have to take DS1 to his induction afternoon (2nd one - hoping he doesn't throw up like he did last week LOL) at his new school.........thing is DS2 has his sleep at 1pm-3pm - and the induction afternoon starts at 1.30

So I'm going to put DS2 down for his sleep as usual, at 1.30 on the dot grab the monitor, lock the front door and whizz round to the school to drop DS1 off - then whizz back again

LOL @ QofQ - was just going to say the same thing myself

Of course, what all u mummies (and I am one too!)have completely forgotten throughout this entire thread is that everything we do as a mummies is always completely wrong!

That's why we feel guilty all the time!!! So, whatever u do, u will be slated for it (which is why my MIL is probably always right)!!

Say each message here took on average 1 minute to type.

Last time I looked there were approx 1,030 messages. That's 1,030 minutes or approx 17 hrs worth of writing time - or time away from full on, being with your children.

All this time to discuss, all this for the 2.31 minutes QoQ was away from her baby. We're all mad!

nailpolish · 28/06/2005 22:44

am impressed with your arithmetic tigermoth, and v good point

hunkermunker · 28/06/2005 23:19

There is no hope for her, she's gone bat-happy!

JulieF · 29/06/2005 01:02

Blimey, this has developed hasn't it.

I'm just glad I don;t have to wmploy some of those sanctimonious nannies (disclaimer I'm sure there are some absolutely lovely nannies out there)

This makes my bashing on BW over letting dd sleep in the car whilst I watched her from inside the house very very tame.

I can't see that what QoQ did was any different than when ds is sleeping in his cot and I am outside with dd in the garden.

How hilarious this has all been!

emily05 · 29/06/2005 09:43

OMG - I just saw this in the news about what we are discussing BBC

dont flatter yourself QofQ - mumsnetter is certainly not me

JULIEBURCHILL · 30/06/2005 09:13

Even my punctuation pisses on your prose Parson's.

It reads like you're using your old 'O' level papers for inspiration.

You've quite blatantly got a huge (FIGURATIVELY) bonk on for Faria Alam.

How pedestrian. You haven't changed a bit. Past your prime..hurts don?t it?
