Everything about why this experiment on children is a truly awful idea is in the preamble or can be found on the Feminism board

Cancel the clinical trial into puberty blockers & safeguard vulnerable children - Petitions https://share.google/BcTNFNuJ2AOkOI30X

Also this is being done under Wes Streeting watch. He could stop it. He, despite admitting his own misgivings, isnt. If it goes ahead it should bear his name, the Streeting Trial of puberty blockers on Children.

I hope with all my heart that any nurses involved in this trial step away from it.
When I was a nurse we were able, with no judgment from anyone, to refuse to participate in treatments with which we disagreed on moral grounds.

Unfortunately this is sort of where we are now - sensible people left and gender clinics are full of ideologues.

Might not make 100K today but surely tomorrow. Thank you to JKR for retweeting.

Yes, but... Stonewall is collapsing under its own weight.
R N Sandie Peggie, Keira Bell, Ms Forstater, Ms Joyce, Ms K Stock, Ms JKR, legal teams up and the country and so many other brave principled women have thrown back the shutters letting in the light of understanding and the truth of biological fact..

I think most people, even those not directly affected by trans id awfulness are noticing what is being slipped into women's spaces, sports, opportunities, prisons and hospital wards (hard 'no you don't, matey') without asking us beforehand (again, 'hard no') as well as what a transwoman actually IS, what he may well look like, how he may behave and the implications thereof.
Public opinion is shifting: maybe HCPs and nurses who previously couldn't see a problem have been awoken to the fact that sex change is not possible, mutilating children is criminal and they dont want to find themslves on TWSOH.

It's also no1 on the 'popular petitions' (along with a couple of others that might be of interest)

That's such a relief. Thank you everyone that signed. I'm surprised the tras haven't started a counter petition.

After a slow start, my constituency in the NW has gone into a deeper shade of orange, along with most of those around us. Very noticeable now that most of the areas still lukewarm are the bastions of luvviedom in London (including Wes Streeting and Keir Starmer's constituencies) and some of the big university cities.

ProfessorRedshoeblueshoe · 12/01/2026 10:55

There was a counter petition. It was to lift the ban on puberty blockers. I only saw it because I couldn't see the numbers on the petition for where I live, so I asked google, and it came up with the other one, which 31 people in my area signed. Over 27,000 have signed this one.
