I know I would appreciate prayers as I face the prospect that the Littlest Dippy starts school in a few short weeks (w/c 12th Sept to be precise). Feeling a little wobbly to say the least ......

Prayers continuing for all, especially disappointed youngsters and results. As we have a DS whose end grades are nothing like the predictions each time despite huge effort, I know how it feels.
Off for a long weekend (when dh gets out of work...) so will catch up next week

Still struggling with side effects here. Got told off by dietitian today so am now on liquid supplements (bleh) and have been ordered to graze on small amounts of food throughout the day. Just tried some rice pudding and brought some of it back up but I guess I just have to persevere. Neck is very red and raw too and getting it cleaned and dressed every morning is tearfully painful. Poor DH has to clean it for me and it's hard for him to see my wincing in pain :(

Thank you Lord for a good first few days in Reception for dd and two happy mornings for ds at pre-school - I am very relieved and glad to have this week over. Hope all others with littlies starting school or pre-school have had a good start to the term.

sweetest, sorry you are having such a hard time... feeel free to whinge anytime. I hope that you manage to keep something down. there are so many things you are having to deal with as part of your treatment that you must feel it is one thing after another.

Praying for you Sweetest, and feel more than free to get it all out here, it is what we are here for. You are going through a horrible time and sometimes it's OK to just scream about it. In fact it's good to, that way you don't keep it all in. We can't be strong all the time. You take it easy and be easy on yourself too love. x

Prayers of thanks here. We told the DSs this evening about the baby. I was afraid they'd be upset and not want it - I've heard of kids who have said this. They were delighted though and seem to be equally happy about the idea of either a sister or a brother. If it had been up to me, I wouldn't have told them now if possible, but I'm aware I'm getting bigger and if we didn't tell them it was likely that someone else would sooner or later.

monday morning tired. was woken by a loud scream in the night.... mine not sure what I was dreaming about... it woke ds, so I had company for a bit til i he calmed down.

I feel shocked. Just found out an old gentleman who was a friend of ours died in a house fire last night. He was living on his own and forgetful etc. Hadn't seen him for a couple of years. feel awful.

mhd that's much be such a shock to find that out! Even though you haven't seen him for a long time. I found out last week a girl I knew from when I was working at the uni in Belgium, died unexpectedly. She was only 25.

Dippy half way through the school day!

I'd like to ask for a personal prayer. We are ttc our much wanted DC3 after loosing DD2 at 20 weeks pregnancy this June. I feel absolutely horrendous, emotionally and mentally drained. Just a prayer that my body sorts itself out soon... (I'm on CD40 and AF doesn't show and I keep testing negative) I wouldn't even be sad if my period would show up soon, but this long cycle is making me crazy!

Blue What a lot of things for you to worry about. Praying that things will sort themselves out for you very soon, one way or the other.

Just back from Cotswolds where we had a great weekend. Feeling alright at the moment, which is good.

Prayers for my SIL PLEASE! she is having her 2nd chemo treatment tomorrow, her hair is now starting to fall out in clumps, even though she feels its a small price to pay for getting well, my dbro is also finding it very hard.

Praise God for my nieces dh - has had penial cancer and is now in recovery!!!!!!! yehah!!!!!

Well DD3 has enjoyed her 1st mornings at school, which is great Hoping we can get into the swing of thins soon in DippyLand - have 3 rather tired, grotsome children at the moment and it is hard work!!!!!

oh look., i am wasting time mning AGAIN when i am supposed to be clearing up the living rroom/ hall/kitchen for nursery visit. an answer to prayer, they have said yes to ds swapping group for the first week, so I can take him and settle him properrly without having to rrush off.
