I know I would appreciate prayers as I face the prospect that the Littlest Dippy starts school in a few short weeks (w/c 12th Sept to be precise). Feeling a little wobbly to say the least ......

caz, how is that pock marked stomach of yours? ds was poked rather a lot as well poor lad. it just does not leave your head at all does it.(the worry) hang on in there.

please pray. have another potential plumbing problem. near the toilet. worried sick. going to leave today to monitor, then it will be calling out the plumber, again.

.... and now ds has thron a dinosaur at dd and she has got a black eye..

Just picked up your tales of woe BES Hope it got better in the last hour and that the plumbing problem is not really a problem at all.
The weather is not really very nice here, but would it be possible to go out and run some beans off?
Do you really have to attend every Sunday at church to get a child into a particular school? How very draconian. And how very wrong. Of them, not of you. How much longer?

Op is on 15th Sep. Then radiotherapy from about a month afterwards.

bes - I too have a ds starting pre-school who will not be potty trained - we have just given up after 3 weeks of him not showing any interest. Dd is starting school too so all change here. Will join those praying for their little ones.

but... prayers for family of a gentleman who was paragliding and his harness gave way, he fatally crashed onto the beach we were on, very traumatic.

Prayers for the family of that gentleman, what an awful thing for him and his family, but also for you. Were you very close?

newlark. he does show an interest and can wee, but toddler diarrhoea sort of makes it difficult to train for poo, and he regularly does 3 a day and up to 5/6 and it is this i worry about at nursery. he seems to have no concept they are coming and will sit on the potty for 15 minutes if in the mood, then get off and go 5 minutes later.

howw old is your ds?

the toilet seems to be leaking at the joint of soil pipe and toilet. (yuk) for soem reason our bathrooms are enormous (bad planning) and I have filled it with stuff, which needs to be moved before I can get the plumber in. I am lacking motivation and energy. off to do it soon. just spent 20minutes standing with ds whilst he tries to poo in the potty...he is noww screaming as I had to take him off to get dd a potty (leaky toilet) and she can not wait long

bes - my ds will be 3 in 3 weeks time and is starting pre-school on Monday. I'm sure your nursery will be fine when you explain the situation - they would rather deal with poo in a nappy/pull-ups than soiled clothes and hopefully seeing other boys using the potty/toilet will encourage him to use it too. Sorry about your plumbing problem :(

Could do with some prayer. Am starting to realise that I'm going to have to accept that DS will be an only child. DH doesn't want any more (he's got three more) and we are both getting too old.

gc, that is really tough. does he realise how much you want another child?

I am about to strip the third lot of bedding of a bed in 2 days due to leaks. making little progress with gaining access to bathroom for the plumber as tired and woken early by leaky child and the bathroom was a dumping ground. and ds is screaming so got to go...

SIL has been rushed into hospital with a possible ruptured ovarian cyst or it maybe something else. She's having a scan tomorrow, my brother is in Ireland with work, so it's all hands on deck at her house as they have 4 DCs that need caring for with both parents now away Please pray.

DO - Sea king helicopter was very close, I took dc for lunch to distract them. Although, Finlay came home and instantly made a para glider out of paper to play with, I don't think he understood the extent of accident, thank goodness. But, poor family, so traumatic for them and the fellow para gliders! my continued prayers for them all.

Back again Been camping with church and then had Fostering Panel to attend - so have been busy, busy, busy ........

yay, got hold of the plumber, he is coming tomorrow or saturdy, so I will expect him sometime next thursday i can get to the librrary tomorrow though, even today if ds goes to sleep and does not poo on the bedding.

SIL is out of hospital. Thanks for the prayers. Not entirely sure what was wrong in the end, I know they did a scan and she was in for 2 nights but that's it
