “I never liked doing things by halves”’ she says.

She came out of hospital today after a fortnight there.

How is everyone?

As we're coming to the end of this thread, I wondered about starting a new one which includes prayer and chat - we used to have two different threads but I wondered if it might work to do both in one, and perhaps invite people in to have a chat as well as prayer. What do you think?

I think it sounds like a good idea.

I've been very unwell with a chest infection which was initially thought to be viral - my third week off work. Not bad enough to be hospitalised like MHD and relatively minor but I've lost lots of weight and the family has been struggling.

I don’t think I’ve been on one of those threads in ages, mad.

Chat and prayer in one thread sounds like a good idea to me.

I was very moved by a post on FB from one of our prayer thread contributors a long while ago. She went under the name of Clockface iirc.
She offered to pray for all those who struggled with the whole Brexit issue and I asked her to pray for me as I feel utterly depressed and sad about the whole thing.

Hi there please can I ask you to pray for me please I hope you don't mind me asking... had a severe mental breakdown over Christmas for no obvious reason resulting in with me being diagnosed with major depression and anxiety.... I pray everyday for healing and I was thinking maybe extra prayers might help Xx
