have to take DS1 to his induction afternoon (2nd one - hoping he doesn't throw up like he did last week LOL) at his new school.........thing is DS2 has his sleep at 1pm-3pm - and the induction afternoon starts at 1.30

So I'm going to put DS2 down for his sleep as usual, at 1.30 on the dot grab the monitor, lock the front door and whizz round to the school to drop DS1 off - then whizz back again

LL what on earth was going to happen to a child in 2 minutes???????

she HAD A MONITOR!

fgs, why is that ANY different from being in the garden???????

WigWamBam · 28/06/2005 20:24

Most of these judgemental posts aren't from MNers though, Socci. None of the insulting ones are.

"just because i am too selfish to have a slighty grumpy baby"

I still don't get how a baby being tired and miserable for 5hrs is me being selfish.

I know when I've not had enough sleep I feel like crp - and I should imagine that toddlers feel exactly the same way. If he had only had 1hr sleep instead of his 2hr sleep he wouldn't have eaten his dinner either as he would have been too tired, thus making him a tired and* hungry baby - not really fare on him is it???

the baby (well I call him that - he's not really a baby anymore - a full blown toddler - complete with tantrums ) has just turned 19 months old.

awww QoQ just accept your induction into the crap mother club and you get a free bottle of alcahol and lessons on how to deal with guilt.....

Caligula · 28/06/2005 20:26

Yes it had occurred to me that no-one seems to care about whether the baby's going to miserable all PM, QoQ. Not a very child-centred approach, is it?

WigWamBam · 28/06/2005 20:33

You don't really think this is going to stop just because it gets to 1000, do you, LGJ?

MrsGordonRamsay · 28/06/2005 20:34

No

but I can hope

LancashireLass · 28/06/2005 20:37

Give us a wave from Planet Perfect Parent; it's the nearest most of us will ever get to it.

hunkermunker · 28/06/2005 20:38

Are people meant to be with their children 24/7 then? Seriously - within eyeshot or is earshot OK?

Caligula · 28/06/2005 20:38

And er... talk me through the risks again, which were different to the risk of QoQ putting out the bins?

Perhaps I should get a perfect mummy harness to attach me to DS.

The most perfect parents are always the ones who don't actually have any children.

Like Gina Ford.

Nyahahahhahaahahahahahahahahahahaha.

LancashireLass · 28/06/2005 20:39

I am not perfect, just protective of the kids and I dont take risks when it's not neccessary. Common sense really!

Tortington · 28/06/2005 20:39

QueenOfQuotes · 28/06/2005 20:40
