There are so many more things we can talk about under this heading. So for those interested & those who arent sure , but would like to put there thoughts in to. I have started a discussion. Tell us what experiences you have had, whether it be on your own or with the help of a therapy or a reader (of all kinds) or whatever way it has come. Recommend books or therapies that have been transformative or have set light bulbs off !!! Or even that it freaks you out a bit!!

ooh wobblyknicks, glad this works for youdidn't realise you could visualise anything in meditation.

lou - I know, its such a nice image, being nice and calm at night but not bloody freezing at the same time!!

lavender - you can visulaise anything that makes you feel good. Loads of people visualise beaches but I live near one and it always has tourists on it so it doesn't seem that relaxing in my head.

Visualisation is the key to relaxation. I have several wonderful places I go to. I love the one you described wobblynicks.

It can often send u to sleep Lavender. It is great for sleep problems. I suffered from insomnia fora long time but with medittaion and visualisation I drop of withought being aware of it.

Haven't read the whole thread but here is some random stuff that comes to mind.

Books: Celestine prophecy - no such thing as a coincidence, energy suckers etc
Synchronicity - The inner path of leadership by Joseph Jaworski

Website: Learning the Tarot

Also quite interested in astrology, have had my birth chart done etc. Would love to learn how I as an Aries should bring up my little Aquarian DS.

In a former life I was a tibetan monk and I have a Higher Guide from that time called Xao Tung who introduced himself to me in a dream and then later my psychic could see him standing behind me and could tell me the name. If I sound like a fruit loop you can pretend that I just made it up to freak you out.

How is that melsy?

Aussie mum thats fantastic & amazing doesnt freak me out I love it, have you read a book "the lost horizon"??

Celestine prophecy got me really into spirtuality. Before this I had read all of Shirley Mclains books. The first one was "Out on a Limb". I then searched London for all her out of print copies of every book she wrote. I have the whole series.

Thanks melsy - what's your favourite place?

Try reading 'The Celestine Prophecy' by James Redfield. Is a while since I read it so am going to pick it up again. It's basically about the world's movement towards a greater spirituality but a good novel. Softback was £7.99 when I bought it but libraries would probably stock it.
have been into all this for years but cannot bear people who are too up their own bottoms about it all - was once told in a very patronising 'person' that I had bought about my own morning sickness and caesarian by negative thoughts - yeh right tell that to everybody else on the pregnancy threads. rather disrupted the calm meditative state I was in!

One of them is a hotel room in Sedona Arizona, we had panoramic windows, floor to ceiling, accross a double width room. The view was of the burnt orange mountains agaisnt the sky and large fir trees swaying around, during the day the sky was cobalt blue and the orange glowed. It was magnificent. At night you could sense they were there and you could feel the energy. The bed faced the window so when I woke up in the morning my dh opened the curtains and the view was amazing. Sedona is a very spritual place for me.

I have the whole series Sibble,I bought it all as it came out. I did enjoy it but some of it has to be taken lightly. I pulled the relevant bits , like life dramas ,energy fields, synchronicity & watching for messages.

Have you read "Conversations with god" , I again bought the whole lot. Bit of a thing I now realise , I am a publishers dream as I have to buy all the writers books once hooked.

My father was the one into all this stuff & he got me into it. He read more phillosophical / self help books like "IM OK YOUR OK", he also got me into the "Sylvia mind control" book, were it teaches you u can use visualisation to find lost things.

Mmmm will have to try it.

I think the pregnancy goddess was looking out for me when pregnant - cause whenever we needed a parking space - and I would visualise getting one - there was always a space available.

You could check out her site maybe Melsy to test the waters ... I have not read the book myself .. have read about her more and seen the film recently made about her. She is an interesting lady

As a child I used to 'see' a woman alot, she is usually accompanied by the smell of roses, quite overwhelming. As an adult I hardly see her, only when I am troubled. There are hundreds of things about it I could write but 2 stand out:
when I was sick in bed as a child she appeared next to me where the wall should have been stroking my head (no I wasn;t asleep) and it did freak me out
A flat mate moved out because although she started locking her bedroom door and left her slippers next to her bed she was waking to find them outside the bedroom door in teh morning.

I was always losing things as a child and have them turn up in the weirdest of places my mum only believed me when she went to a psychic who told her the spirits were testing me and playing games!!!
fortunately she is heavily into such things and is only 'angry'that she has never experienced anything.
I ususally practice reiki, meditate daily and do yoga but am 20 weeks pregnant and am reluctant to do anything for fear of retaining negative energy. I also had m/c last year at a time when i was treating people alot and it is hard not to relate the two although the logical part of the brain says that it could not have caused the m/c.

wow sibble

I did reikki first level - but have not continued - have had it done on me and it was fantastic.

I have also had some occurences with flatmates - seeing a woman in the house and then having a flatmate saying she had seen her also - after that she went away.

Had something happen when I was living in San Francisco. The guy I was seeing had often told me he was tormented in his sleep. One night he feel asleep very quickly while I lay awake for awhile.
He started becoming restless in his sleep and then the bed started vibrating like a low hum - not shaking. He was becoming more restless and then at the end of bed two beings (I do not know what else to call them) appeared. The were completely opaque and were conferring with one another.
I am stil lying there going OK - looking at them, looking at him.
Then I thought well They were not invited in - so they are not welcome
So I spoke to them and said - What are you doing here? What are doing to him? Go away you are not welcome here.
They went away, I leaned over and said they have gone now and the humming stopped.

It happened another time in another house still in SF - I was sleeping in the living room and awoke to feel the bed was humming. Went away after awhile - not keen to get out of bed and investigate further.

Never happened again and do not feel that I was involved in the energy that was occuring - more that I was able to witness it occuring to two other people. It was their negative energy.
Used to practise being invisible - maybe thats how I was able to witness this!!
Must say though that both of them were interested in Aliens. ??

Very familiar , I had a similar experience to this as a child. I woke up during the night to find several short beings round my bed in blue cloaks with no faces, again conferring . I am not sure now if it was positive or negative energy that emanated from them. But I will always remember it.

Another one was being dragged out of bed by a tiger or lion and falling on the floor, when I woke up I was lying on the floor. Not sure if it was a halucination due to a temprature as a child or what it was.

I am interested in reiki, I posted this last week ,reiki & kids .

I had my first reiki last week, with someone I wasnt to keen on & couldnt fully relax , but I could feel soemthing happeneing. I got this vibration you talk of Papillon, do you think its negative energy or chakras ?? I got a hot and cold sensation , she said she felt it coming from me to. I also had an aura cleansing that night before the reiki and the same thing happened , so something was going on. I felt a coldness come over me like a window was open , the aura women said it was the negative energy leaving me and new fresh energy coming in?? I have had this feeling ever since , especially on one side above my shoulder??
