Possibly my most rage inducing Mumsnet phrase. Also very prevalent on FB. Have to sit on my hands so as not to correct people I know. Any takers or do I need to calm down?

'to n throw' had me puzzled until somebody mentioned phonics.

I should have said accepted usage, of course it's not correct, apologies for not being clear.

This is my annoying MN phrase.

The poster is choosing a baby's name from a list e.g. 'Anna, Beth, Clara or Daisy'

The poster has already named her DD Daisy, so presumably liked the name more than other names, so she isn't biased towards it.

The missing -ed makes it more annoying, and 1000% makes no sense in this context.
