I think homophones are very underrated.

SO NBU. Drives me round the twist as well. I see it all the time on Facebook, and I feel like posting something sarcastic every time I see it!
Something along the lines of "well yes, you are a bit of a plank. Sort your bloody spelling out!"
Oh and another thing that gets on my boobies as well is people mixing up stationery and stationary. Absolutely unbelievable the amount of people who get those wrong.
I feel like yelling at the writer when I see it (especially when it's on bloody shop signs, FGS!) Stationery is your pens and paper and whatnot. Stationary is what you car is when it's stuck in a traffic jam. Ie, not moving. How bleedin' hard can it be?!
