I think somebody notable must've shared it again, as the numbers have gone up by almost 4,000 in the last hour, and the counter is rolling away as you watch. It had dropped off a fair bit in speed up to that point.

I raised the question about gender services and mentioned the petition to my Labour MP during a surgery on Friday and was cut off as they were ‘running out of time’. Idiots. Hopefully this will be another of countless Labour u-turns. Unbelievable.

Children can not consent to abuse. I believe this is abuse. Giving healthy children drugs IS abuse.

Over 58000 people in the UK care enough about this to sign a petition, and there will be thousands more who haven’t seen the petition. That gives me hope.

But we are just a group of pathetic old women in an echo chamber that isn’t reflected in the general public, right?

Signed. I have autistic children and I firmly believe if society was more open and tolerant to children's interests and clothes choices etc this wouldn’t even be a consideration. Autistic children are often non 'conforming' to what is expected. This doesn't meant they need labelled and medicated.
