Grin

I know I would appreciate prayers as I face the prospect that the Littlest Dippy starts school in a few short weeks (w/c 12th Sept to be precise). Feeling a little wobbly to say the least ......

Hello - sorry, last week with the end of radiotherapy and the increasing side-effects has been quite hard - blog updated if you want to read about it.

Will remember Andrew Gosden and his family in prayers tonight. How dreadful to know nothing about your beloved child for so long.

Dippy, glad DC3 enjoyed school.

Prayers for everyone as I read back. Thank you for yours x

blackeyedsusan · 14/09/2011 14:52

amberlight · 14/09/2011 16:37

More prayers all round.

Surgery tomorrow. Eek. All will be well, I'm sure... Confused

SweetestThing · 14/09/2011 16:46

Praying for your surgery tomorrow, Amber. May God guide the hand of your surgeon and give you the best outcome.

Prayers for bed and tomorrow's visit, that all will be positivevansvsupportive.

SweetestThing · 14/09/2011 16:47

Sorry, that should have been bes, not bed!

PositiveAttitude · 14/09/2011 17:26

Prayers as I read through, especially for sweetest and for you Amber - for your surgery tomorrow.

Our interview tomorrow is off. DH is having to work. I am really annoyed with him and we are giving each other the silent treatment. Angry

thejaffacakesareonme · 14/09/2011 19:00

Amber - prayers for your surgery tomorrow.

Sweetest - how are you feeling?

Caz - how are you doing? Prayers all is going well.

Great to hear that all the kids seem to be settling in at school.

DutchOma · 14/09/2011 19:57

PA Eph 4:26
Amber What time is the operation?

BES What time is the visit? What do you mean? "One of 'those' families? Your kids are lovely and they were perfectly well behaved at the meet-up, as were they all.
Sweetest how are you doing?

PositiveAttitude · 14/09/2011 20:20

Thanks DO. No, we are ok now. It never last long, and one of us will smile and it is sorted with a few kind words.
Feeling much calmer about it and we are hopefully rearranging for the end of the month.

SweetestThing · 14/09/2011 21:29

I feel I am slowly turning a corner, thank you. My appetite is getting better and my throat and mouth are easing a bit. Very exhausted, though, and the skin reaction on my neck is pretty severe, but I finally feel a bit more like a human being rather than a crying, snivelling machine!

PA, glad things are sorted out with you and DH.

Prayers for all. Will be praying particularly for BES and Amber that tomorrow is guided safely by God.

blackeyedsusan · 14/09/2011 22:23

pa, that is very disappointing...

amber, good luck, thinking of you.

sweetest... poor you. I hope there is more uup than down...

do, it is the humiliation of having to go to the teacher and tell her that they are about to get a call from ss re dd because of the dv. it is a different teacher now, but same school as dd went to nursery.

PositiveAttitude · 15/09/2011 06:02

Prayers for you to have peace about todays surgery Amber

So glad that there appears a light at the end of the tunnel Sweetest.

DutchOma · 15/09/2011 07:07

BES the humiliation of having to tell the teacher that you are the subject of dv?? How, my dear, does that work?

blackeyedsusan · 15/09/2011 07:44

yeh well, I am getting better do, it was more ss involvement... even though I know it was his fault now, still having to admit it was not pleasant. got the grumpys because h got to go to house group last night all nicey nicey. oh well it will all help with school applications. Wink

anyway, I really came to wish amber well for the surgery today

and pa, hope you are not too disappointed. glad you can arrange something else.

amberlight · 15/09/2011 08:20

DutchOma · 15/09/2011 15:04

Oh Sweetest that is good news. Praise God indeed.

amberlight · 15/09/2011 21:08

Hi all
Home and feeling fine after the surgery today. Many thanks for the prayers. Now for a nervous wait for next Thursday where we find out if they got a good enough clear bit round the edge. If not, more surgery...and because it was at the back near the chest wall that might be tricky. Not quite 'out of the woods' yet, but keeping prayers going that they can zap the chest wall with enough radiotherapy etc for safety...
Prayers of hope, thanks and praise for all here.

Teaandcakeplease · 15/09/2011 21:27

Great news Sweetest. Praying for you Amber, glad you're home.

Sorry I'm lurking so much still. Tired and life manic with my 2 these days it seems.

blackeyedsusan · 15/09/2011 21:59

gld you are out amber. will you glow in the dark if you are irradiated?

such a relief. prayed on and off all day.

congratulations to not so little sweetest.

waves to tea and cakes

gone a bit wappy after the stress of being on show and made dough bread with dd. was too tired to drive to tescos and take 2 children round and i'm a bit worried the real bread will go mouldy in her lunch box Blush had a taste of one roll and it is not too bad, so I hope the rest are ok (adjusting timings for second batch) after feeding them kidney beaan, mung bean, carrot, veg stew with a bit of beef thrown in for flavouring for tea and cooking wholemeal bread with seeds... I feel the need to go to mcdonalds to reddress the balance. Confused I will regret the seeds about 12 hours after ds eats them.... he will be rationed!
