Grin

I know I would appreciate prayers as I face the prospect that the Littlest Dippy starts school in a few short weeks (w/c 12th Sept to be precise). Feeling a little wobbly to say the least ......

WE GOT THE HOUSE Grin Grin the landlord just phoned and said they would be very happy for us to rent it, he believes strongly in first-come, first-served and we were the first to put application in! Grin can you tell I'm excited and happy? GrinGrin
Thank you for all your prayers! I was very brave and not too selfish this morning and asked God to help me through whatever they decided, whether it was for us to rent it or not. I didn't specifically ask for us to have the house, but just for strength to understand the decision being made! I think I need to surrender a bit more to God, it certainly doesn't seem a bad thing at the moment Wink

DutchOma · 13/10/2011 14:28

Oh Blue, congratulations. Very happy for you. I must admit I did pray that you would get it, so thanks be to God for being wonderful.
Prayers for Jaffa's lady on the pregnancy board.

Giving thanks also for MHD's friend's daughter. Anorexia is such a terrible thing, I have not come across it personally, but it must be utterly terrifying to watch. Thank God that she is beginning to come out of it.
Leo how old is your daughter?

DutchOma · 13/10/2011 14:29

And ongoing prayers for Caz and Xander in or out.

madhairday · 13/10/2011 15:35

Ah Blue that's fabulous news!! I knew you'd get it!! :)

Praying for dd's sleep Leo. Nothing is too small to ask God help for, and I well remember the sheer exhaustion of non sleeping babies/children - it's hard work. Hope it all goes better for you tonight.

LeoTheLateBloomer · 13/10/2011 15:53

Great news Blue Smile.

Thank you DO and MHD, she's almost 18 months. We cracked it and now it's all gone slightly wrong again. Good old teething eh?!

SweetestThing · 13/10/2011 16:19

That's great news, Blue.

Praying for Cax and little Xander - hope we can give him a thread welcome soon!

Our friend Carl is safely back in the UK but still in a coma and scans etc very negative - please keep him and his family in your prayers.

Hospital visit for me today to see plastic surgeon about what he could do for my facial palsy. Have blogged here but it's a bit depressing, so you may not want to read it :( I am finding things very hard today.

thejaffacakesareonme · 13/10/2011 16:27

Good news re the lady on the pregnancy thread - the baby is hanging in there. SHe's 23 + 5 today and once she gets to 24 weeks they'll give her steroids to mature the baby's lungs. At the moment it just seems to be a policy of wait and see.

madhairday · 13/10/2011 16:29

ST I have read your blog. It is very honest and very moving. I often post depressing stuff on my blog too, they're a good vehicle for having a bit of a rant/scream/whatever. It's inspirational as well to read about your life and family and getting on with stuff.

Praying for Carl.

amberlight · 13/10/2011 21:41

Plenty of prayers for everyone.

gingercurl · 13/10/2011 21:55

lurking and praying

blackeyedsusan · 13/10/2011 22:21

oh heck. I emailed further info to the elder concerned and there has been no reply which was surprising considering the content of the email. it might not be as clear as it could be I suppose, but it was difficult enough to write without going into all the details. I tend to feel an emotional wreck after talking about what has gone on and can not afford to do that at the moment. I need to keep going for the children. they are meeting tonight, so i would not expect to hear about the outcome of the meeting until tomorrow at the earliest, but I was hoping for an acknowledgement of the email I did send.

DutchOma · 14/10/2011 06:44

Caz posted on Facebook:

Finally dh and I have our miracle. Beautiful baby boy Alexander Jon finally arrived by c section on 14th Oct at 00:45, weighing a fairly hefty 8lb 13oz. Looks like his big sister Anabelle, has lots of dark hair for now and is just perfect! Both mum and baby doing well.

blackeyedsusan · 14/10/2011 07:39

congratulations and thanks be to God!

MaryBS · 14/10/2011 07:43

Thank God for Caz and Alexander :)

BES, praying for some news for you. It may be he didn't want to reply straight away but wanted to give a considered answer, or even hasn't seen it yet. Or maybe even pray about it :) - I've done that when I've had a "significant" email which required a pastoral response. Hard on the person waiting but ultimately it may be better than a quick "got your email" message.

Praying for you also ST - you are an inspiration to all of us! (as are you, BES).

BIL's father has had his operation, it was postponed till yesterday, and is doing well.

Praying for the baby on the pregnancy thread...

Bluetinkerbell · 14/10/2011 07:51

So please for Caz the first thing I did when waking was

checking FB for news and there it was indeed! haven't stopped smiling since Grin

Praying for everyone who needs prayers!

blackeyedsusan · 14/10/2011 07:51
