Polka. It's POLKA.
Rant over.

I hate threads where people say “the uk pronunciation” because we all know - or should know - that people in Belfast, Glasgow or Liverpool don’t say many words in the same way as people in London, Plymouth or Cardiff.

Polka and Poker are two different words though, I am northern and working class but even my posh friends say polka! It seems to be an internet trend to say poker dots. Like Future-Ventura as a holiday destination or anythink. Little things that bug me.
