There are so many more things we can talk about under this heading. So for those interested & those who arent sure , but would like to put there thoughts in to. I have started a discussion. Tell us what experiences you have had, whether it be on your own or with the help of a therapy or a reader (of all kinds) or whatever way it has come. Recommend books or therapies that have been transformative or have set light bulbs off !!! Or even that it freaks you out a bit!!

Is the speaking in tongues you refer to 'channelling' if so an early channeller and interesting to read about was Edgar Cayce. I am very interested in a lot of stuff that you are all refering too and have had many experiences from Poltergeists, witches, healing and loads of synchronicity stuff, loved the celestine (and Shirley Mclaine- out on a limb etc) to a point but something (HHHMMMM!!) has always stopped me finishing it?? Melsy what about the Kaballa??

The good thing about reiki training for healing is they (should) teach you techniques to protect yourself from negative energy and cleanse yourself and the environment etc.

I believe in spirit guides too, i think everybody has them it's just a case of listening to yourself and being aware of them. About 2 years ago I 'knew' I was going to have a car crash, I could just feel it so told DH. For about 2 weeks I was extra vigilant and had a few near misses (people missing me not visa versa!!) then at an intersection I was stationary and a car didn't slow down and drove straight into the back of me shunting the car with me, DS and my Nan into the fast lane of a 3 lane main road. I saw it happening in slow motion in my rear view mirror and was able to reverse quickly onto the hard shoulder as lights changed and cars sped by.....
Now you could say I had bought it on myself by thinking about it and generating negative energy but I believe I was being warned about it so was calm and able to act when it happened. I was studying reiki level 3 at the time and my teacher said with more 'awareness and practice' I could have protected myself more and stopped it happening.....
Who knows.....
I certainly mentally visualise a shield around the car now when getting into it to protect us and use a number of other visualisation techniques to protect family and home etc.

OOOH spooky , just did tarot reading for my dd & her life with spiritualality. It seemed to be more about me and my attiitude to my life changing. I didnt like the reverse explanations though.

I once participated in a prayer group... it felt quite powerful to me ... but it was with a religion that I did not want to get into.. so has not happened again.

We also did speaking in tongues which I was quite fluent at!! Felt most strange.

The other link on telepathy with your kids interested me. I read about that when pregnant in a Mother Goddess book.
I had alot of pre birth spirit history before the birth of dd hope it contines.

I could go on for hours about all this. The most recent thing is Spiritual healing. I went to a seminar with my Church (CofE) and was totally open minded though believe strongly in prayer. We were all praying together and my arms were shaking/wobbling and I couldn't stop it! The guy taking the seminar said the Holy spirit entering you can have this effect. Anyway, I've been giving it a go (healing) and managed to take the pain away from a very sceptical friend who has chronic back pain - on two occasions. I need loads of training but in the meantime I'm going for it. She felt intense heat then the pain shot up to her neck and left? Can't explain it but I pray for protection and she doesn't feel negative.

not really - kids used to go with me as I bribed them with sweeties as I got the sunday papers - they are wise to it now .... and I like my lie-ins!!

Still feel very spiritual though and try to live by my motto " Do as you would be done by"

it's hard to do all this stuff when you have children though Took dd twice to this church, first time she was in Sunday school and second time was Easter Sunday and she was so bored I just couldn't put her through anymore of it (dad forced as children and used to mess about) no bad thing that you don't go btw, it's not the going to church that matters but more what you do for your people...do you have any plans to go back at all?

I would say that even though I have not seen one I have definitely sensed some sort of being protecting me.
SOmetimes I forget about them and then something happens and I have to remember to "thank my angels" - Placebo or not - it has made me feel alot more secure and grounded. More confident about myself and a lot more optimistic.
My gran agrees with me and has photos ( that were authenticated by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle ) if her angel. Bit creepy though.
DH says that it's a load of twaddle - but I would definitely say that my "prayers" are answered - though recently I have turned my back on the church....
Now youve started me I'll not shut up

do you mean as spirit guides to keep us out of danger...then yes..never seen one, read "Spirit and Destiny" magazine which even has pictures of them...have you any experiences with them crystaltips?
