glad to have a fairly quiet week after NW. DD is at theatre school all week so is peaceful during the school day. DS and DD still manage to wind each other up the minute she gets home though!

off to my Ps tonight, DC are having a holiday with them and we will be at home but without the need for sitters in the evenings!

praying for you MHD, I am a real settler and dislike change, so I feel for you!

:o yes its my birthday, for my sins... kids have been killing each other all day, which doesn't bode well for tomorrows meetup...

On the plus side, I got a "prize" delivered today, a St Ignatius windup toy. Has to be seen to be believed!

And of course, not forgetting that I will be test driving a hasbro game and will be given both game and video camera to do so :)

Finally, due to the ins and outs of Tesco wine deals, I got 6 bottles of wine for £18, when they are usually £7.79 each :o

You'll have to bring it. And bring something for the kids to do. I've got a 500 piece jigsaw and a puzzle toy, but nothing much else for older children.

No Sooz, can't quite manage that many, I'd struggle to drink 1 in a sitting!

We had the most amazing meal out last night, I could eat most of what was on the menu (they highlighted those I couldn't). And they even made me some gluten free bread!

DC off to the parents today, so another ending, they are subdued but excited too.

Feel like we're on top of stuff, even though it seems like chaos.

anyway, after spending the whole of yesterday thinking it was the 11th, I realised this morning as I was preparing my sister's birthday pressie, that it was the 12th, so I missed sending her a text on her birthday, and she shares your birthday Mary!
I was always planning to send her pressie today, because she was on holiday last week, and I didn't want it to be sent to the depot (because round there, the depot is on some random inaccessible industrial estate. ).
so I had to quickly text her this morning saying sorry I don't know what date it is!

ooh, test driving stuff, eh! I'd love to do that. :)

any ideas for good commentaries or notes on Romans? We're studying it at CBS Bible study this year and I'm supposed to be heading it up - need to do my homework while I have a bit of child free time (thanks Mum and Dad!)
